The Lasa Guilai boutique Homestay provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Lhasa will find that the Lasa Guilai boutique Homestay is a fantastic accommodation choice. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 8km from Lasa Railway Station and 58km from Lhasa Gonggar Airport. With multiple attractions nearby including Snow City, Potala Palace, Barkhor Street and Qianfo Mountain, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Lhasa hotel offers parking on site. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with friends.

"This time we booked a room with a view. It was already night when we arrived at the inn. We could enjoy the night view of the Potala Palace by turning off the lights. We could also see the Potala Palace and the panoramic view of the surrounding area during the day. You can also take photos of the Sky Mirror on the rooftop (ignore the people and just look at the scenery). The handsome boss gave me delicious tea, and the fairy boss also gave me ******* incense. After watching the night view, I lit a ******* incense in the room. The faint fragrance is very suitable for use before going to bed. Come and stay! Definitely don't step into the trap 😄"

JJonaswqIt's a cute little traditional ******* style hotel that is just a stone throw from Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but has an Indian restaurant downstairs. You can also find plenty of food along the Barkhor Street which is like 2 mins walk away. Potala Palace is also relatively near about 2km away. The hotel also has cute kittens running around.

GGuest UserThe room is very clean and hygienic. The breakfast is good, with rich variety and spacious environment. The bedding is very comfortable, clean and has no smell of smoke. Oxygen is available 24 hours in the lobby, and hot drinks are welcome - Rhodiola in the lobby: I have not experienced these two. Coke and Wanglaoji are free in the room. It is worth noting that not all rooms have oxygen, and you need to book a ”room supply” room. The hotel restaurant is also OK. The portion is large and the taste is good, suitable for those who don't want to walk out.

AAnonymous UserLooking at the decor, you can tell it must have been beautiful when it was first built, with distinct ******* characteristics. It basically has all the facilities and services a five-star hotel should offer. However, the problem is that after so many years, the facilities are just too old. The cabinet doors don't close properly, the seating cushions are heavily worn, the old-fashioned toilet is very difficult to use, and the glass is foggy – I'm not sure if it's dirty or just aged. I chose a room with a Potala Palace view, but the cloudy glass really spoiled the experience. There were even leftover toenails from previous guests on the carpet, which was quite disgusting. I also have to mention the mini-bar. There were only 6 cans of Coke and Sprite, with no price tags. I assumed they were complimentary, but when I asked, they were 18 yuan each. Seriously, I've stayed in many five-star hotels. If a mini-bar is going to charge, please at least stock it with sparkling water, orange juice, and beer (if not wine or sparkling wine) to look more professional. If you only have these few bottles, either be generous and offer them for free, or just remove them. The current approach feels a bit cheap. Overall, this hotel definitely needs a renovation.

GGuest UserI was very satisfied with my stay. Manager Wayne Li was very responsible and would contact me in advance to inquire about my room requirements. He called me right after I placed the order and arranged a room I liked. Fruits were also given in the room, which seemed to be an exclusive service for Ctrip channels. The front desk checked in quickly, and the room I arranged had a good view. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the sleep quality was good. Wayne also kept asking me how my stay was and took good care of me. The elevator was also fast, the breakfast was also rich, and the environment was very good. It felt very comfortable with a blue sky, and this place was antique, not bad, and I will continue to choose it next time I have the opportunity to come to Lhasa!

MM492029****1. The location is absolutely perfect! The transportation is super convenient, walking distance to the business district/attractions. The room was clean and odorless, the bedding was soft and sleepy, the front desk service was warm and efficient, the price was full, and the next time I came, the stay was great! The sanitary details are full, even the bathroom gap is not gray, and the facilities are new and easy to use. Service response is timely, responsive, proper treasure hotel, highly recommended! The toilet is fully intelligent heating ~

LLvlingfan007The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful.

MM520513****The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to Lhasa's main thoroughfare, Jiangsu Road. It's about a 10-minute walk to the Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street area, where you can experience the traditional charm of the ancient city. The Potala Palace is also only about 3 kilometers away, making taxi rides very easy. Furthermore, there are numerous dining options nearby, and getting to famous attractions like Norbulingka and Sera Monastery is relatively convenient. The hotel's service quality leaves a deep impression on guests. The front desk staff are warm and friendly, and check-in and check-out processes are efficient. Staff members proactively greet guests and sometimes even offer small snacks like yak jerky, which adds a warm and welcoming touch. Considering Lhasa's high-altitude environment, all room types offer a 'diffused oxygen supply' service, with 24-hour free oxygen and humidifiers. This is crucial for alleviating altitude sickness and ensuring a good night's sleep, making it a top choice for many tourists, especially those visiting Tibet for the first time. The hotel boasts a spacious courtyard with an elegant and atmospheric ambiance. Guests can enjoy slow-paced Lhasa life here by gathering around a fire for tea and chatting, which is very pleasant. Guests generally rate the rooms as spacious, bright, clean, and tidy, with new and complete facilities. Bathrooms are equipped with heating, so there's no need to worry about getting cold while showering. The beds are comfortable, ensuring a good rest. The hotel also offers a rich and varied buffet breakfast with good flavors. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant provides a selection of beverages.

GGuest UserIt was during the trial operation when I stayed there. The hotel price was above average even in the off-season. Overall it was good, but there were a lot of problems. First of all, the floor heating temperature cannot be adjusted. The front desk said that the room temperature can be set by itself, but in fact it can only be set at 21℃22℃, and it cannot be higher. It is very cold after taking a shower and it is easy to catch a cold. The room phone cannot reach the front desk. The drainage of the bathroom in the room I stayed in was problematic, and the drainage was not smooth. After taking a shower, my feet were still soaked in cold water. The carpet in the corridor made it difficult to drag the suitcase with wheels.

MM43685****The room is OK, the service is really not good. I don't know if it is a problem of a few famous people or a personal problem. I have communicated in advance before check-in. We can only get to Lhasa at 3:30 in the night, and we can avoid the room rate for one day. At that time, the phone has been answered positively. Drived for 14 hours to the hotel. It was already 3:34 at the time, and I asked again if I could waive the one-day room rate. It was possible to promise in person. Spent 1010 two double rooms for three nights. The order is Trip.com . On the next afternoon, call me and say their finances are asking if the order is wrong and ask if I can make up for the day's room rate. I really don't understand why the hotel can call me directly, and I was in the Potala Palace at that time, such a quiet place, I was embarrassed. Later, I went back to the hotel to solve the problem. I didn't understand the attitude of their manager, and I felt like I was taking advantage of them. Now let's talk about the key points. You are a newly opened hotel for a year. The sanitation is really not good. Two rooms, floor drain, and beds are all hair. The bathroom ceiling is leaking. Do you need anything else I say?

GGuest UserThe room is very good and very special, the location is superb, you can experience the local style, go to the Jokhang Temple is very close, there are a lot of food, whether it is to take the direction of Barkhor Street or go to the mall on the street. The little brother of the hotel is also super good, equal to earning a local tour guide, you can find him to introduce the food. There's heating! There's an oxygen generator! The facilities are super complete! The restaurant upstairs can also see the Potala Palace!
