The staff is nice and friendly. The breakfast was great and tasty. There’s lots of food to choose for. The room is clean, bed is comfortable.

The stay is great, the hotel staff took care of me on my last day when i fell really sick. Really appreciate the concierge staff!

not much choice in restaurants

Great hotel, large room (was upgraded for free to Suite), clean. Marshal at reception was friendly and attentive. Large variety at breakfast, although the western options are still slightly limited. Would be nice to have greek yoghurt and more cereal choices. Chinese options are great. Joy (waitress at breakfast) was very good and deserves a mention!

I stayed in Shangri-La in Lhasa for two nights. Due to an upper respiratory tract infection, I decided to take a day off to go to Kulagangri, so I decided to change my place to experience it. OK, I started to explain the problem directly: 1. The hotel staff lacks a sense of boundaries. When I checked in, the front desk said in a very sarcastic and slightly embarrassed tone, "You are only staying for one day, and you still booked a twin room." Then everyone from the concierge to the WeChat butler emphasized that I was "staying for one day". What, one day is not worthy of staying in your hotel? Or do IHG employees have the task of upsell? 2. The buffet dinner restaurant looks like it is about to close at any time. It was just past eight o'clock, and there were only a few scraps and ice cubes left in each drink, and the dishes in the cooked food area were also cold. 3. I bought some medicine in the evening because I was not feeling well. The takeaway was delivered to the hotel forty minutes but no one delivered it. I needed to emphasize it to the butler before it started to deliver it slowly. If your hotel robot cannot deliver it in time, can you call to inform or arrange for the concierge to deliver it? 4. The exhaust fan in the room was not working properly. I went to the front desk to ask for repair but it still didn't work. 5. I was not feeling well and was awakened by a call from the hotel front desk after 8 o'clock in the morning. No one answered the call, so I couldn't fall asleep again. Less than half an hour later, I received a WeChat message from the housekeeper asking if I wanted to extend the room (you really are...) In general, InterContinental can still rank among the top three in terms of hardware in Lhasa, but please pay more attention to it. True hospitality for Good, sincerity, reliability, care, excellence, all talk about service, and please ask yourself, which one have you achieved?

Arrived at the hotel at nearly midnight, the on-duty Xiao Hu warmly received us and quickly helped us to check in. The room is quite large. Although it is old, it is well maintained and cleaned in time. The breakfast is always at the Intercontinental level, and the fruit is very fresh. All the staff are very enthusiastic. Zhuqiong and Suolang Pingcuo, two handsome guys, always took the initiative to help with the luggage, and they are warm and cute. If I have the opportunity to come back to Lhasa in the future, I will stay at this hotel again.

When I came to Lhasa again, I chose the InterContinental Hotel which I had not stayed in before. I was pleasantly surprised. It is the most cost-effective hotel among the top hotels in Lhasa. The room is large, the sanitary conditions are good, the oxygen supply is complete, the breakfast is rich and the restaurant is huge. In particular, the housekeeper Yuzhen's warm and thoughtful service left me with very good memories of this trip.

The room was very good, clean and spacious. The service was especially good. Since it was a combination of two itineraries, a special housekeeper, Nancy, helped coordinate the change of different room types on the same floor, which was very good. The breakfast hall was the highlight, bright and garden-style, very distinctive. I will come again next time.
