The stay experience is perfect! The hotel is elegant and modern, and the lobby is bright and warm. The room was cleaned spotlessly, the mattress was moderately hard and soft, the sound insulation effect was excellent, and the whole night was quiet and sleepy. Xiao Zhao at the front desk was efficient, the service staff was active and enthusiastic, and also reminded the precautions intimately. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious. The location is excellent and the surrounding transportation is convenient. The overall exceeded expectations, and I will definitely choose to stay again next time!
Xiaoshang's service attitude was very good. There were many people around to check in, but she didn't panic. She said she would fill in the form and when she came back, she saw that my name was already written. Thank you very much
This business trip was my first time to the plateau. It was originally just an ordinary trip, but it became my most unforgettable stay experience.
When I first arrived at the hotel, the warm smile of the girl at the front desk made me feel very friendly. When checking in, she noticed that my face was not very good, and immediately sent a cup of warm sweet tea, and thoughtfully arranged a well-ventilated and sunny room for me.
Late at night, I suddenly felt unwell. I used to come and go to the plateau frequently for business trips. This time I probably caught a cold. It was snowing in Lhasa. After that, I quickly contacted the front desk, and the duty manager quickly arrived with the staff. They were professional and calm. One helped me adjust the pillow and body position, and the other gently patted my back to help me breathe. After I felt more comfortable, I felt that I didn’t need to go to the hospital. What touched me most was that they were afraid that the room’s diffuse oxygen supply was not enough, and they also thoughtfully pulled the oxygen tank. It was so thoughtful.
The next morning, the doorbell rang gently. I opened the door and found that it was the girl at the front desk who personally brought the breakfast tray, which was filled with porridge, side dishes and steaming sweet tea. ”I was afraid you might feel uncomfortable, so I sent it directly to you,” she said softly, ”Just tell us if you need anything.”
Every day after that, I could always hear a gentle knock on the door at a fixed time. Sometimes it was fresh fruit, and every time it was accompanied by warm greetings.
Before leaving, the girl at the front desk specially wrote down my return time and helped me call a car in advance. She stood at the door of the lobby with concern in her eyes. At that moment, I suddenly realized that real service is not about form, but about caring from the heart.
In this strange city, I met not service staff, but a warm presence like family. Thank you for interpreting what true hospitality is with your meticulous care. Such warmth is worth remembering forever. Next time I come, this will definitely be my only choice.

For a self-driving trip to Lhasa, the Intercity Hotel Lhasa is my top choice! I've stayed there before, so I trust it! Parking is very convenient; you can drive right up to the door and park there. When I got out of the car, the hotel receptionist came to help with my luggage—so thoughtful! The hotel lobby is spacious and clean, and the front desk staff is welcoming and efficient, making check-in a breeze! The front desk service was excellent, welcoming, and helpful. They even helped deliver my luggage to my room. The room was comfortable, and there was complimentary Perrier and beer in the refrigerator! I also had a view of the Potala Palace—a truly amazing experience! I extended my stay, and the housekeeper's service was impeccable. She was incredibly attentive and kept my room spotless and tidy. It was thoughtful and heartwarming.
I would definitely stay here again. The location is super convenient, with easy access to transportation and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers who value quality and a friendly, personal touch. It's a truly trustworthy choice! I'll definitely be supporting it!

The hotel exceeded expectations. Although the road at the entrance is a bit narrow and a bit messy due to road construction, the hotel (especially the room) exceeded expectations. As soon as we arrived at the garage, someone came out to greet us and help us park and take our luggage. There was snow chrysanthemum tea (I think, anyway it was chrysanthemum) at the front desk, and a young lady presented you with a Hada.
The room is clean, the facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the bath water is hot. There is a pharmacy opposite the hotel. If your same-sex friends have severe altitude sickness, you can rent oxygen cylinders and have them delivered to the hotel, which is very convenient.
The hotel view is also very good. You can see the Potala Palace from the bed, although it is from the back. There is also a super large platform, which should be great for eating and drinking in the summer. There are several small glass rooms on the platform, like a mahjong room.
A very good five-star hotel in Lhasa. I like to see the scenery. The front desk girl arranged a good view. The house in the distant mountains is very Tibetan. The room is very comfortable. There is oxygen dispersion. The rest is very good. The breakfast is also very good. There is also Tibetan noodles. That is, Qingyu beef noodles. And butter tea is very good, the location is very good, you can take a walk to Robrinka and the Tibet Museum. Good time.
This stay experience was great! The location of the hotel is super convenient, you can walk to the subway station in a little more than 10 minutes, and it is very convenient to eat and shop around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept very soundly all night. The front desk provided soundproof earplugs, steam eye masks, disposable face towels and other super convenient. The front desk staff was very good. When I checked in, I patiently answered my itinerary questions and took the initiative to upgrade the room type. The aunt who cleans every day is also very careful and will replenish toiletries in time. The breakfast is rich and healthy, and the buffet breakfast ingredients are fresh and delicious. The price is super high, I will choose here next time I come to Lhasa!
Facilities: complete and intelligent. Sanitary and clean, large space.
Environment: The environment is located in the center of Lhasa, there are many restaurants around the city, there are public electric cars on the roadside, it is convenient to travel, the parking lot is large, and the entrance and exit are 5 yuan.
The hotel is excellent in all aspects. Large parking lot, good location, 1.5 km from the Potala Palace. Rich breakfast. Complete facilities, first-class, large amount of water, very good water temperature. The waiter is very friendly and responsive. There is a cafe on the 7th floor, where you can see the Potala Palace. The steak set is cheap and good.

WWanderfieIt’s one of the nicest hotel compare to other hotels in Tibet. Staff weren’t the friendliest people but they are okay. Sometimes there’s door man sometimes no. Corridor is carpeted so it’s hard to push the luggages but you can always ask the hotel staff to help you. Location is a bit far from where all the buzz is… but easy to take a didi to the main area. Overall you basically paid more for standard shangrila standard. Comfortable bed.
GGuest UserThe hotel's room service is very good, especially the room attendants Laqu and Qiongji's attentive service and good room hygiene. I would like to praise these two waiters.
YYunniangziyouI stayed in the cheapest and most common room type. The disadvantage is that although you can see the garden on the first floor, it is not worth seeing. The hotel is relatively large. If the room is arranged closer to the inside, it may take five or six minutes to enter and exit the hotel door. .
Anyway, except that there is no bathtub and the bathroom is smaller, other facilities, environment and services in the room are all five-star standards.
I was originally worried that the state-owned hotel facilities were old, but that was not the case. They should have been regularly repaired. The toilet is the latest intelligent warm toilet. The Yuyue medical oxygen supply device can diffuse moisture throughout the room at all times. The other furniture and decorations do not have a shabby feel. The toiletries are all in disposable mid-to-high-end small bottles. The hot water for showers is large. It's very hot, fully equipped with clothes hangers, shoe wipers, high-end green tea bags, two large reusable bags, white ceramic tea cups as clean as new, trash cans clean and not covered with plastic garbage bags (it can be said that every trash can is changed, high-end hotel processing method)
I don’t know why the platform said that some rooms do not have air conditioning, but my ordinary room also has central air conditioning.
The most satisfying thing is the breakfast, which can be said to be six-star. No wonder the separate charge is 98. It can be said that the variety is complete and the taste is good. It includes several kinds of Tibetan snacks, yogurt and butter tea, as well as Chinese and Western breakfasts and drinks. This is surprising, and few state-owned high-end hotels can do this. I happened to be not in a hurry in the morning, so I ate slowly for more than half an hour, and the waiter was also very patient in serving me. Thanks!
Maybe I was so comfortable that I forgot to take pictures.
BBaihulixianTraveling with my parents, we booked a room with a king bed and a twin bed, but they were not arranged on the first floor. The corridor on the twin bed floor always smelled of cigarettes. I hope to add non-smoking floor options.
The VIP building is a little inside the hotel entrance. The car has to be driven in specially, otherwise it is just walking in at the door.
The room facilities are quite satisfactory, the bedding is good, there are offering facilities, which are provided from night to morning, and the switch is convenient. The first day was provided until 7 o'clock, and the second day was gone at 6 o'clock. The official time is 6 o'clock. The dry and wet separated bathroom, that is, the bathroom has no door, which is actually a bit embarrassing sometimes.
The biggest problem is that the room is too hot... Because there is no cooling demand in summer, the air conditioner can only ventilate at most. The window can be opened but the wind cannot come in. The room facing south is still very hot until the evening. Thank you for the sun in Lhasa.
Fruits and snacks are provided at the door, which is life-saving. The tea provided is of good quality, and the breakfast is OK. It has what it should have. I especially praise the tsampa, but the waiter needs to make it now, and someone needs to ask. The room service is better than the front desk.
All in all, it's a state-owned hotel with no special services, but the overall price/performance ratio is good.
AAnonymous UserHaving spent some time in Lhasa and stayed at several hotels, my 7-8 nights at the IHG stood out as the most hassle-free and best value-for-money option.
**Nearby Attractions:** The Tibet Museum is just a short walk away. For first-time visitors to Tibet, it's a great opportunity to catch a free hourly guided tour where staff introduce the region's history and local culture. Since the hotel is relatively central, getting to various other attractions by taxi is also quick and convenient.
**Room & Amenities:** The cleanliness and facilities were well-maintained, and the rooms felt quite spacious. The only slight inconsistency was with amenities; some rooms had hair conditioner, while others didn't.
**Breakfast:** The breakfast spread was generous, though the two types of fruit offered daily would often be the same for several consecutive days. I heard this was because they only switch varieties after their bulk purchases are fully consumed.
Ddongzheng138Hotel location is very good, downstairs is KFC and supermarket, easy to eat. It is very close to the Potala Palace and Robrinka, and you can walk to it. Breakfast is rich and recommended.
Free dispersion oxygen service: This is still very important, sleeping at night to open oxygen will relieve high reaction, people are easy to fall asleep.
GGuest UserThis trip to Lhasa was the right accommodation! The experience of Xi'an Hotel (Tibet Museum) far exceeded expectations, and it is definitely a treasure choice for visiting exhibitions and living. The location is full. The hotel can walk to the Tibet Museum in a few minutes. It is especially convenient to go back to the hotel after watching the exhibition. It is also very close to the Potala Palace. It saves time and effort to travel. The surrounding dining and shopping facilities are complete, and you don't need to run far to solve the needs of eating and drinking. It is too friendly to tourists. The room is a bright Tiffany blue with black and white lines, stylish and warm, and the details are well handled. The bedding is comfortable, the mattress is just right, and the room is quiet and no noise, and you can sleep well every day. The most intimate thing is that it is equipped with a free oxygen generator. There is no need to worry about lack of oxygen in the plateau area. Toiletries are all available. Even small objects such as razors can be provided. I understand the travel needs too much. The service is warm and thoughtful, the front desk staff is warm and patient, the facilities will be introduced in detail when checking in, and the luggage will be taken to the room. The hotel also has a laundry room, which can wash clothes at any time during long-distance travel, and the practicality is full. Whether it is location, facilities or services, it is impeccable, the price is super high, and I will definitely stay here next time I come to Lhasa!
GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.
