We experienced the pool room, and it was really convenient for the kids to play in the water, though the water temperature wasn't as warm as the main pool. The room was tidied up promptly, and the kids' club is huge – definitely a plus, plenty of space for them to burn off energy. Our butler, Taozi, added me on WeChat a day in advance and thoughtfully prepared two sets of children's amenities in the room. Booking through Ctrip gives you access to an exclusive check-in/check-out counter, so there's no waiting in line. We booked an Sky Pool Room, and Taozi proactively helped us reserve a perfectly located room, almost in the center of the hotel, with an amazing sea view. For three days, Taozi was incredibly attentive and responsive to all our requests. There were tons of kids' activities; the children absolutely loved making cookies and sandwiches. There's also a huge play area with trampolines, inflatable castles, ball pits, and slides – everything you could imagine. The Sky Pool Room was also fantastic. The sun no longer hit the pool around 1 PM, so we could play in it all afternoon. It was so refreshing to jump into the pool right from our room! The businesses on the basement level offer great value with package deals; for less than 200, you can enjoy eight different activities. The escape room was really fun, and the small animals were adorable. We'll definitely choose a Sky Pool Room again next time; it's perfect for kids. Our only small regret is that we couldn't go to the kids' splash area at the water park because it was under maintenance. We'll have to go next time!

First, let's talk about the check-in process, which significantly impacted my experience. It was incredibly convoluted and inconvenient. As a guest who booked through Trip.com, I couldn't check in at a convenient spot. To be fair, I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5 overall.
The service was excellent. They called me before arrival and asked very detailed questions about the room preferences, like whether we needed the twin beds pushed together or a bed rail. They had everything prepared, which I really appreciated. The butler service was also spot on – very responsive, answered all our questions, and replenished things like bottled water and towels quickly.
Hardware-wise, it's a mixed bag. There's a water world, a kids' water play area, and an infinity pool on the 11th floor on one side, plus an indoor kids' playground. There's actually quite a lot to do. However, the ground in the kids' water play area has rough particles that scraped my child's toe accidentally.

I usually don't leave bad reviews, but my stay in Sanya this March was really disappointing. The beach was the only thing I liked. When I arrived, the front desk told me there was a dedicated counter for Ctrip guests and I wouldn't have to wait, but I ended up queuing for at least half an hour. Extremely dissatisfied. I booked through Ctrip, and even then, if it weren't for the butler, there would have been almost no service.

Check-in was smooth. When I went into the room to change clothes and get ready to go out, I noticed there were nail clippings on the sofa and the floor. I'm not sure if they were fingernails or toenails, but it was really disgusting. So, I thoroughly inspected the room and found hair under the duvet. I contacted the butler and the duty manager, and their solution was to have the room re-cleaned and to send a fruit plate. Given it was peak season, I didn't want to make things difficult, so I agreed. However, I still feel very uncomfortable. The hotel facilities are decent, but the front desk staff's service attitude was really poor. They were very dismissive, giving off a vibe of 'take it or leave it.' We only got things sorted out after a manager stepped in. The kids' water park also had a strong smell of urine! The service here absolutely can't compare to the chain five-star hotels in Sanya! Next time, I won't bother coming to Lingshui; I'll just go to Sanya instead!
