The House on the Pink Street in Lisbon

The House on Pink Street offers exceptional lodging in Lisbon's downtown center, just steps away from the iconic Pink Street and close to Chiado's shopping and theaters. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and escorted to a beautifully renovated apartment, immersing us in the local ambiance. Joana and Veronica provided impeccable hospitality, akin to a luxury 5-star hotel experience. The thoughtful amenities included a delightful assortment of fruits, jams, cookies, biscuits, mini cupcakes, coffee pods, and a doorstep breakfast service. Despite the bustling nightlife of Pink Street, we enjoyed two peaceful nights in the contemporary and stylishly decorated apartment. Notably, the bathroom featured quality toiletries and a full glass door, a welcome departure from the flooding issues encountered in other European hotels during our month-long trip.

The location to Pink Street was great! The room was spacious. Couldn’t ask for a better host, Johana was very accommodating to our early check in. The room came with washer/dryer and lots of kitchen items for cooking. They checked in with us to see if we needed anything else.

The location is alright, though not ideal due to the abundance of nighttime entertainment. The staff is okay, but the area is excessively noisy. While the room and bed were comfortable, dealing with cockroaches in the bathroom was unpleasant. Considering the noise and crowds, we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

My daughter and I felt welcomed, safe and pampered at The House on Pink Street. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our brief stay in Lisbon was exceptional. From connecting us to a free walking tour, to checking on our daily needs, and pointing us to things to do, we loved every minute. The accommodations were new, clean, spacious, apartment-style…much more than we expected.

The House on Pink Street is actually an extension of the Corpo Santo Lisbon Historical Hotel and as such we enjoyed both the boutique atmosphere of the "House" and the amenities of the large luxury hotel. The service from Joanna, the manager of the "House", was simply fantastic. She is the main reason why we will come back to this hotel on our next trip to Lisbon. Great location, basically close to everything in Baixa and Chiado. We chose the two bedroom apartment (which is supposedly unique to the House) which was very spacious and allowed a group of four to have their own space.

This was our first time to Lisbon and I could not have chosen a better place to stay! The House on Pink Street was amazing!! The apartment was so nice, we could've stayed much longer than the 3 nights we booked. It was a great location also... walking distance to everything! Joanna, who runs the place, was so friendly and helpful with any questions or arrangements we needed. I would definitely stay there again whenever we are back in the area!

Exceptional place. First and foremost, the hospitality was extraordinary, a warm and gracious welcome to Portugal by the personable Joana, whose discreet attentiveness remained high level (and bespoke) throughout our visit. The location is superb, minutes from trams, buses, metro, waterfront, beautiful neighborhoods to roam. Our apartment, on a fourth floor corner, had spectacular light and views. It was perfectly outfitted and esthetically quite pleasing. I'd return in a heartbeat. (We were not there on a weekend, when it's possible that even the double soundproofed windows would require the use of the provided earplugs.)

My husband and I visited Lisbon for the first time and our stay at the House on Pink Street was absolutely amazing!!! Joana met us upon arrival and after a very lucky upgrade, she brought us to our apt and gave a very detailed explanation of everything we needed. Communication was always quick and clear via what’s app. She did her very best, making sure we always had what we needed and even so kind with little extras! Truly perfect hospitality. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and linens. They offer complimentary earplugs but we never had an issue with noise. The windows are double sound proof. It was peaceful. Showers had great pressure and hot water was quick. Towels were fresh daily and plush - even fabulous robes to wear during the stay. Our unit was equipped with all you’d need to make meals and clean w dishwasher and W/D. We ate out yet the W/D combo worked perfectly. After travel it was nice to have waters, sodas, etc in the refrig and snacks & coffee - gratis. We loved the location of THOPS, right near the water. A quick walk to Time Out, shopping, and tons of bars, restaurants and sightseeing. Also a bonus of staying at the sister to Corpo Santos is we were able to enjoy all of the common areas, tours and extras offered at their hotel. We enjoyed every part of our stay and highly recommend. We’ll definitely return!
