The hotel is conveniently located walking distance through a covered walkway from Terminal 4. Access to Terminal 5 is also easily accessible via a free train service. The reception staff were very helpful. The room is comfortable and cosy.
Lcation is ok, about 10mins walk to the nearest Farrington underground station. Convenient store is just across the road from the hotel, which is very helpful should you need some last minute stuff. Frontdesk staff was very helpful. However, when trying to call from your room phone, usually takes a few attempts before someone answer the call. As my booking is for 2 adults and 1 child, each day the room service will only replace 2 bath towels, even after few attempts informing we need 3 towels. Each day the room service is just to tidy up the room, some trash were left in the room, bottled water will not be replaced if your current bottle still have water in there. For future London trip, will definitely look for other alternatives.
Very short overnight stay after spending the day at Wimbledon, so my review is limited! The room seemed newly decorated, small but functional (fine as a solo traveller.) It was a bit noisy in the morning, as situated next to the lift. I was disappointed not to find any drinking water available in the room, as is typical at other Crowne Plazas I've stayed in. The bathroom tap water wasn't pleasant. Good location with just a 30-40 minute walk to Kingston. I didn't use the bar/restaurant or have breakfast, so can't comment on those. The staff I dealt with were friendly and efficient.
The Breakfast was ok could do with more selection of pastries, Gym could do with a bit more equipment. Apart from that hotel is decent nice room and decent location Tube Station 5 mins walk away. Would stay again.
Stayed 4 nights and happy overall with the room and restaurant. However the hotel double charged me - my room was prepaid on Trip, and hotel reception took my credit card details for incidentals. After checking out I found I was charged again for the room, they basically charged a customer without a.) contacting Trip to sort out the payment as it should be, b.) without a phone call to me ahead of taking the money and c.) without the customer authorization (in theory I only authorized the incidental pre-auth).
Kudos to colleagues at Trip who followed up and processed the refund within a week! But deeply unhappy with the hotel's handling of the incident especially customer communication! Double check your bank transactions if you choose to stay at this place
Okay location from airport. There is a shuttle bus that runs to both terminals for £5 pp.
The location of the hotel is amongst residential homes and the rooms are not sound proofed enough. It was very noisy. Bring earplugs.
Room is spotless. Amenities are great. Coffee. Tea. Biscuits. Toiletries in room and on request. Perfect for one night stay before or after a visit to Gatwick Airport.
