⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Great Budget-Friendly Stay Near VFS Global I stayed at Point A Hotel London Shoreditch during my visa application trip, and the location was very convenient. If you’re visiting VFS Global for visa-related work, this hotel is only a short distance away, making it a practical choice. We booked the room for £61 per night without breakfast, which felt like good value for London. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and had a nice atmosphere. The lobby area was comfortable and welcoming, creating a good first impression. A special mention to Praveen at the front desk. He was very helpful, professional, and had a positive attitude throughout our stay. His friendly service made the experience even better. Our room was located in the underground level and was medium-sized. The lighting design gave the room a unique vibe, almost like a party-mode atmosphere. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and very clean. The only downside was the lack of storage and workspace. There were no wardrobes and no table in the room, which may be inconvenient for longer stays or for travelers who need to work. Overall, this is a clean, affordable hotel with a great location and helpful staff. I would recommend it for short stays, especially if you’re visiting VFS Global or exploring the Shoreditch area.

I originally called before booking to clarify the parking for my oversized box van & was told that if I arrived late alternative parking could be arranged which was appreciated, on arrival the car park was difficult to navigate due to discarded furniture (was removed on the 2nd day) there was signs that building work was ongoing, bar was clean and airey, food was really good and the bar staff were extremely friendly, apart from the Young lad on reception who was quite rude n had attitude-after i brought in my empty glass and placed on the counter! I would stay again.

The hotel was lovely and so were the staff members. We had a room without a window and did not feel claustrophobic at all and the rooms were lovely and modern and also very clean. The only thing that would make this stay even better is maybe a few coffees or tea in the room to enjoy, something like that.

Second time staying here, asked to change rooms due to the smell in the bathroom and the receptionist was very accommodating and the second room was great

Nice room, nice leds… I think we got the room for handicaps but it was bigger in return, I messaged the hotel several times for booking doubled beds since I was going with a colleague but it wasn’t possible. Luckily enough beds were comfortable and didn’t transposed movements much.

A really great hotel in a perfect location to public transport and loads of restaurants and shops. The only thing we noticed was that the soap and the shampoo/shower gel has a very very strong smell which for us wasn’t the most pleasant, so maybe grab a bar soap or use your own toiletries if you’re sensitive to smells!

Quiet street during Christmas period, most shops were not opened. However, easily accessible to many bus stops, trains, etc. As for service, the hotel charged storage fee for luggages, which I think it’s not too reasonable for hotel guests.
