Nice service and good location. You need to check in at another hotel but not difficult to find.

Avoid this place!! It is terrible, I booked this place for my wife and I for 2 nights 10th & 11th November 2023 , on arrival we had to go to the Beverly hotel to pick up our keys for the Eaton House ( yeah ok) not!! The Eaton House is a 10 minutes walk from the Beverly which is fine, but, we were given a room on the lower ground floor, it was basically an ensuite bedroom with a view from the window onto a brick wall, there was no wardrobe, the toilet door hit the bed when you opened it, the paint was peeling off the wall and it was tiny. So after a complaint we were moved up to the Beverly hotel into a Luxury room? Which was basically just the same but it was upstairs and had a wardrobe, I had booked this ( S-Hole ) for my wife's birthday, my god I felt so bad, what a way to celebrate a birthday. Do not go here it is very expensive for a bedroom with or without a wardrobe!!

Absolutely avoid at all costs. I wish I had read other reviews. Service was atrocious . Firstly I didn’t get the room I booked. Check in time was meant to be 3 and I didn’t get a room until 6.45pm. I was told to wait in a cafe and get a coffee. The aircon was down and I was just told ‘you have a fan and keep the window open. It was 30 degrees outside and I didn’t get any sleep for 2 nights. The internet didn’t work. All of this with no apologies or options for anything else. Finally when I checked out the concierge told me I would get a refund. Well, upper management through subsequent emails refused to honour this and after 15 emails just offered a 50% discount on a future stay. Needless to say I’l never stay there again. No doubt there will be a response to this saying I got offered another room for the second night but this is just false. DO NOT BOOK HERE

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Firstly, nothing in the booking i originally made indicated that it was a sister hotel to a different one that was 5 minutes away, which is where you would check in and collect the room key from. The hotel room was pretty nice but a standard hotel room. Nice TV but our remote did not work, didn’t even have a back on the batteries, just some tape. We left for dinner that evening and when we came back, the door to our room would not open, no matter how much we pressed the key card to it. I rang the reception and she made us a new one, therefore we had to walk to the other hotel to collect it. We went back to our room and still, the keycard would not open the door. I rang again and the lady came round to our room, and came to the conclusion that the issue was the door itself and she’ll send someone the next morning to fix it. Me and my partner were pretty annoyed as we now couldn’t go back out that evening and were stuck in the room. We were not offered a change of rooms or anything like that. The next day someone finally comes in the afternoon to ‘fix the door’, but instead she came in and fixed the safe? I’m glad we were still in the room to see this, otherwise we would have returned late at night from ‘the weeknd’ concert and the door would not have opened again. I once again rang reception and told them what happened, they said they’ll send her around again. At this point it was about 1:30pm and no sign of anyone. We ended up leaving as we did not want to waste anymore of our day. I rang reception later in the afternoon where they then confirmed the door had been fixed. When we checked out the following day i told the 2 men at reception that i wasn’t happy or impressed with this, and neither had much to say, just ‘sorry’. For the price of almost £350 that we paid, i feel we were totally ripped off, and not offered any compensation at all. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Amazing unique little hotel , thank you so much Anna for accommodation to all pur needs and making our stay such a pleasant one. We loved every minute of our stay , this place deserves so much more credit it was spotlessly clean , fresh towels the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. Yes the rooms are small but they have all your necessities and the location is amazing a stones throw away from transport links and theatres shops and eateries, not to mention a 6 minute walk to Buckingham palace. We will definitely be returning thank you so much Anna and team ❤

For a central London base this is good value for money but expect a small room with no wardrobes and a tiny shower room. We stayed for two nights and our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay which was disappointing. We were also on the top floor so had to climb quite a lot of very small and narrow stairs. There are no lifts so this isn’t ideal if you have accessibility issues. Small things like water glasses and somewhere to put your clothes would have made a difference.

In my title the reason why I say “surprisingly good”, is because I’ve stayed in numerous London hotels that were of a similar price and they were absolutely terrible. So it was lovely to walk into my room and for it to be modern, very clean, and very comfortable. Small, but so are many hotel rooms & I’ve definitely stayed in a lot smaller. Yes it is somewhat basic, but you get what you pay for, and in this price bracket this is the best I’ve found (and I stay in London almost every month at least once). I was initially put off by the fact that there is no reception at this hotel and you have to check in at the sister hotel - The Beverley Hotel just around the corner. I’m glad I wasn’t put off by this because it’s not too much of an issue as both hotels are very close to each other (roughly just a three minute walk). The Eaton Townhouse appears to just have eight rooms, so it makes sense that it’s not manned 24/7 with a reception. I get it and I wouldn’t pay for reception staff either if I had another larger hotel just around the corner. For me, the location is always very important. This hotel is just behind Victoria Station, so it’s extremely convenient for rail, tube/underground, buses, & taxis. I find it particularly useful when flying in to Gatwick and getting the train to Victoria. I can then just walk around the corner to off load my bags (even if it’s too early to check in you can still leave your bags at The Beverley Hotel. I arrived very early, many hours earlier than the normal check-in time, & I was still able to go to my room without any delay). All in all, for the price, you would find it very hard to find a better option. I will definitely stay here again.
