Travelodge London Covent Garden

Very functional - great location, less than 5 minutes from centre of Covent Garden. Breakfast for kids for £1. If it is location you are chasing then you won’t go too wrong. Very central location. Only down side is the Air Con could be a little better but with a fan in the room absolutely no hassles. Might become a slight issue in high season

Really good location .. very close to lots of lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Fantastic bar and restaurant areas. Rooms very comfy and clean. Particular mention to Zefe who was the smiliest, loveliest person .. it makes all the difference 😄

The location of this hotel is excellent, around 5 minutes walk to Covent Garden and close to the West end for shows. The rooms themselves are compact but clean and comfortable. There is a pleasant bar/restaurant area which, as well as breakfast, also serves food from lunchtime onwards. The breakfast is buffet style and of reasonable quality. And finally the crowing star of our stay was the staff who were all very pleasant and focussed on making your stay the best it could be. If you're staying in London this could be a good choice to stay. We will be back

Great location for west end theatres, excellent breakfast and superb staff. Really rate this hotel 10 out of 10. Nothing was too much trouble. With free baggage storage on site what's not to like. Make that 11 out of 1 nearest tube is Holden, 10 min walk max.

The good things: Clean room and friendly greeting when we checked in. Well situated. Quiet. Air con meant room temp was good. Not good: Despite check out being at midday, a member of staff tried to enter the room at 9:30am and spent several minutes quizzing my husband about why we were still there and said that the room showed as empty (I don’t know why). My husband had to state 3 times that obviously it was not empty and that we would be checking out by 12. The same staff member then tried to let himself in again just after 11am by which time I was alone in the room and had to be reminded again that we would be checked out by 12. I ended up then checking out earlier than needed as I felt uncomfortable and couldn’t relax in case he returned a third time. This would put us off staying here again.

Covent Garden Travelodge was well located for a trip to a London theatre. 12 noon checkin / checkout and hotel bag storage very useful. But the hotel is pretty basic so don’t expect much. Staff very friendly. Hotel had a good bar. Also breakfast at the hotel is possible but you might consider skipping that and eating at one of the many small cafes in the area.
