Lovely hotel. I love the decor, very beautiful and the signature of a Firmdale hotel. Great breakfast in the morning. Afternoon tea is also great. Fantastic cocktails at the bar in the evening - it is buzzing. The spa is good too. Would love to live here full time...

My one star review of 20 July 2024 does not appear to have been published. In short we arrived just before 10.30pm which is time for last orders and asked for a table outside for drinks. We were told we were too late but could be served inside. We were shown to a table and waited a few moments when a waitress said orders had stopped. We advised that we could order inside but she was abrupt so I spoke to the first waiter who was very apologetic who tried to organise another table. By that time, we had enough and left. In our view the waitress needs to improve her hospitality skills. Sum up...clock watchers!!

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel! If you are looking for an upscale, trendy hotel in a wonderful location, this is your spot. The service is impeccable, from small details like milk and cookies left for our daughter to the concierge returning our call at midnight. The restaurant, grounds and hotel are well taken care of with carefully curative artsy design details. Gorgeous, spacious rooms that make you forget you’re so close to a bustling city. The hotel is nestled away in a quiet corner of a hip area. Very walkable to great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We felt extremely welcomed with our daughter but my husband and I can’t wait to go back and enjoy an adults trip soon!

Absolutely exceptional service from the staff who made us feel very special from the word go. Nothing was too much trouble for them; very attentive, regularly checking that everything was okay. The tea and food itself were great - we had the Wimbledon tea. Cakes were delicious. This is an outstanding hotel. Loved the whole experience. Highly recommend. We will definitely return.

My husband and I attended the Ham Yard for another wonderful afternoon tea. Our experience was made more exceptional being served by the very nice waiter Leon. We often go to the Ham Yard, we will be returning soon thank you and looking forward to our next visit.

Evening dinner in the restaurant was absolutely superb. The setting was beautifully designed allowing for intimacy despite being a busy Friday evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and again, although busy it was possible to enjoy conversation without the noise that spoils many venues. The staff were excellent, friendly and incredibly efficient, Special thanks to Bishwa who was attentive without being intrusive, very friendly pleasant manner and clearly taking a pride in his work. The food and wine splendid . All courses clearly reflected quality ingredients and skilful preparation. I seldom write good reviews, but this experience was exceptional and made for such an enjoyable experience.

I have been able to stay at a number of the Firmdale Hotels over recent years, and eat regularly at their restaurants. This was my first stay at Ham Yard, on a weekend in London with my spouse. Having had positive experiences at their other establishments I was slightly apprehensive about trying a new one. I need not have been. Our experience was excellent. From our greeting at the front door and reception, to our treatment in the restaurant at breafast, and requests of room service. There are always plenty of staff available to attend to guests' needs - all of whom are friendly and clearly enjoy working at the Hotel (the gentleman who came to collect our room service tray was very chippa, and we commented on this. His response: "I love working here!" - how often do you hear that?!). The decor of the hotel is amazing and everything is maintained in excellent condition. There is impressive attention-to-detail, and nice personal touches to note special occasions or return visits - all which make your stay feel extra special.

I attended an event at the Ham Yard hotel in May 2024. The food was unbelievable and the event ran extremely smoothly with great facilities and support from the onsite staff. The team that went over and above though was concierge and in particular Patrick. What amazing service and support. Thank you very much and look forward to seeing you again soon. Thank you

Absolutely outstanding! The relaxed atmosphere, comfortable surroundings, and chairs that don't cause backaches are all wonderful. The service was excellent and allowed us to sit quietly but still be attended to if we needed anything. We had afternoon tea, which was very delicious. Sandwiches were made to our tastes and allowed for changes. Scones were served hot, and the little cakes were delicious. We took doggie bags home.
