The "Guest House" Which was just a room was situated in a very opressive area, lots of noise, people hanging around on the street corner etc etc. The room itself was, well, grubby. Wardrobe padlocked so we couldnt hang clothes. floor full of bits of dirt and fluff, obviously not been cleaned before our visit. Bed linen had stains and hairs so we just slept on top. Sat on the edge of the bed before sleeping and noticed the bogie that someone had wiped on the side of the fireplace. Window blinds were supposed to be green but had brown staining along the bottom and were filthy. Toilet had no loo roll and was stained and filthy. Toilet seat was nearly falling off. Were told breakfast was included but there was no breakfast, kitchen was a disgrace and filthy. Outside the room all the doors, walls and other bits we touched were sticky and looked like they had never been cleaned in years. . Carpets in hallway were completely badly stained. Didn't even check the shower out but left as soon as we could in the morning as couldn't wait to get out of there as we felt dirty after staying there.

It’s good, that the hostel is cheap, just like the area around. And it’s relatively central. But when it comes to the hostel it self, our experience was terrible. We checked out one night before we had to because we felt really unsafe. The hostel is located in a side street, where nearly no one is around, only scary man walked at night. All in all the conditions in our room were relatively okay, but on the floor it smelled like mold and we saw it in the two bathrooms and also the ground (carpet) was dirty. The breakfast that was inclusive, is just a scam. We get only old Cornflakes in a stale can. The kitchen was also not in a clean condition, so we didn’t want to use the kitchen…it was too disgusting. The rooms are alert, so you felt like sleeping on the street. You could understand every single word that was spoken on the street in front of our apartment. We will never go in a hostel again, but it’s you’re decision. And not to forget, people fighted in front of the hostel, they seemed extremely aggressive. That really scared us. But the most terrifying thing, was that someone knocked loudly at the front door and also aggressively at our window. For more than one hour, so we didn’t want to go out so we had to change our plans and had to stay inside, it was too scary. In the end we had to call the police.

We were woken up at 5am by a guy trying to break in in our room. He must have had the entry code himself, since he was inside the building. He claimed he had booked the same room for himself and was repeatedly hitting the door with punches and kicks, trying to lure us into opening the door shouting at us, very sketchy and dangerous situation. We tried to reach out to the owner on every platform (including the emergency number that was left at the entrance of the building), who instead did not pick up. Ultimately, the guy only left the building once we threatened to call the police. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

There is no staff anyone can enter your room. The room is completely different to what they advertise. The mattress was old, room smelly. The shower no where to change and on different floor then your room and toilet as well. It was dirty, uncomfortable and expensive experience. They said breakfast is included and it's only cereal and coffee or tea. They charge too much is a joke. We paid £47 for Wednesday night. Never again !!! Is just a simple room small and smelly not a guest house at all.
