Great location, for a weekend getaway!
Amenities are also decent, including a spacious shower space, in comparison to other hotels of similar price points.

The free Wi-Fi is practically unusable—you can’t even browse the web, check emails, or load WhatsApp messages. To get a decent connection, you’re forced to pay an extra £5. Unfortunately, mobile data coverage is also very poor (hopefully not being restricted by a jammer). They advertise a “full range” breakfast, but basic items like regular cheese are missing.

Hotel is perfect for sightseeing as it is 5 minute walk from river and close to underground and 2 main line stations. Many places within walking distance. 2 supermarkets beside the hotel. Staff are friendly and the cooked breakfast is good. We stayed for 6 nights and had a quiet room on the 6th floor.

Simply everything about this stay was spot on, if I needed to stay in that area again I would not hesitate to book Southark Premier Inn, brilliant x I only wish we could have stayed a couple more nights. Staff very helpful, very modern and clean hotel, brilliant 💜

Great location short walk from train station . Lovely decor ,very clean and lovely rooms at a great price . Breakfast had plenty of variety and overall food was very tasty .Absolutely the best experience I've had in a London hotel . Staff were so helpful courteous and kind. We had a delayed flight and late arrival staff went above and beyond to ensure we were able to have food on arrival .They helped in every way possible . Most definitely will return .

We stayed at the Premier Inn Southwark Tate modern as we were going to the O2 for C2C and wanted to stay close enough that travel was easy. There are a few Premier Inns in Southwark this one is pretty much across the road from the Tate modern, you see it before you notice the Premier inn. We paid for a plus room, which comes with the Ultimate WiFi, a Nespresso machine and pods, a fridge with water, extra space with table and chairs, all of which we used and enjoyed. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Southwark tube station and about 10 minutes walk to London Bridge tube and train stations. Southwark is an enjoyable part of London to stay in and has some lovely places to go and is easy to get to major events as the tube goes directly to Wembley or the O2.
