Longsheng Hotels with Airport Shuttle

This was a local hotel that was situated on a peak facing Jinfoding (Golden Buddha Peak), so note it’s not on Jinfoding itself but still in the same area of Jinkeng Dazhai. I hired a driver via the hotel to fetch me from Guilin Airport to the hotel. Journey took about 3 hours using local roads, if you can somehow negotiate with your driver to take the expressway from the airport, it will be about an hour shorter and less scenic but also less nauseating. Access to hotel is pretty limited unless you hire a driver or you drive. If you take the bus from Guilin downtown/Airport, it will only alight you at the Dazhai parking lot, and you still need to make transport arrangements to get to the hotel within the scenic area (anywhere between 20-40min drive) but the boss is helpful and very contactable (phone call or wechat). I wouldn’t recommend walking to the hotel cos it is situated at the top of a pretty steep hill and it is a one-car lane that goes both ways with many blind spots. At the hotel, you could choose to walk and hike the terraces to other viewpoints in Jinkeng, but note that the routes will be very long and exhausting. If you plan to visit other villages like Ping An Zhai, it’s about an hour’s drive away on mountain roads, and it’s best if you hire a driver as well. Overall, room was very clean and spacious and was true to trip.com description and pictures. Very comfortable, clean and scenic stay! Shower and toilet are separate and clean. There’s a bathtub situated right behind the bed, they provided disposable bathtub liner if you want to use it. Hotel is situated near one of the viewpoints in Jinkeng, but it was very misty on the day I hiked. From what I could make out through the mist, the views seem pretty epic. View from the room is great and the boss provided a welcome sweet rice wine drink with lunch which was great! The boss gave me some luohanguo as a souvenir when I checked out! Did I also mention, breakfast provided included a jar of fresh warm soy milk and a delicious bowl of rice noodles made to order! Will stay again in future!

I booked two rooms with my friend. My friend's room has an indoor swing, which she was very satisfied with. This B&B is highly recommended. The interior decoration is very beautiful and the outdoor scenery is also very beautiful. The owner of the B&B is very warm and helped us arrange the subsequent itinerary and gave us sweet wine. My friend said that he would choose to stay here again next time he comes.

The food is delicious and the per capita price is reasonable. The pictures were taken in the hotel. When the boss is in the store, you can also order coffee. The location is within easy reach of the No. 1 and No. 2 observation decks. The room price is also ok. There is a small slope to the hotel, which is short but convenient. After all, it is in the mountains. Overall, I am very satisfied with it. It is suitable for friends who drive themselves (park at Yunjing Parking Lot). At the same time, it is recommended that friends who drive themselves, if they have enough time, can first go to the Dazhai parking lot, visit the Golden Buddha Peak, and then check in to the No. 2 and No. 1 viewing platforms, so that they will basically repeat the mountain road less. Of course, the strategy depends on personal preference. All in all, this stay experience was generally good.

This visit was the second for us during our time living in China. The inn we stayed at last time has closed down but we love this village and location on the terraces so found this hotel listed on Ctrip to stay at - we were so lucky to find it, it was absolutely perfect. The lady running this hotel is so welcoming and helpful, no request was refused - a big thank you to her!! The hotel itself is in a great location for seeing the best viewpoints around the terraces. The restaurant is so great - we are vegetarians and they cooked delicious food for us every day. The rooms are huge and clean, very comfortable beds and very nice bathroom - but the best feature is big windows with amazing views over the terraces. I am lying in bed looking at the terraces while I write this and it is so peaceful, I can hear only a few voices and birds chirping. I love this place so much - you will too!! Very highly recommended.

I am so happy to travel to Guilin! I happened to come to Midu and I was not disappointed! Facilities: The view in the room is super beautiful, the panoramic room is great for taking pictures, all the necessary facilities are available, and they are all automated! Hygiene: Every detail is clean and very comfortable! Environment: Not only the room is beautiful, but you can see the terraced fields when you open the window outside, which is also super beautiful! There is one pick-up and drop-off each at Dazhai parking lot and No. 2 Observation Deck. If you want to go to Longji Rice Terraces, the boss can pick you up and drop off for free, which is really great! You can also experience taking photos in Yao costumes in the terraced fields: the Amo people are also super nice! The food here is also freshly fried, very delicious, not overly surprising, and very cost-effective!

What a gem! A central location in the Dazhai village to be able to fully enjoy the Longji rice villages. Balcony view kept you connected with the village while relaxing in your room. Instant hot water for the shower and nice connected bathroom. The owners of the hotel were very accommodating and were able to answer all of our questions with kindness. On our way in and out we were taken by car, although walking from the parking lot to the hotel is also a quick option. Finally, we ordered dinner in the room the last evening and were surprised by how well the food was made and also the large portions served. No complaints!

I saw this place was mentioned on CCTV, so I came here specifically to take photos and relax. I've never been to a karst landscape before, so I was really looking forward to it. I took the bus in and saw a road with waterfalls hanging over it for the first time. It was quite spectacular. The owner picked us up at the parking lot, and we chatted. He's a local and has run this old house for over a decade. The air is fresh, perfect for retirement. The mountain spring water for cooking, tea, and washing is icy and slightly sweet. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows face terraced fields. I was too lazy to leave the room, so meals were delivered to my room. The rice wine was delicious. The rice paddies were nearly a meter tall, and the slightest breeze felt like the wind blowing through the wheat fields. It was a complete soothing experience.

Our stay at the hotel was great! The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They also respond very quickly to all your questions and you can easily reach them via WeChat. They helped us to book a direct bus from Guilin to Dazhai and from Dazhai to Yangshuo. The pick up and drop off service from the Dazhai parking lot is quick and efficient, we were really happy that we didn't need to walk up the hill with our heavy luggage. The room is clean, spacious and luxurious. The breakfast is really good. We also ordered food for dinner twice and it was delicious! We also got some very good rice wine and tea with the dinner. We're travelling in China for a month and this was definitely our best stay of the entire trip!

The hotel enjoys a very beautiful terraced field landscape. In the private room at the entrance of the hotel lobby, you can enjoy the terraced rice during the day and listen to the frog sounds at night. It is very comfortable and cool. The room is clean and sanitary, especially the window in the room. Once you open it, you can see the unbeatable terraced field view, which is particularly healing. The hotel brother was warm and welcoming, took us to park the car, and sent us to take the cable car to the observation deck. Our two children quickly became friends with the dog in the homestay and had a great time. There are many delicious drinks at the bar at the front desk of the homestay. The five-fingered hair peach chicken hotpot for dinner is delicious. It is worth recommending and worth coming again!

Some advice for the new kids❗️ If you have time to visit the Longji Rice Terraces, it is recommended to stay one night there~ You can also enjoy the view in the hotel You can also have a good rest and visit other villages the next day💯 The B&B I booked this time is near the Golden Buddha Summit at Jinkeng No. 3 Observation Deck. It’s very convenient to walk for 5-10 minutes~ The view from the balcony is really nice~ Equipped with a bathtub🛁Who else is taking a bath while looking at the terraces🙌 Breakfast is very classic Guilin rice noodles🍳 The boss is also very enthusiastic ❤️🔥 He saved us a lot of trouble by including transportation up and down the mountain👍
