Booked a room for a friend, . Wasnt to thrilled with the tub needing to be reglazed. The paint was chipping off in 2 spots. Also upon entering the room, there was a dried stain from some sort of leaking substance at the entry of the doorway. You could see the trail outside leading into or from the room.

I received the warmest welcome from the front desk folks when I arrived. It was 1 a.m. due to a flight delay, and they were energetic and lovely. The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing. It took less than 10 minutes to walk to Ovation in the heart of the action, and I felt safe walking to and from the hotel early in the morning and after dark (10 p.m.) because the area is so active. The lobby and my room were very clean. There are several vending machines with lots of options, but none accepted cards, so be sure to have some cash (which I never have). The laminate wood flooring in my room was in desperate need of replacement, but the bed, furniture, and bathroom were spotless. The hallway leading to the rooms was also in need of TLC, and it was noisy at all hours (as was my room). The hotel was fine for my short stay. I am a very seasoned traveler and did my research so I knew what to expect. I definitely got what I paid for. However, it did feel a bit sketchy at times. I heard questionable noises coming from some of the rooms and ran into a few unsavory individuals. I wouldn't recommend it for other solo travelers, particularly those who identify as female. I practiced all my solo travel safety techniques during this stay, so just be prepared if you do stay there.
Motel 6 Lomita, CA: Budget-Friendly and Convenient
Motel 6 in Lomita offers a no-frills, budget-friendly option for travelers. The location is convenient, with supermarkets and other amenities nearby in a decent neighborhood.
It's important to manage expectations: this is an older motel, and you're paying a significantly lower price point. Therefore, don't expect stellar service or luxurious rooms. Think of it as a place to rest your head without breaking the bank. As the saying goes, every penny spent is every penny's worth here.
If you're looking for an affordable and conveniently located option in Lomita, and you prioritize budget over luxury, Motel 6 could be a suitable choice.
Decent for a Quick Stopover
This is definitely a budget motel, but for the price, it does the job. The common area was clean, though it had a bit of a musty smell. The room itself was a pleasant surprise—clean, decently sized, and more comfortable than expected. It’s nothing fancy, but if you’re just looking for a place to crash for the night, this could be a good, affordable option.
No breakfast, the motel is very convenient, there is a large parking lot opposite, you need to go upstairs to live on the second floor, if you have luggage, you must go upstairs, simple and comfortable, but no coffee machine
No breakfast, free on-site parking, poor soundproofing, and the ability to hear the sound of the next room. The main reason is that the hotel was not booked in advance during the summer vacation. The hotel was only found that night, but the price was 204 knives, which was super expensive, but there was no way.
This trip to the United States for 20 days, except for the poor Chinese hotel, the others are very good, it is a motel, safe, convenient, there are refrigerators, microwaves, bath products, 2 large beds, it is very good.

AAlyssaAmazing room. Extremely clean and comfy bed!!
MMingKaiThe environment is clean and tidy, the location is very convenient, easy to stay, the price is reasonable, I will come again if I have the opportunity
RRichardLocation is very convenient as there is a free shuttle bus which sends hotel passengers to the airport. This motel surpassed my expectations as I didn’t expect a motel to be this spacious and clean too. Reception staffs were friendly and helpful. Free coffees and tea were given at reception floor too.

SShauna annWas a clean room but was over booked. I reserved a quad room ended up in a standard without a fridge or microwave. So got expensive for the week for me. But the staff was awesome.
ZZHIXINGThe second time I stayed at this hotel, the location is very good, the exit is high speed, there is a gas station next to it, and you must rent a car to come to the United States. There are several plazas nearby, restaurants in different countries, Fengqi by people

GGuest UserHotel room 301 had a nice shower with great water pressure, handrails, seatstool, hand-held shower head, and generally big bathroom. Microwave and fridge in room. Overall nice and cozy as expected from a motel 6!! Plus many breakfast items for purchase in lobby e.g. muffins, ice cream, burritos, etc.
