Hello, Welcome to our homestay!
We are a young couple from the Maldives with a two-year-old son. We love hosting travelers in the spare room of our apartment and offering a unique opportunity to experience everyday life with a local Maldivian family.
Most of our guests stay for one night during their transit before continuing on to their vacation island or resort. We enjoy getting to know our guests, sharing local tips, and helping arrange tickets for speedboats or public ferries. We're also happy to assist you in exploring Malé, the capital city of the Maldives.
We love traveling and try to visit a different city in China each year. So far, we’ve explored Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Anhui, Hunan, Guizhou, and Suzhou. We’re always happy to welcome guests and look forward to building lifelong friendships.

Stayed at Saii Lagoon Hotel in the Maldives recently, and it was amazing!
- Easy transport: Just a 15-minute speedboat ride from Male Airport—no tiring long trips.
- Stunning views: Crystal-clear water with fish and coral visible. The white, soft sand feels like walking on clouds, and the sea blends perfectly with the sky.
- Great accommodation: I stayed in an overwater villa, spacious and bright with a tropical wooden design. Big floor-to-ceiling windows offer sea views right from bed. The private terrace has a ladder to the sea—so convenient for a swim!
- Delicious food: Multiple restaurants with global dishes. The main restaurant’s buffet has fresh, juicy seafood; local curry chicken is flavorful; Italian pasta is authentic and tasty.
- Fun activities: Snorkeling lets you see colorful fish and coral. Try surfing for excitement or fishing for relaxation. The spa is perfect for unwinding.
- Fantastic service: Staff were warm from check-in, helped with luggage, and answered questions quickly. They even remembered my favorite drink—felt like home!
Highly recommend Saii Lagoon if you’re visiting the Maldives. You won’t be disappointed!

The staff were very polite.
The hotel's location is super convenient for the airport, and there are many dining options nearby.
The rooms come equipped with a safe, iron, cups, kettle, water, hairdryer, and toiletries. The beds are good, and the linens are clean.
There's no elevator in the hotel, but our luggage was brought up to the 4th floor by the staff.
I would consider staying at this hotel again if I'm looking for a place to stop over in Male.

AAnonymous UserWhen I first arrived, I booked a cheaper hotel and barely slept that night. Although I spent nearly 1,000, it felt like I was staying in a 100-dollar hotel. The service was fine, but the rooms were small and crowded together with no soundproofing. Since I couldn't return due to flight restrictions, I had to stay a day, so I decided to stay in a star-rated hotel. While the hotel isn't new, it's very clean overall. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The shuttle service was a great help. Since we had a late flight, they gave us an extended check-out, which was a huge help since we have children. They even provided plenty of water. Overall, I highly recommend it. Even after traveling, it's important to consider how to make your stay more comfortable.

MMadhusha MendisOcean Grand Hulhumalé gave us a truly comfortable and luxurious stay. The hotel is modern and well-maintained, and our room was spacious, clean, and stylish with all the basic amenities provided.
They offered complimentary pick-up and drop-off to the airport or any location in Hulhumalé, which made our travel so convenient. The breakfast spread was excellent—with a good variety and great taste. Definitely one of the best quality breakfasts we had during our stay in the Maldives.
The hotel has a lovely lobby and a rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. While the amenities could be improved a bit more, in terms of overall quality, this is without a doubt one of the best places to stay in Hulhumalé. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe standard of the domestic guest house, the sheets have not been changed, and the hair is on it. I was awakened by prayer after 5 o'clock in the morning. The sound is loud, the broadcast is like, there is no pick-up and drop-off service, and the taxi is 225 local currency one way, equivalent to more than 100 RMB, it is more than 4 kilometers, about ten minutes away! A bit pit!

TTyconlySince I arrived late in the evening, I only stayed for one night. The beach and ocean are right across the street, but my room didn't offer a sea view. At over 400 RMB a night, it really felt more like a basic Chinese guesthouse. It was reasonably clean, and the facilities were quite ordinary, which I could tolerate.
However, after I came back from dinner, the power went out within five minutes. Since it was a walk-up building (no elevator), going downstairs to find staff was exhausting. They had just arrived when the power cut out again after only a few minutes. This cycle of power outages happened multiple times throughout the night. Eventually, we were left without power, it was sweltering hot, and I was constantly bitten by mosquitoes. I was already exhausted, and this was truly the last thing I needed.
With no electricity, I couldn't even take any photos of the room. I absolutely do not recommend staying here.
After getting home, I complained to the booking platform and demanded a 50% refund. They initially offered 100 RMB, which I didn't accept. Eventually, they agreed to refund 200 RMB, and that's how it was resolved.
Honestly, this was the worst hotel experience of my life. Being hot and constantly bitten by mosquitoes in the middle of summer was just unbearable.

VViper99Huvan Maldives is the kind of place that makes it hard to leave. The water is unbelievably clear, the villas feel private and calm, and everything runs at a relaxed pace. Staff are genuinely warm and attentive without being over the top. Breakfast had some variety every day, so you didn’t have to eat the same thing . It is perfect for switching off, slowing down, and just enjoying where you are. A beautiful, peaceful escape that feels special from start to finish.

ルルームこきみThe room was good. Very clean and comfortable. The shower drained well. The sheets and bed were OK. The problem was that the shower water temperature was not stable and there was no hook for the shower head, so I couldn't wash my head with both hands. The hot water sometimes came out and sometimes didn't depending on the timing. It would be helpful if they provided a service such as an adapter for overseas electrical plugs. The biggest problem was the attitude of the staff! Very bad. There was no support for carrying luggage, and when I asked, they just ran away. The man at the front desk did not think that his job was to serve customers. Communication would have gone well if he had explained things slowly and calmly, but he got angry and confrontational, his language was rough, and it was extremely unpleasant. It is very important to improve for your sake. I think they should receive hospitality training.
