Well located hotel for my business trip and good facilities.
Lovely large room, comfortable and quiet. Good for short stay.
Just small bits of feedback...I was given a disabled room and thought the emergency pull was located too close to the toilet roll holder but loved having a large wet room style shower room.
I found the sheets a tad hard and duvets too hot for me so a blanket would have been handy.
I'd stay again and recommend it as overall ticked a lot of boxes.

I recently stayed at the Britannia Hotel in Manchester and wanted to share my thoughts.
Location:
The location is definitely one of the hotelâs strongest points. Itâs super accessible to all forms of transport, whether youâre arriving by train, bus, or tram. Itâs right in the city center, so you can easily explore Manchester without much hassle.
Parking:
The parking arrangement is convenient if youâre driving, especially with free parking between 8 pm and 8 am. Outside of those hours, youâll need to pay, so keep that in mind if youâre staying for longer stretches.
Hotel Condition:
This is where the hotel shows its age. The building is very old, and while it has some charm, it could definitely use an upgrade. You can feel the wear and tear in the common areas and some of the rooms.
Rooms:
The rooms are a mixed bag. The basic rooms are just thatâbasic. Theyâre not particularly comfortable, and if youâre picky about where you sleep, you might feel underwhelmed. However, if you go for one of the upgraded rooms, the experience is much better. Those rooms feel cleaner and more inviting.
Breakfast:
Breakfast is a solid deal at just ÂŁ9. Itâs not a luxury spread, but it gets the job done. Youâll find the usual options for a budget-friendly hotel breakfast.
Staff:
The staff are a highlight of the hotel. Theyâre very kind and helpful, making you feel welcome from check-in to check-out.
Value for Money:
Overall, this is a budget-friendly hotel, so you do get what you pay for. If youâre looking for a no-frills place to stay in a central location and donât mind the dated vibe, it works. However, if comfort and modern amenities are a priority, you might want to explore other

Stayed here for 2 nights with spouse.
Pleasant hotel with great staff. Clean rooms, breakfast good but would be great if a choice of egg was available instead of scrambled eggs only.
Was conveniently located for where we had to go in Manchester.
Wifi worked very well. Free hot drinks available 24/7.

This was such a nice hotel! Highly recommend. We booked for two nights and because the first night had some pipe issues, we had to switch rooms in between the two nights. We did get complimentary breakfasts for the two days though, so that made up for it.
Both rooms were super nice and clean, the hotel has been around for years and you can totally feel and experience the history! But they kept it up-to-date so theres a modern side to it too (such as the washrooms are all newly renovated).
Would really recommend the breakfast as well because not only is the food great, the overall restaurant and bar area is gorgeous. This is also a pet friendly hotel so we got to enjoy seeing some furry friends too!

Nice clean room and modern clean shower room. The hotel is in a good location and within easy reach of the city centre. Quite a good buffet breakfast but the restaurant area is quite small and gets very busy so best to avoid peak time.

When we got to the hotel they couldn't find our booking and said it had been cancelled, they sorted it out straight away though, upgraded our room for free and got housekeeping to come and split the beds for us within 5 mins of us getting to our room, due to the misunderstanding.
We tried the restaurant for food and it was very disappointing. The chicken was bland and watery, the fries were way oversalted and the pasta was OK, but the veggies just weren't tasty, so disappointed.
The breakfast though more than made up for it though, there was a great selection and if you wanted scrambled eggs or something special they made it for you.

Great service at check-in and a special shout out to Mia who is a great ambassador to excellent customer service.
Gave me a quiet room and also went the extra mile and wrote down directions of Manchester United stadium (and tram), even though I didn't ask for them.
Gold star employee in my opinion.

Outstanding
GGuest UserReally happy with decision to stay with Wilde. Mostly impressed with the room, which, was spacious & represented great value for money. Snacks/drinks...etc priced quite high, but, understandably so. That said, given the amenities offered in the room, self-catering is the primary option, with purchasing hotel snacks/drinks, viewed as a distant secondary option. Would happily stay with Wilde again
GGuest UserWe stayed in Manchester for the weekend and The Midland was in a perfect spot for exploring the city.
Both nights we stayed at the Midland there were wedding parties being hosted there, unfortunately this led to not having the best sleep as there was regularly noise coming from other rooms, but when we called reception they did their best to help.
In the morning the staff were extremely apologetic and went above and beyond to make it up to us and said they usually are able to keep the bigger parties staying in the same area so this does not happen.
Lovely hotel, lovely staff, great location!
TTom___I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Brooklyn in Manchester and I'm thrilled to share my experience. This hotel not only met but exceeded my expectations, making my visit truly memorable.
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, we were greeted by warm and professional staff. The service here is top-notch. Every member of the staff was attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They exemplify the essence of great hospitality.
A small yet impactful moment came when we realised we had forgotten our toothpaste. Without hesitation, we called room service, and to our pleasant surprise, before we even got back to our room, the toothpaste was there waiting for us. It's these small details and quick responses that set Hotel Brooklyn apart.
The breakfast at Hotel Brooklyn deserves a special mention. It was nothing short of fantastic. The variety and quality of food offered were impressive. From fresh pastries and cereals to a range of hot food, every item was delicious and well-prepared. It's a perfect start to the day, catering to all tastes and dietary needs.
Our room was a blend of comfort and style. It was well-appointed, clean, and spacious with a cozy and inviting ambiance. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day exploring Manchester.
Hotel Brooklyn in Manchester is a gem. The combination of exceptional service, excellent food, and comfortable accommodations makes it a top choice. I left feeling completely satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Manchester. It's a place where every detail is taken care of, leaving guests with a sense of luxury and relaxation.
In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Brooklyn was nothing short of perfect. It's a hotel that truly understands the needs of its guests and delivers on every front. I am already looking forward to my next visit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality stay in Manchester.
DDeimanteMy room was meant to be with king size bed but we got 2 single beds joined together, the single beds had wheels on them so they kept rolling away from each other. It would also move around when youâd try to get into bed. Beds were super high as well, and when they are on wheels itâs a bit tricky to get into one of them especially if youâre short and overweight. Tv was not working, super old so had no smart hub, so no Netflix or any other platforms, you canât even stream your screen view from your phone. Antenna had no reception so you couldnât even watch any regular tv programs.
Other than that, shower was great and clean, everything else in the room was also clean and the room was pretty spacious which I really liked. Location is great, you have an access to a gym.
KKhairahI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel during an event at AO Arena. The location was incredibly convenient, making it a breeze to access the arena. The room provided was spacious, offering ample space to relax and unwind. One of the standout features was the reasonable price, which made the overall experience even more satisfying. Additionally, the self-checkout mini store in the reception area stocked with a variety of snacks was a delightful touch. I found it convenient to grab a quick bite or indulge in some treats without having to venture far. Front desk were super friendly and quick, made the check-in and check out easy. With such positive experiences, I can confidently say that I will choose to revisit this hotel whenever I have another event at AO Arena.
GGuest UserWas my first time at Premier Inn and i was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Since there are two hotels on site, I wasnât sure which ones i was to be in so my Uber driver had to wait while i went inside the hotel. I walked right past the reception desk ( easy to miss bc its so small) and went to kiosk but wasnât being successfully with it. So teh employee at teh reception desk came over and asked if her could help and checked me in in a heartbeat, allowing me to dismiss the Uber driver. Then the same employee not only helped me with my luggage, but took it up in the elevator for me, and the whole time he explained the amenities of the hotel. Once we reached my room, he continued to show me how the key and electricity works, etc. He also arranged for my airport shuttle in the morning. Iâm sorry I canât remember his name but he was excellent on customer service!!!
The room was large and clean as was the bathroom. The TV automatically turned itself on and I had a hard time finding how to turn it off- no instructions or remote, etc. Although I didnât use the coffee supplies, the fact that you had liquid milk/creamer for the coffee was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint was that the bed was too soft and the pillows too hard. I also could have I used a blanket and top sheet but turned on the heat instead to be comfortable. I did not use the restaurant or order any room service.
SSonia ChandyOur overall experience wasnât very satisfactory with this hotel. We got a non-window room, the staff members at the reception had no customer service skills as they wouldnât help with minor inconveniences like providing coffee sachets except the member named Yasar.
The room was very hot and only table fan was provided, no AC option.
The specifications of the hotel do not meet as it says GYM, sauna, etc.
I am an influencer and youtube vlogger, I have a detailed review about the hotel on my channel.
GGuest UserCouldn't find our fully paid booking, 1 room had foam toppers on beds other room didn't very uncomfortable sleep. Having to pay a deposit for a kettle is ridiculous wont be staying again. .
GGuest UserMy man told me the doors locked yet there wasnât any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroomÂ
As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner,
