Riad Fleur d'Orient

We had such a perfect stay at Riad Fleur d’Orient. Let’s start with the Riad itself : beautiful ! It spreads onto 4 floors. 1st floor with the reception, a lounge area and the courtyard with the pool. Gorgeous decoration, the outside was lush. There are lovely flower and citrus trees in the yard around the pool, plenty of outdoors seating spaces, books and games are available if you wish to occupy yourself and there’s fresh flowers everyday on each outdoor table. I believe there are also some bedrooms at this floor. On the 2nd one is where our bedroom was : Dar Rachida. To me, this is the best room and I’m so happy the staff helped me rebook a room as I originally booked another one by mistake. The bed is super comfortable, the room is large, clean and convenient. Lovely AC too for the night. The bed was made everyday by the lovely ladies working there and it was very pleasant to find it so inviting after a day of walking. The 3rd floor was huge. This is the terrace space with different seating areas (a big lounge, some others tables and chairs, more sofas). We loved spending time there as it was so comfortable taking a nap, read, whatever you fancy. It’s well-decorated, spacious and cosy. The last floor is where you can find sun loungers to catch a tan. You can see the Koutoubia mosque from there and the famous Moroccan rooftops. The riad is well situated in the old part of the town, a short walk from all the souks and main touristic attractions. The riad is off the busy streets so it’s very peaceful. It doesn’t feel like other guests are in the way but quite the opposite - it felt as if the riad belonged to us. The breakfast was so tasty. Every morning is different but you will always have cake, Moroccan crepe, a pastry, fresh juice, fresh fruits, cheese, bread, tea and coffee. Everything was fresh and filling. The best part of the riad is the staff. I can’t thank enough Hiba, Hamza (mouzouh), the kind man taking care of us at breakfast (sorry I forgot how to spell your name!), Said and all the ladies cleaning and making food. Everyone was ready to help us with anything we needed, good advice from them, always a nice smile on their faces. We are so lucky to have had such kind hearted people to be around. They all made our stay memorable and I can’t emphasise enough how professional and friendly they were. I wish I never had to leave. Merci tout le monde, de Charlotte et Peter

Thank you Riad Fleur D'orient for the fantastic stay we've had this week. This was a surprise for my wife's 30th birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect so thank you. The vibe, facilities and staff have been nothing but delightful, I recommend anyone to stay here for a cosy and convenient stay here in Marrakech.

This Riad was an oasis of calm and tranquility after the hustle and bustle of the souk and the square. It’s a beautiful Riad and very comfortable. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful in every way. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice. We would definately stay there again.

Our stay in the Riad was just perfect, better than I could have ever expected. The setting and room was just stunning. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The attention and service from all the staff was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel completely welcome and at home. I cannot recommend it enough.

A quiet oasis. Beautifully kept with very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. A quiet oasis only a short walk from the hustle and bustle. Great roof top terrace where a breakfast is served. And a very good breakfast it is. Would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

Riad Fleur D' Orient in Marrakech is fantastic! The cozy rooms and Moroccan vibes make it a special stay. The staff is super friendly, and the location is perfect for exploring. A great choice if you want comfort with a Moroccan touch. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely superb experience staying in this riad. Gorgeous suites with extremely comfortable big beds. Lovely touches like rose petals scattered throughout, and Moroccan tea and pastries on arrival. Lovely sun terrace on the roof with great view of all the rooftops (and very nice to watch the sunrise!). Breakfast provided every morning on the terrace with a delicious selection of fresh bread, pastries, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruits, and eggs. Location was great, situated down a small quiet side road but still being a very comfortable walking distance from the markets/square. The staff here did everything they could to go out of their way to help us, from going with us to a phone shop to set up a phone sim card, walking us to an ATM, or organizing taxis for the airport. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Great Riad with perfect location and wondeful staff. Inner courtyard was beautiful with flowers and Morrocan touches. Staff very helpful and always available. The room was spacious and well maintained. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and the lounge chairs on the rooftop offered a relaxing escape after a long day.
