I would totally recommend this hotel , it’s fresh the location is great the staff all friendly pool was lovely beach was lovely drinks are great but expensive and that goes for food too great but expensive. The breakfast range is outstanding but again pricey. My only gripe was the extra $18 dollars a day per person which we were not told about for using the facilities? And we lost a whole day and night due to our flights being cancelled and they didn’t want to give any refund and wanted to still charge us the $18 dollars per person for the day we were not even there. We did argue this they took it off but refused to refund the night stay for 2 rooms was $500 so a considerable amount to be out of pocket. But if this hadn’t have happened we would not have any complaints.

This hotel is all about the design! Every corner is picturesque and worse Instagram! However rooms are tiny. The pool is great there and everything is in cute pink. You have to walk couple of blocks to get to the beach. And couldn’t find where is the hotel’s beach beds.

Very nice hotel, beautiful decor, very nice setting, very well located 3 minutes walk from the beach (the hotel provides towels at reception). There is no parking on site but they will know tell you where to find one 5 minutes away at $8 for 24 hours. The staff is very warm, thanks to Carlos for his kindness, thanks to Omar and Noah for their welcome. They will be able to listen to you and respond to your requests as best as possible. The bedding is comfortable, the rooms are clean and spacious, the swimming pool is pleasant. Friendly rooftop with deckchairs and gym on the 7th floor on the terrace. Very nice welcome at the bar too. 15 minutes by car from Ocean Drive.

The hotel is not that bad if you want to go to visit Miami Beach. However what always upsets me is the hidden fees. There is a resort fee that is bit really well displayed and this hotel is not a resort. Basically if you stay here for one day the fee will be more expensive than the room rate.

The service was amazing! We were there to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday. My son frequents there for business and highly suggested this property! The food was awesome; just expensive! The hotel was simply beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and cordial. Will definitely return.

My stay at The Gates was very good! The cleaning, the facilities and the location were perfect. They offered a cookie as a welcome that was fantastic! Just two things that didn’t happened as planned was the 35 dollars resort fee per day that I didn’t realize that I was supposed to pay and that the room’s door doesn’t work properly and left me outside of the room for an hour. But, as a compensation, they aloud me to stay an hour later at the check out.

The first room we were offered was dirty (dirty carpet, dirty bathroom and a lot of dust. We went to complain and they gave us a clean one. Service is not good. It depends a lot on the person serving you. The restaurant's exceptional food is fourth. Great pool. Good place.

The street is a bit far from the hot beach street, but it is still walkable. There is also the sea within a short walk! The hotel itself is very pretty and the material is from Santorini.. I met the bar teacher in the room..It's quite sad...If you're careful about that part, the staff are also nice..(But a little bit..the kind of generosity that Koreans don't like.. )

Maybe it was because the price of Ctrip was low. When we arrived at the hotel, I was told that the room I booked was full. The hotel said that I would give me a free upgrade. I was very happy, but when I saw the room, I found that the room was not upgraded. On the contrary, I have a feeling of downgrading. I booked a balcony, but this room not only has no balcony, but also a room facing the platform on the first floor. The room is obviously old. There is a reception on the platform all night, very noisy. This hotel is in the historical district, it is my favorite location, the hotel restaurant is very good, but the management of the hotel is disappointing, the lobby manager and staff make me feel awkward.

perfect location to walk to everywhere. pool & beach area are worth the price alone. poolside service & food was good. some rooms are updated and some are not. we had 2 rooms, one 2 bed updated room that was nice but the pipes made a noise every time the water was turned on. another king bed small suite that was not updated. I enjoyed this room as it had a walk in closet, kitchenette, separate sitting area & partial ocean view. the kitchenette could of had a microwave, would of made it better. overall great stay and would recommend and stay again!
