"We live in Key West and come to Miami every 2-3 months. We have stay at this hotel, the Fontainebleau, or one of the 2 Kimptons for 5 years and always had a great experience at this hotel until this trip. It started at check in The guy at the desk “Carlos” was rude from the beginning. He was a smart aleck about everything. It was my wife’s birthday trip and it was definitely not the way we wanted to start it. Our room was hot and we didn’t have enough towels. We had dinner reservations and were going to see Andrea Bocelli. When we got back the room was still hot but we were exhausted from the day so we went to sleep. At 6:0am it was so hot it woke us up. My wife went to the front desk and a very nice Eloisa was there and helped my wife and they sent someone to look at it after 5 minutes it was working. I asked what was wrong and he said “it had a bubble in it” but acted like he couldn’t speak any more English. The thermostat was on cool and set 60° but the room never got below 74° at 6:00am. When my wife went to ask for a Double Tree Cookie she was told they were no longer a double tree hotel. This is one of the main reasons we stayed there and it has definitely changed. When we got there The Miami Dolphins were playing in Miami and every TV in the awesome bar area was off and I asked “Carlos” if they could turn the game on and was told it was under renovation but there was no sign of construction and if it was it had nothing to do with the tvs in the lobby. The entire vibe here is not what it was the last time we stayed here. This is a great location and one of the only hotels that still has a hot tub “but it only works half of the time”. He was also a **** about the pool towel card policy and said if I didn’t return the nasty reused card I would be charged $25 per card just to get a towel by the pool. If you do decide to stay there and there is a 20 something Spanish guy at the desk come back later for the sake of your peace on vacation."

KKseniia A.A good hotel, but a bit pricey. They also charge a Miami occupancy tax in addition to the room rate. Budget for this; I was charged $200 for four days.
The rooms are clean, but the furniture is old. The closet and bathroom doors were sticky and unpleasant to touch, so I kept them open. The bed is very high, the first time I've seen one so high, but it's very spacious and very comfortable. The pillowcases smelled unpleasant, like dust, which left an unpleasant odor in my hair after sleeping. The receptionists were very friendly, helpful with our luggage, and always smiling. The pool is nice and clean, but I don't think it's heated; it was a bit chilly to swim in in November. The beach is private, but the area isn't fenced off, and it's wide with white sand. Sun loungers and towels are free. There's a bar by the pool, and the hotel staff also serve drinks and food from the menu. Overall, I recommend it.

DDeehanSuperb facilities and location. Rooms exceptional and housekeeping staff great! A workforce (and teams) of two halves - some friendly and helpful, others rude and dismissive of guests - equally felt as if some staff were working harder than others and a lot of ‘standing around’ by the work shy crew members pretending to be busy doing very little. Could be an amazing experience if service (and staff training) was consistent.

Yyuna82We also used the private beach! Please note that service to both the pool and beach ends at 5pm. It was great that there were refillable bottles in the room and water could be refilled anywhere in the hotel! It's more eco-friendly than plastic bottles. We upgraded to a spacious junior suite, which was a great choice! Our family of four had plenty of room to spare. The bathroom was spacious, with a separate shower and chair. The amenities also had a nice scent.
It was easily accessible from the airport, and we arrived in about 15 minutes by Uber for about 3,500 yen!
From our room, we could see the neighboring tower apartment building and the beach.

Yying-taoThe hotel's location and surroundings are good, and the facilities are decent. However, the Wi-Fi is terrible, and the service isn't great. Room cleaning often doesn't happen until late in the afternoon, and when you call the front desk, you just get a lengthy English voicemail.

GGuest UserThe room type should be the most expensive in the hotel. Check-in was delayed until 5:30 pm. The mattress of the king-size bed in the guest room collapsed in half. I complained to the hotel, but the mattress was not replaced in time. Later, I found that the sliding door lock on the first floor of the guest room could not be locked. It was not repaired that night. The lock was replaced the next morning. The coffee cup was not cleaned. You can clearly see the coffee stains on the cup. The round table in the living room was not wiped clean. The sticky stuff on it got on my computer and it was disgusting. Overall, I will not book this hotel next time. Disappointed

JJINGQIANGAt the beach in central Miami, the beach is at the doorstep. The shape is a 50s and 60s building, and the interior is a modern style that has just been renovated. It is very comfortable to live in, and there are fewer restaurants around.

GGuest UserThe hotel was very spacious and with a partial view of the ocean was top! In general, all staff were very welcome (room staff, general reception, small dej...). The swimming pool is very good, quite large, the access to the private beach with transats and parasols is top, as well for the really complete sports room.
The only negative points remain the WIFI not always operational, with a poor general connection ( at the very beginning I was informed that it was due to work ongoing) and breakfast that is not quite varied

GGuest UserHabitación que cumple sin lujos. La atención del personal fue correcta. La ubicación es buena y tranquila por las noches. Tiene parada de trolley en ambas esquina (collins y la indian creek) que te permite moverte por toda la isla gratis. A poco menos de 10 cuadras hay un super grande (publix). A la vuelta tiene un starbucks. Respecto al servicio de resort de playa no lo respetaron. Durante la mitad de la estadía nos dijeron que ya no estaba más disponible, lo cual carece de sentido porque es un servicio contratado que dependía de un hotel que se encuentra a 8 vueltas y está dentro del grupo hotelero. Así lo indica su página web y en las condiciones pactadas por la app. El desayuno es otra cosa a mejorar... daban siempre lo mismo y con pocas opciones saludables (huevos revueltos, salchichas, jamón, papas dorados, pan, mandarina o naranja). En síntesis, es un hotel accesible con buena ubicación pero que no respeta los servicios que ofrece y con un desayuno bastante pobre.

GGuest UserPlace was very nice. Great view. If I had to point out some things. There are some drywall repairs that need attention. Few wobbly pieces of furniture. Bathroom faucet is a bit loose. I’d say invest some time on the aesthetics possibly get a better bang for your buck . Other than that . It was great. Those are my thoughts as I do home repairs for a living. Thank you for the experience and giving us the pleasure to stay at your home.
