EEntengInaMoI’ve stayed in hostels across the world, from Singapore to Hong Kong, Manila to Montreal, Ottawa, and Vancouver, but Generator Hostel Miami truly stands out. The cleanliness and organization of this hostel are exceptional, making it a top choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. The facilities are modern, and the overall atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, perfect for both solo travelers and groups.
One downside is that the hostel has an in-house restaurant, so bringing in food and drinks from outside is not allowed. Additionally, there’s no kitchen available for guests, which might be a drawback for those who prefer cooking their own meals or traveling on a tight budget.
Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, stylish, and well-maintained hostel in Miami and don’t mind dining at their restaurant, Generator Hostel is a fantastic option.

GGuest UserI love this place. There is so much to offer here. They have two great restaurants and a beautiful open outdoor pool area. The staff is very professional and always friendly and helpful. The rooms a very nice and the beds are solid construction bunks with privacy and a little bedside with a place to charge your phone. They have a place to wash clothes.

JJuanno..Great location. Rooms are clean, spacious, air conditioned.. They allow me to do a really early check in with charge. The staff is nice, helpful and professional, specially Nathaly, such an awesome and kind person.

AAndrea MontecinosExcellent room. We were changed without extra charge from a Queen to a king. They were very friendly. Fridge in room, Towels and various products for shower. Looby coffee in the morning. Recommended 🙌🏻

JJhylle MararacStaying in Penguin Hotel is very convenient since it is really closed by at the Beach and nearby outlets. However, when we were checking in the lady who assisted us didn’t explained well the informations. And every night there’s no front desk. But overall stay it’s really good the free breakfast was really good I will definitely recommend.

GGuest UserGreat location. Staff were good and polite. The pool is quite small but good enough for few people. Rooms are specious with good size bathroom. We were happy with our stay. One downside is that was no breakfast included in the price which should be a standard.

GGuest UserThis location is unbeatable, especially to access the beach or volleyball courts. I was impressed by how clean and well kept the showers, bathrooms, sinks were. I wish there were a few more linens (e.g. personal fitted sheet), but it was great to get towels included. EXTREMELY friendly and helpful staff—they made my trip much smoother and helped me avoid hassle. Overall, really happy with my experience. Downsides that the staff can’t help: you’re sharing a room with dozens of people, some of which will snore and disrupt your sleep. Make sure you have earplugs or properly prepare to sleep with loud snoring sounds or people talking at times.

RrealSimonWongHotel elevator was not in service! Our room was on the 3rd floor so we had to walk up flights of stairs with our luggage's.
The room I was in didn't provide cups in the washroom for basic use, brushing teeth etc. The sink was a small pedestal type so it was very tight spaced to even put stuff on.
Location was great though, right at south beach on a one-way road, walkable distance to Collins Ave & Washington Ave to local stores and restaurants. Restaurants along Ocean Dr was expensive but you're here for the scenery!

GGuest UserService was good except when we called to have someone take as look at the door that wasn’t locking and we needed to leave soon. I had to go downstairs after the call we made and waited a long time for my turn. Finally when it was my turn
the person told me he knew about the door but hadn’t been able to check so I told him to change my room because we were running late, and he did.
There were no toiletries at all whatsoever.
The parking is too expensive. As with other hotels, motels and inns etc, it should be included.
Other than that the first person to was extraordinary nice and helped me out.
