Very good place, I want to repeat next year.

I really liked the hot springs with high iron content in this ryokan: I had sore throat for about 3 weeks before the journey, but it recovered just after the first bath. We also liked that family baths are for free if they are vacant (in the evening there wasn't any problem). The staff is attentive, thank you very much. The food was delicious, and there was more than enough for a man. However, we would recommend choosing a Japanese-style breakfast, since frying eggs on a burner is not very convenient. Nevertheless, everything was delicious. As for the drinks for breakfast, there was only coffee from the coffee machine. But there is always green tea in the room (we had problems with the hot pot, so they brought us a thermos). The only thing we did not like was the heating. However, it is unlikely to do anything with it when it is minus 3 degrees outside at night. Without heating, it was very cold, the floor was cold. But the heating is very noisy, and it is difficult to find a temperature balance. We sweated a lot at night under the blankets, and since the shower is not in the room - it is in the onsen, it was inconvenient. Thanks God, we had spare pajamas with us. Overall, for this cost of accommodation we can give 5 points.

Ryokan Yumotoso is in a perfect location in the quaint town of Kurokawa. There are about 12 rooms only, hence its quite a quiet and small establishment. Service staff are all great, and the room view is fantastic looking over the beautiful river. The open onsen also overlooks nature, and private onsens are rustic. As per Ryokans, breakfasts and dinners are included, and so far, we have never been disappointed with food in Ryokans, including Yumotoso. Do note that parking lots are limited, and the lane leading to Yumotoso is rather narrow. Would recommend Yumotoso for its great location, fantastic room view and rustic environment.

I wanted to hide from the crowds of tourists and feel as close to nature as possible. The place is simply magnificent, the location of the ryokan is generally ideal. There is a magnificent view from the window, the sound of the water is very relaxing! A huge plus was the presence of 3 shared onsen (family bath) which did not need to be reserved! Just come and take the ones that are free (They are open 24/7)! In general, the topic of hot springs in this ryokan is a hotel conversation, the temperature is pleasant. 2 open-air onsen (very beautiful with different themes), 2 closed onsen (open 24/7) and 3 shared (private onsen) Kaiseki (dinner/breakfast) was magnificent, we spent 2 hours for dinner and 1 hour for breakfast. There was a lot of food, varied and interesting. Everything was incredibly delicious! In general, we were fed there with: The staff is very polite, they will help, explain, speak English. We asked to leave our things before leaving because we still had a lot of time before the bus and the staff kindly agreed! Thank them again! In general, it was a wonderful trip and a very beautiful place! In the evening, if you are in season, they light the lights on the river and it becomes completely magical!

Very good table dinner, the place and accommodation are very clean, the view is very good, the waiters are also very good, there are several parking spaces at the door, the location is not too difficult to get to, there are shopping and taking photos nearby, I will come again if I have the chance

The open-air hot spring is really comfortable. There are only three family baths, which are easily full at night, so you can only bathe in the men's and women's baths. The breakfast and dinner portions are quite large and delicious. There are foreign employees who can speak English

Very pleasant impressions from staying in this place. Spacious and clean rooms in a traditional style with a view of the river. Very tasty dinner and breakfast (you can choose Western). Family baths are not very big, it is comfortable for two people, if there are three or four of you - it will be cramped. From the ryokan we were driven by car to the bus stop, which was very convenient considering our heavy suitcases.

The room is spacious, the food is delicious, although it is early winter, the room is warm, you can see the river flowing through the window. Guests can enjoy the private bath in the hotel for free. It was the Kurokawa Yumei Festival, and the water surface was lit up at night like a dream, an unforgettable trip.

This is a quiet ryokan located in the center of Kurokawa Village. The village is beautiful and the accommodations are good. The river that can be seen from the window is very pretty and good. The kaiseki and breakfast are also very delicious, so I recommend you to apply and eat them.

Getting to the onsen village is difficult, but it's worth it. The village itself is located in the very center. Unfortunately, no one met us or answered by mail - so they reduced the service. The staff speaks English. Everything is clean and beautiful, the view from the window is amazing. The kaiseki dinner is wonderful, the breakfast is also good. The onsen is good (women's and men's change in the morning), but I recommend buying a pass to 3 other onsen in the tourist center, because there are more interesting onsen. You can't take pictures in the onsen, but ... the photos on the Internet correspond to what is actually there. There are 3 private baths - if there is no one in them, you can go in and use them (no need to book), but the common ones, separate by gender, are better. You can leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out to walk around, if you ask politely.

Very satisfied, the service attitude is very good, the room is very clean. Dinner and breakfast were both very generous. There are very few people in the hot springs and they are usually reserved. There is also a 24-hour private soup. The hotel will also thoughtfully send you to the bus stop. Better than I imagined.

The room and meals were great. Worth coming again.
