Hotel Torifito Miyakojima Resort Reviews

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. However, the soundproofing was really poor. I stayed near the elevator, and several times I was woken up around 6 a.m. by noisy people in the hallway. I could clearly hear them laughing and chatting.

Spacious rooms and very clean. Basic design but good value for money. Location is out of town, you will need a car. But they have car rental on site. Overall it’s great. Just watch out for car parking spaces. They have a secondary car park but it’s 800m from the hotel and you will need to get the hotel van. The road is unsafe to walk on at night as no lights.

The best in town for cheap price. Parking fee cost 500 yen but it was still cheap. Close to airport. Very clean and staffs are really friendly.

The location was good enough. Close to the airport and the car rental service. The weather was not good so we didn’t get to use the pool. The room was filled with ants though.

I have to say that hotels in Miyako Island are really expensive at this time of year. Although the Totifito Hotel we stayed in this time is far away from the city center and there are no supporting facilities around it, the room price is nearly 1,000 yuan. The hotel is a distance away from the city, but it is very close to Miyako Airport, about a 10-minute walk. You can also call the hotel to pick you up after getting off the plane, which is a 2-minute drive. There is an AAA supermarket mall 5-6 minutes away from the hotel in the direction of the airport, with two restaurants, a bakery and MUJI. The supermarket is very large and complete. Solving dinner is not a problem. If you don’t have an international driver’s license when traveling, it is recommended to charter a car. The Miyako Island bus is really inconvenient. I recommend a local taxi charter company, 4,400 yen per hour, for two days. The attitudes of the two drivers are superb. Although they only know a little English, they can communicate very smoothly using translation software. You can ask the front desk to help make an appointment. Finally, I have to say that the sea of ​​Miyako Island is really beautiful.

As soon as I entered the lobby, I was greeted by a lovely aroma. They also provided sanpin tea and detox water, it was very clean, and they offer airport shuttles, so I highly recommend it!

The location is convenient as it is close to the airport. The parking lot near the hotel was full, so we parked in the second parking lot, which was far away. If you call, they will pick you up. There was no explanation about the welcome drink, so we didn't drink it. The bath water was super soft, and it was slippery as if your skin had been in a hot spring. My child complained that the soap in the bath made it slippery. I thought it would have been nice if there was an explanation. We stayed in three rooms, and I was shocked that the location was not a pool, but the room had no view. The breakfast buffet was delicious. When I went to sleep, the sound of doors closing and people entering and leaving was so loud that I couldn't sleep. The walls may have been thin. It was good that the toilet/WC and the bath were separate.

It is very close to Miyako Airport, and the hotel provides free airport shuttle if you make an appointment in advance. Very convenient

We stayed with one adult and two elementary school children, but the room was a little small because there was an extra bed. I think the extra bed was not necessary because we put the two beds together. The scent at the entrance was really nice.

This was my third time in Miyakojima and my second time staying at Trifeet, and it was as clean and delicious as I expected. I would like to use it again when I come to Miyakojima.

It doesn't face the sea, so it doesn't have an ocean view, but it was a very nice hotel close to the airport. There are not many restaurants nearby. Prices in Miyakojima are rising, so I was grateful to be able to stay there so cheaply.
