Great location just under 10-minute drive away from the Volcanoes Park North entrance. We arrived very late and the owner kept the restaurant open to make us some dinner. The breakfast was very tasty with several local specialties like meat buns, yoghurt pancakes, and their own free-range chicken eggs. It all appealed even to our Westerner taste buds! Our favorite breakfast of the trip! The property is not large, but it is very tidy and clean with a courtyard, lawn, paved walkways and lounging areas. The room was exceptionally clean as well - clean floors, clean bathroom and clean white sheets (which is not always a guarantee...). We had a spacious 2-storey loft which our kids enjoyed. Of note - the stairs are very steep to the loft. The beds were quite hard (something we have already come to expect in China), so we used one of the comforters as extra padding. While it was nearly +25 degrees outside, the air conditioning worked great. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend!

First off, the location is truly excellent, a unique advantage. There's a hot spring hotel right next door where you can enjoy a soak. However, the overall management and service facilities are severely lacking! Let's start with the hygiene: urine stains on the toilet seat, hair everywhere you look, and debris falling from the ceiling when you turn on the 'starry sky' light – I honestly don't know what to say. Then there's the service; it feels like there's barely any service at all. For example, regarding the hot spring tickets included in the package, shouldn't you remind guests beforehand to bring their own swimsuits? (Mine cost over 300 yuan!) And for the volcano tickets, shouldn't you confirm guest information and redeem them in advance? (When I was ready to leave and went to the front desk for the tickets, they told me to buy them on the spot, then I had to provide my ID again and go to another ticket office to exchange them. This whole process took a good half hour!) I can accept your high prices, but at the very least, your service and hygiene should match. I hope you see this review and make improvements. Don't disappoint customers who've traveled so far to get here!

After exploring the volcano until after 6 PM, I found a yurt homestay nearby to experience what it's like. I've seen so many movies and TV shows about Mongolian nomads, and today it was my turn to sleep in a place like Princess Huazheng's! I stayed at the Aliwusu Volcano Homestay, which is just a ten-minute drive from the North Gate of the volcano. I chose a yurt with a green interior, matching the color of the grasslands, which felt very fresh. Lying in bed, I could see vast stretches of grassland with cattle and sheep grazing leisurely. The large yurt in the center served as the banquet hall, and its interior was just like what I'd seen on TV – authentic Mongolian style. After breakfast, I went up the mountain to look for agates and was surprised to find that I could see two volcanoes right from there! I also fed the sheep and rabbits. I really love the free and easy lifestyle of the nomadic people.

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel was easy to find, with convenient parking nearby, and really close to the attractions. The room was spotless and tidy, the bedding was comfy, and all the facilities were great. The overall environment was very quiet. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. It offers excellent value for money, and I had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend it, I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!

The yurt-type B&B we stayed in did not have air conditioning, so we relied on the hot kang for heating at night. In a place like Ulanqab, it was too cold at night to take a shower. When we woke up in the morning, there was suddenly no water. It was said that the water supply system was broken. It was repaired, but we had other itineraries and couldn't wait for repairs. In the end, we had to spend money to buy mineral water to wash up. It was a very embarrassing accommodation experience.

This campsite must be reviewed highly, it is so good. Facilities: It has just been opened for a few days, and the facilities are very new. The bedding is very clean. The boss actually uses mattresses in the campsite. It is so surprising, especially the quilt is super comfortable and warm. Hygiene: I am a person who cares very much about housing conditions, especially bathrooms and shower rooms. I didn’t want to take a shower in a public shower room, so I went to visit it first. After the visit, I was surprised that it was very clean, so I took a quick shower before going to bed. Take a hot bath to relieve the fatigue of the day. The boss and all employees are very approachable, speak politely, and communicate like friends. Especially the little beauty Rong Rong, who is beautiful, kind-hearted, super cute and polite. Generally speaking, the most amazing thing about this trip to Ulanqab is not the scenic spots, but this camping trip. As a first-time camping person, I fell in love with it every minute. Environment: The filming location for ”Goodbye My Love,” the surrounding area is quiet, and the residents are all locals, very kind and simple. You can see a shepherd herding sheep right outside the door. There are bonfire activities and fireworks at night. Service: Everyone was very warm and attentive. When we arrived, our room was on the shady side and a bit cold. Worried that our child might get cold at night, the manager kindly upgraded us to a larger room on the sunny side. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Very good! Although this solo trip to Ulanqab was not carefully planned, the food, accommodation, scenery, etc. were just right. Staying at Yaju B&B was beyond my expectations! The room faces the yard with a glass wall. The room is very cozy. The log furniture and warm lighting make people feel relaxed as soon as they enter the door. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and there is plenty of hot water, so you can fall asleep peacefully in peace. The front desk also thoughtfully prepared a local specialty breakfast, and the handmade rice cakes and freshly ground soy milk are amazing! It is a 5-minute walk to the volcanic scenic area, which is highly recommended to friends who want to experience a slow life.
