Very nice hotel to get a good rest after a long train trip. Very clean, lots of things are provided like bottles of water, bathroom items, etc. There is literally nothing to complain about. Happy with this booking.

If you absolutely must stay in a yurt when you come to Ulanqab, choose this place! The owner is such a savvy businessman; the service is impeccable. Even when it was raining at night, they brought our meal to the yurt so we could enjoy it on the heated brick bed – a truly unique experience! The room was spotless, and the starry sky ceiling was so romantic – you could see the stars! I'll definitely recommend this place to all my friends!

We went there to stargaze but that didn't work out cuz the sky was cloudy, and filled with smoke from all the fireworks we and everyone else were launching. I thought I would be disappointed not being able to see the stars and milky way on a new moon but my kids and I had a blast launching celebration balls and other colorful fireworks, and dancing with the locals around a bonfire. Super festive place! And, there's horse-riding nearby. If you do come here for stargazing, the hotels in this area make it too bright for stargazing unless you have a car to drive further to deserted and unlit places.

Im impressed by Atour group of hotels. This one located in Ulanqab didnt disappoint either. Its amentities, decor, cleanliness, service, bed, pillow and facilities are all top notch for a fraction of the price. It really puts Western hotel brands to shame. Almost anything that you could think of, Atour hotel has probably though of it already. They even provide alcohol wipes for sanitary purposes. There is even free self service laundry. Do yourself a favour, when you travel in China, skip the big western hotels and give Atour a go. You will be so spoilt that you wished other hotels has such service and amenities. Im only saying this because i booked Atour hotels by chance a few years back and now that I am back traveling in China, they are even better than before. Its also nearby the high speed rail station, so its convenient as well.

The unique structure of the accommodation and the friendliness of the owner/staff was the highlight of the place. It was a low season towards end of Sep so there were not many customers at the resort, but we were greeted with warm smiles. There is a skyline window that can be opened up to see the night sky and stars, and also provided with Gatlin firework to play which were fabulous! The breakfast in the morning was also great as it is prepared individually so we don't end up wasting food. We booked the double bedroom unit but unfortunately the staff didn't inform us that we had to use the shower separately in order to maintain the hot water and pressure as both showers share the same. Also we were not used to how the air-con/heater works so the temp went up to 31 deg at around 3am and we had to open the side door to let in cold air.

It happened to snow, and the snow scene was so beautiful. The room was warm as soon as I opened the door, so I didn't have to worry about it getting cold. The room not only had a shower, but also a large bathtub, and potato jelly. I didn't eat it at the volcano, but I ate it at the B&B. I recommend it.

My boyfriend chose the perfect place for a date this time! The candlelight in the cave room was so romantic, and the hot spring was carved directly into the volcanic rock, which made my whole body slippery~ The boss suddenly knocked on the door in the middle of the night, and I thought it was something, but he gave me hot milk tea! The next day, we took his SUV to the crater, and took pictures in the strong wind. Even idol dramas don’t dare to shoot like this!

Cleanliness: The cleanliness was so-so. Upon entering the room, I saw a long hair on the tea table, and there was a handwritten label on the bath towel – a bit odd.
Service: The staff's service attitude was okay, but they were a bit overwhelmed with customers, and check-in was a bit slow.
Facilities: I briefly set up the air conditioning for heating, but it wouldn't turn on; I'm not sure if it was a settings issue. The room phone wasn't connected; I had to find the number online to contact the front desk.
There was no welcome gift upon departure, but they gave me one when I asked if I could take the toiletries kit.
Overall, my experience at this Ji Hotel was just average; the details weren't great. I chose this hotel because of its location and the free admission ticket.

A great location from the volcano area. Nice shower and comfortable bed. My room was a ‘mountain view’ but unfortunately wasn’t at all! Actually a view of a freight unit I missed breakfast because I forgot to ask what time it was and wasn’t told, but the tofu and veggie baozi I was given were very delicious!
