Ulanqab Hotels with Parking

The location is very convenient, and parking is easy too. When we arrived around 10 PM, the owner thoughtfully turned on the room heating for us in advance! The service was unbeatable! They even reserved breakfast for us at 10 AM, which was a real treat. We are so grateful to the owner for making our trip to Ulanqab so enjoyable.

An accommodation that exceeded my expectations! The yurts were spacious and clean, with beautiful grasslands just outside the window. The rooms were equipped with air conditioning and electric blankets, making even the cold steppe nights comfortable. The large *kang* (heated bed) was perfect for my child to roll around happily. What truly stood out was the proprietress; she was incredibly warm and friendly, always ready to help. Even without asking, she arranged things perfectly, offering snacks and milk tea, and helping to book various activities, all without any hard selling. For the price, the service was so good it almost felt embarrassing. I also highly recommend having dinner here. The popular restaurants nearby seemed a bit dubious, and I only found out they had a full dining service by asking. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were very reasonable, all enjoyed in a comfortable yurt private room. The previous reviews for this place were spot on, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Excellent yurt accommodation! 👍 It caters to the mid-to-high-end market, so it's a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. I took an early morning stroll around the village and found that among the various options, Huiteng Muguo has a superior location, larger grounds, and cleaner rooms. The family rooms are on the second floor, directly above their own restaurant on the first floor, giving it a cozy, homely feel. The proprietress is a thoughtful person who really values guest experience; she's not one for many words, but she's very attentive – you can try to spot her when you arrive! 😊 There's a bonfire party at 9 PM which is great for bringing people together. My only slight regret is that the village is too brightly lit, with dazzling lights and lots of activity, making it impossible to see the stars as I had hoped.

After looking at several guesthouses and yurts, we finally chose Xingchen Mujia, right next to Huahai Ranch. I was worried my child wouldn't be used to staying in a yurt, so I picked a grassland accommodation with standard rooms, and the environment was very clean. Also, I saw in the reviews that their roast lamb chops were good, and the set menu offered decent value for money on the grasslands. We tried the lamb chops, and they were indeed excellent; our whole family was practically fighting over them! The owners are also very welcoming and friendly. They thoughtfully advised us on what to look out for when dealing with local drivers. The male owner is very talkative and can share many stories about the grasslands. Just a few hundred meters walk from the accommodation, there's a grassland high point where you can watch the sunrise and sunset. We took many beautiful photos there.

First off, the location is truly excellent, a unique advantage. There's a hot spring hotel right next door where you can enjoy a soak. However, the overall management and service facilities are severely lacking! Let's start with the hygiene: urine stains on the toilet seat, hair everywhere you look, and debris falling from the ceiling when you turn on the 'starry sky' light – I honestly don't know what to say. Then there's the service; it feels like there's barely any service at all. For example, regarding the hot spring tickets included in the package, shouldn't you remind guests beforehand to bring their own swimsuits? (Mine cost over 300 yuan!) And for the volcano tickets, shouldn't you confirm guest information and redeem them in advance? (When I was ready to leave and went to the front desk for the tickets, they told me to buy them on the spot, then I had to provide my ID again and go to another ticket office to exchange them. This whole process took a good half hour!) I can accept your high prices, but at the very least, your service and hygiene should match. I hope you see this review and make improvements. Don't disappoint customers who've traveled so far to get here!

The hotel's location is great, very close to the train station. They have a laundry room, a gym, and a small play area for kids. It's not huge, but you can play ping-pong there, which is fun! The lobby also has a piano you can play, which is a nice touch and good for passing the time. When we checked in, we were given two complimentary drinks and a bag of snacks. We munched on them, and they were really delicious! The room was clean, the bed was large, and the view from the window was lovely, with a distant tower visible. Too bad I didn't take any photos. The only issue I found was a slight smell in the shower area, possibly from the drain. When you flushed, it seemed to bring up an odor. But it's not a big deal; the room itself was still very good and clean. The downstairs restaurant was also tasty. Oh, and in the laundry room, there's a machine specifically for washing shoes! We'd been walking in the grasslands for days and our shoes were quite dirty. We thought about washing them but were worried they wouldn't dry in time, so we decided against it. We'll definitely try it next time we have the chance!

The owners are helpful and friendly ladies - knowing we did not have transport , so they arranged transport to-and fro Hohhot. We had free upgrade to double beds as it is low peak month. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and it is adequately heated. They shared us tips how to tour the 黄花沟, send us to the entrance. We had fun with horse riding and had sumptuous dinner. The area has bonfire and anybody can participate in We didn’t manage to have a starry night due to cloudy weather. Will definitely recommend the stay to anybody we want a pleasant stay at the grassland!

Location: Very close to Huanghuagou Scenic Area, and a free admission ticket is included with your stay. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was so-so. Upon entering the room, I saw a long hair on the tea table, and there was a handwritten label on the bath towel – a bit odd. Service: The staff's service attitude was okay, but they were a bit overwhelmed with customers, and check-in was a bit slow. Facilities: I briefly set up the air conditioning for heating, but it wouldn't turn on; I'm not sure if it was a settings issue. The room phone wasn't connected; I had to find the number online to contact the front desk. There was no welcome gift upon departure, but they gave me one when I asked if I could take the toiletries kit. Overall, my experience at this Ji Hotel was just average; the details weren't great. I chose this hotel because of its location and the free admission ticket.

Very good! Although this solo trip to Ulanqab was not carefully planned, the food, accommodation, scenery, etc. were just right. Staying at Yaju B&B was beyond my expectations! The room faces the yard with a glass wall. The room is very cozy. The log furniture and warm lighting make people feel relaxed as soon as they enter the door. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and there is plenty of hot water, so you can fall asleep peacefully in peace. The front desk also thoughtfully prepared a local specialty breakfast, and the handmade rice cakes and freshly ground soy milk are amazing! It is a 5-minute walk to the volcanic scenic area, which is highly recommended to friends who want to experience a slow life.

The staff were warm and hospitable, and even offered helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. The food was authentic and delicious, with genuine grassland flavors.
