I want to be honest, yet give a fair assessment of my experience and thoughts of my stay here.
The hotel was the most popular in town as it’s the biggest one. It does show its age though.
I’m thankful to have been able to stay there as very few hotels allow foreigners to spend the night. The staff were friendly and willing to help with anything that was needed or wanted.
The list of things that could be better is longer than the things I found that were good, though keep in mind this hotel is only busy during holiday seasons thus cashflow is probably limited (to do a makeover). TLC is definitely needed.
The room has high ceilings which makes the space feel much bigger and the layout of the room is great. I was let down by the breakfast experience as there was far too little space for the amount of people the hotel is able to host every night. We had to wait for a table and cutlery. The variety of the food and quality of amenities was poorer than other hotels which I have paid less to stay at and still had a great experience.

I stay here every time I come to Ulanqab. The room is large, clean, with a separate toilet, shower, and bathtub.
There are charging stations in the hotel, and fast charging is very cheap.
