The hotel is located a bit outside of the city, but there is a free shuttle bus to the train station every hour.
AC/heating cannot be operated in the room as it is operated centrally. Could be bothersome for some people, it didn't bother us. The room was spacious and okay, it's a 80s's style hotel. But we had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was nice and there were plenty of options of Western and Asian dishes.
Important : the onsen and spa area can only be used by persons without tattoos!! We didn't know as we checked the website and everything prior to our stay and didn't see any information. We only found out when we received information at check in... Check in was easy, we could even check in at 1:45pm.

Located right next to bus terminal where we take bus to kamikochi and Takayama. Has enjoyed private onsen twice at evening without extra fee. Extra fee for private onsen from 9pm to 6am. Provision of traditional meal sets for breakfast and dinner have been super exceeded our expectations. Valued for money

Remote location but near to shinhotake ropeway.
Very quaint hotel. We stayed in a Japanese room.
We did not have dinner in hotel and have to step out when they make the bed for the evening. We were told we can stay in the room but felt that we got in the way. They were very efficient and it was done in under 15mins. The hotel was small and there were 2 different wings. It’s a bit troublesome to take 2 diff lifts to go to dining area/bath. Front desk was earnest but non english speaking.
The outdoor baths were really nice. You have to take a small single cabin inclined elevator that you operate on your own to get there. Otherwise a short climb/ stairs.
Breakfast was splendid and one of the best we had experienced during our trip. Ingredients were fresh and the portions were just nice.

My husband rated the accommodation experience with the highest rating for this trip.
The location is excellent, just below the Shinhotaka Ropeway, which is very convenient for us with a tight schedule.
The room is a traditional Japanese tatami, and the two meals are amazing. When checking in, you will be informed of the dinner time and restaurant, and you can choose the breakfast time. The restaurant and seats for dining are fixed, which is very considerate.
The food is rich and the dining experience is very good. The open-air bath is great! Bathing in the snow is a choice of life.
The only small suggestion: the air conditioning temperature in the room cannot be adjusted. It is still hot even at the lowest setting. The children and I can't fall asleep, but it will be very cold in the early morning after turning it off, after all, it is a windy and snowy day outside.

Booked a two night stay with two meals. It is 5 minutes away from Hirayu Onsen Station, which is quite convenient. The scenery in winter is very beautiful. There are also open-air hot springs. There are not many hot spring pools, two indoors for female guests and one outdoor. There is no private hot spring pool. The food is still rich and delicious.

There is a free shuttle bus provided by the hotel at the circular parking lot at the west exit of Takayama Station, which is convenient for guests to check in and travel. The hotel's hot springs and restaurants are on the ground floor, and there are also displayed goods for guests to buy.
The reserved twin room is more than 20 square meters, and there is enough space for suitcases. There are many varieties of buffet breakfast for guests to choose from. When checking in, the middle-aged female waiter patiently and carefully introduced it. In short, it is worth recommending this hotel. I will choose this hotel or this hotel in other cities again when I come to Japan in the future.

A small hot spring hotel. I really feel the hotel's care. Compared to more prosperous areas, I prefer this kind of remote small hotel. I feel that the hotel wants to do every place carefully. Although the price is cheap, there are many details. Everything is well done. For example, there is a self-service snack and drink area in the lobby, which is available 24 hours a day. Yukata for children is also provided. The hotel rooms are very clean. I wonder if they have been renovated, so the rooms are very new and clean.

The room was spacious and spacious, making it very comfortable. The free-flowing hot springs in the observation bath in the room were very nice. The only amenities are the provided shampoo set, towel set, and toothbrush, so you need to bring your own, but Samue and tanzen are provided, and the room comes with a hot spring bath, so I think the price is very reasonable. Dinner will be prepared for you if you make a reservation in advance. There were quite a few people staying multiple nights, so I'd like to plan on staying multiple nights next time.
Although there were no Japanese staff, I was able to spend a comfortable time without any problems with polite customer service.
Set amid a beautiful landscape in Okuhida Onsengo hot-spring area, Yamazatonoiori Soene offers beautiful rooms in a Japanese style with river or garden views. The property is 80-munite bus ride from JR Takayama Station, and Fukuchi Yurimizaka (HO41) bus stop is a 3-minute walk away.
Providing a peaceful escape from the city, Mountain Village Iori Soen's rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and refrigerator. All rooms have access to a shared bathroom, while some rooms also come with a private toilet. Slippers and Yukata robes are provided. Some rooms have Japanese-style bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor, while others have Western-style beds.
A set menu for breakfast is provided and Kaiseki (traditional multi-course meals) is available, but will need to be reserved 3 days in advance.
Guests can relax in the indoor and outdoor baths with its natural hot spring water. Kashikiri (private baths) are also available and can be reserved for free.
It is a 15-minute drive to Shin Hodaka Ropeway and a 30-minute drive to Kamikochi area. Mount Norikura is a 60-minute drive from the property.

A trip planned with friends on short notice
It really lives up to its reputation
It is a hotel deep in the mountains
The scenery is beautiful
Although it was fully booked that day, I still felt that the hotel was sparsely populated and quiet
When checking in, there was actually a Chinese guy to greet us
So the check-in was smooth
But it was awkward when it came to dinner. The English of the local hotel staff was so difficult to communicate
But their attitude was very serious. Although there was a menu in English and Japanese, the waiter still insisted on using the translation software to explain each dish in Japanese (but the translation software was really bad, I couldn't understand it at all). I was so touched!!!
The hotel has three places to soak in hot springs (1. The hotel's large indoor bath can be used for bathing. After bathing, you must try the ice milk in the refrigerator in the rest area; 2. The semi-open-air shared bath is a small path. Men and women can enjoy different scenery on both sides in different time periods. The rock pool and the kettle pool are highly recommended. The photo on Xiaohongshu is the kettle pool, but there is no place to wash and go to the bathroom; 3. The lockable bath opposite the hotel, I didn't go there, but it should be suitable for couples) Anyway, it is a place I want to come again next time I come here.

Amazing
CCunminangelaTraditional Japanese hot spring hotel, booked a room with private bath, the room does not have a separate bathroom, there was a shower next to the private bath on the balcony, I felt that I could not take a shower and would freeze to death, so I had to go to the big bath to take a shower~
The service was very thoughtful, very traditional Japanese feeling, but English was not very good, this is also very traditional Japanese hahaha.
The food was very delicious. I have been to Japan so many times, and I can say that this is the best one-night-two-meals meal. It is exquisite and lasts until the next day hahaha
The hot spring is still very comfortable, but the only drawback is that there is not much good scenery, because it is a hot spring hotel on the roadside, it is blocked by a fence, and the open-air bath can only look at the sky, but the stars are very bright, it is still very good.
Overall, it is worth the money, recommended!
PS. People call it Yamanogojuku, not Inoyama Hat😹
GGuest UserThe hotel service is very good! Because of the flight delay and the long customs clearance time, we arrived at the station near the hotel at 9 pm, almost 3 hours later than the original time. The hotel still sent a car to the station to pick us up and left a delicious dinner for us. I was touched and grateful! The hotel is very clean and the service attitude is good! The room rate includes breakfast and dinner, each meal is super rich and cost-effective. In general, it is awesome 👍🏻 Worth recommending 👍🏻👍🏻
KKO AKOThe location is a bit far from the station, and you need to walk a short slope, but because it is at a high position, you can see the entire mountain. Sitting on the small terrace in the room drinking tea and looking at the peaceful vista is very healing. The breakfast is of a normal standard. , not too bad, could be better. The overall layout of the room is okay, but a bit small. The bathroom has a sense of age. You can feel the vicissitudes of life. The service attitude is very good. There are a lot of Japanese comics in the corridor. Overall, it is good.
TTXD1207This time I came to Hirayu Onsen and stayed at Tabist Kaze and Snow Hotel. The room was large and clean. It has three hot springs for family bathing, which is great. Most importantly, it is very close to the ski resort. It takes about 15 minutes to walk there. It was so fun to take pictures of the snow while walking. I had dinner at the intersection after skiing.
GGuest UserIt's a big hotel, but the front desk staff is also kind and will speak to you immediately.
I was able to eat smoothly. I wonder if the young waiter is a part-time job. There were some delicate tricks, but I was able to spend a delicious and fun time. Please do your best. I will change it to support.
I would like to stay with a different plan if I have another chance.
Aamor_cometThe hotel is a 20-minute walk from Takayama Station, and it is uphill, and every time you walk, you doubt your life. After several times, taking the hotel minibus was very fast. I felt that I was at the station in less than five minutes. There is an indoor hot spring in the hotel, so you have to pay for it. So don't be lazy when you book children's shoes for a few days. Because of the mountain, it is inevitable that there are a lot of bugs, and they are still very large. I had a lot of rashes after sleeping for a few days, I don't know if it was a problem with the bedding. If you want to eat at the hotel, inform the boss one day in advance, otherwise you ca n’t eat, the price is normal, and the taste is more ordinary. Compared to hotels in Nara, Osaka, the price is slightly lower.
KKritsapornIt is a hotel where you can experience traditional style of Japanese room and shared onsen. The hotel was clean, both in the room and shared spaces. Amenities provided were sufficient. It is very close to the Hida village (open-aired museum) which is very nice, though a bit far from the city center where located other attractions. So, it is more recommended for those travelers who have a car to drive around.
The breakfasts came in traditional hida style set (i guess), and were delicious, especially the hoba miso.
The staff are nice and friendly too! Love it!
AAnonymous UserIt is a Pet friendly hotel 🐶 You can bring your dog and cat to stay. There is a private outdoor onsen or anyone who wants to take your pet to soak in the onsen as well. And there are many types of rooms to choose from, stone pond or Hinoki wood. The staff are very helpful. Even if I can't communicate in English, dinner is Dinner course is served in order. Breakfast is varied. It is a Japanese-style buffet style such as curry rice, miso soup, Ochasuke, soba, or Americans, bacon, sausages are also available. The view of the dining room is very good. It is a 360 degree glass when it snows. Sit and have breakfast to see the snow view and next to the hotel there is a small waterfall as well. The hotel is about half an hour away from Takayama. Will drive up the hill along the hill There is no street light at night. It will be quite dark, the car runs less, but not scary nearby. The hotel has a coffee shop. Go down a raft and you will find a souvenir shop.
GGuest UserI visited GW with my family.
The word “hospitality” was perfect.
The staff were friendly and friendly, and I was very comfortable.
I was happy with both the bath and the food.
I would like to return if there is an opportunity.
Thank you very much.
