Mountain View Hotels in Koh Lanta

It was a beautiful experience — the entire resort was surrounded by nature. The staff were incredibly helpful and very kid-friendly. My children loved playing with the toys, and the infinity pool was absolutely stunning. There’s also a lovely treehouse overlooking the valley, complete with bean bags for relaxing. The food was fantastic too! Very close to the beach just 5 minutes walk and the staff arranged different tours with discounted rates.

Upon arrival at Lanta Triple Novel, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made us feel at home, assisting us with everything we needed. We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes. The porch was furnished with plastic chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The bungalow featured a small kitchenette accessible from the porch through a side door, which is convenient if you're planning a longer stay. Inside, there was a small plastic wardrobe for storing clothes and a mini-fridge. The only thing missing was a table and two chairs inside the room, which would have added to the comfort. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud. We rented a scooter from the owner at a decent price, making it easy to explore the island. Although there's a restaurant as part of the hotel, we didn't have the time to dine there. Originally, we planned to stay for three days but ended up extending our stay to four because we enjoyed it so much. The location is perfect—it's close to the beach, and there's a 7-Eleven just around the corner where you can get everything you need for your stay. It's a 4-minute drive to Saladan Pier, so you'll have an easy time catching ferries or speedboats for further travel. Overall, our experience at Lanta Triple Novel was excellent. The friendly owner, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made our stay memorable. Good little road-side hotel with a short walk to the beach.  Great service.  Friendly & helpful staff.  Very clean room.  Great service.  Stayed for only 1 night.  Hotel is located approximately in the middle of the island (north to south); rent a motorbike from the hotel and go explore Koh Lanta.

I really liked this hotel. The staff is quite friendly, everyone tries to help you, from the very early morning everyone works like a bee to make your stay pleasant and carefree. We had a nice spacious room, a comfortable bed with a firm mattress, soft pillows and crisp linens. A special pleasure is a shower under the stars ☺️☺️☺️ Among the shortcomings - the slippers are not disposable and they were dirty. And the soundproofing in the adjacent room is very poor. But overall this is a very good hotel for the money. The breakfasts are wonderful - everything is fresh and tasty 🔥

The house is clean, the bedding is comfortable, the boss is very attentive, attentive, and the recommendations are very good. The facilities need to be improved. There is no hair dryer and hot water bottle. It has to be given. It feels too strange. Is there still no hair dryer for washing my hair? Why bother? The deposit of 1000 is also strange. I stayed in 6 hotels throughout the whole process, the only hotel that received a deposit. It may be the peak season relationship, Trip.com reservation, 8 Chairman Mao for one night, expensive, does not match the facilities, I feel that 4, 5 are OK.

I stayed at the Tamarind Twin resort as a solo traveller for 4 nights and thought it was very good. The place is in a nice quiet location both close to the beach and restaurants and bars on the high street. The staff were very helpful and I booked all my trips and ferry journeys with them along with a scooter rental. The pool was nice for a dip after being at the beach and I could always get a sun lounger. I would have no hesitation booking this place again if I return to Koh Lanta.

Wonderful find. I spent hours trying to find rhe right place and I did. Rim Khao is a lovely little group of bungalows that back into the forest, but are conveniently on the main road and just a 10 minute walk from the beach. This is a brilliant place for a really good price. I spent hours watching the monkeys, ants, lizards, frogs, birds and butterflies that were very present. As I had no transport and only a walking budget, was limited where I went. But there was enough. The beach is beautiful for swimming and sunbathing. There is little shade, but if you walk to the end of the beach, theres a lot more shade there. If tou are happy to scramble the rocks, there is plenty of wildlife there too....fish, a billion crabs and brazen seabirds.there are plenty of restaurants, both local and tourist all just a stones throw away and the walking street is as good as any. The room was very quiet with air con and a fan that were efficient. The hot water was plentiful in the shower and cleaners were operating every day. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and English was really strong which of course is always appreciated , but never expected. The pool is more of a plunge pool, but thats all i personally ever need. You may consider it needs a bit of tlc, but it didnt bother me. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the road could barely be heard.just remember that the call to prayer can be heard almost everywhere. Oh, and a 7/eleven right next door. Amazing, and i hope to go back.

At the time of booking, there was only a room for 3 people with a large bed and a small bed, but we were only a couple. The room is overall good, the air conditioning is ok, and the hot water would be better. More than 500 yuan a night, not including breakfast. Renting a motorcycle at the hotel is convenient and cheap, and it’s great to travel around the island by motorcycle! The facilities and sanitary environment are good, and the overall service is very good!

Wir haben notgedrungen 6 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht, weil eine andere Buchung kurzfristig nicht geklappt hatte. Was wir bereits jetzt sagen können ist, dass wir ungern jemals eine weitere Nacht dort verbringen würden. Wir sind seit mehreren Jahren auf Ko Lanta und haben diverse Hotels ausprobiert, aber dieses landet in unserer persönlichen Rangliste definitiv auf dem letzten Platz. Die vorhandenen und überwiegend positiven Bewertungen sind für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Wir haben etwas über 100 Euro die Nacht bezahlt, für uns ein völlig unangemessenes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Für 40-50 Euro pro Nacht wäre es immer noch nicht angenehm, aber die Umstände eher zu akzeptieren. Fangen wir mit den positiven Dingen an: Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, macht das Beste aus den vorhandenen Möglichkeiten. Negativ: -katastrophale Matratze mit herausstechenden Elementen am Rand und deutlich spürbaren Federung auf der Fläche (Topper auf Nachfrage, aber keine Besserung) Dreht sich einer um, bekommt der andere die Bewegung komplett ab und bewegt sich ungewollt mit. Badezimmer sehr dunkel und abgenutzt stinkende Abflüsse die ganzen Tage über Waschbecken wackelig Mehrfach unzureichender Wasserdruck beim Duschen und am Wasserhahn. Kühlschrank nervig laut, klingt eher wie ein kleiner Kompressor. Fenster/ Balkontür schließt unzureichend, dadurch sehr laut, vor allem auch in der Nacht. Schlafen ohne Ohrstecker war nicht möglich. oft schwankendes WLAN Zusammengefasst: Nur das Allernötigste an Ausstattung zu einem unangemessenen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis, das dafür aber sauber, gepflegt und mit hilfsbereitem Personal.

Very nice and quiet bungalow. It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere. You'll sleep with and wake up to the sounds of nature. The bungalows are well taken care of. Ada (the owner) is very friendly and helpful! The drive to Long Beach/downtown is a gorgeous drive and takes about 30 minutes.
