XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby.
The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt.
The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone.
The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!

GGuest UserLocation is very good, walking distance from nanjing south Station. 小乔and the team make sure that everything is good and assist with our need as required. They also provided me a daily coffee voucher which I can redeem from cafe every morning. The room is big and clean. The only downside was, my room is facing the main road, honking is there during day time. But it will be peaceful after 10pm. At least, for the past few days I stayed, I didn't woke up the honking, and was still ok during lunch time too.

LLinjudegouI brought my sister here for a trip before university started. We heard they offer quite a spread, boasting five meals a day. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, while lunch and afternoon tea were just average. The service was genuinely thoughtful and incredibly responsive – they truly catered to our every need! A huge shout-out to our driver! He was incredibly eloquent, sharing fascinating insights into Nanjing's history throughout our rides. My sister remarked that he clearly not only loves his job but also has a deep passion for Nanjing! Staying at The Ritz-Carlton made it incredibly convenient to visit places like Deji Plaza, Jiming Temple, and the Nanjing Museum. Oh, and a side note: the hotel toothbrushes were surprisingly the most comfortable we've ever used!

I arrived at the airport late at night, and after calling the hotel, they were there to pick me up in under 5 minutes – truly impressive! My room was on the 2nd floor and was quite spacious and comfortable, with decent sound insulation. The next day, they also provided transfers to the subway station or the airport. Their service is truly thoughtful.

TtanhasteStaff: Staff were all friendly and really accommodating. There are also English-speaking staff in case there are tourists who (like myself) cannot speak the local language.
Location: The hotel is located quite close to the Qixia Scenic Area (Ancient town -- then West Gate of the Qixia Mountain Scenic Area). It's far from the city center but the environment is still quite good. There is also a grocery store and several small restaurants nearby. There are more restaurants in the Ancient Town too. So it is still convenient while serving as a good retreat to relax and slow down.
Accommodation: The hotel is nice, lobby looks amazing. Rooms are clean, also quite nice in design. Requested for a room with good internet connection (and silent area if possible) for work-related reasons and they certainly delivered. The environment is great and the room was located such that it was relatively quiet during the day. Cannot hear noises from the other rooms. Unfortunately, there were some really loud guests in the hallway at night (maybe communicating with friends or family but were shouting as they talk about something before entering their rooms) and the noise would reach the room. Otherwise, cannot hear anything as long as the guests are in their rooms.
Breakfast: The room package came with breakfast - there is an option that comes with ticket to the scenic area but I didn't take this one. Breakfast is buffet with several dishes to choose from. Asian and Western options available. Also has several beverage choices - I was quite happy they have coffee on top of tea, juices, etc.
Overall, I had a great stay here even if I had to spend most of the time working. Would consider coming back for vacation.

JJessie Ly Doan 丽丽The hotel is located right next to the Confucius Temple – a popular tourist spot that’s busy and convenient for food and various activities. It’s lively all day and night. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is quite good – you can either eat on the 5th floor or have it served in your room if you let them know in advance.
The room is fully equipped and has a private bathtub. My Deluxe Room had one big bed and one small bed, which was comfortable for a family with 2 adults and 2 kids.
One downside is that there’s no window, so you can’t tell if it’s day or night while sleeping.
There’s a nice river view from the 5th floor – great for taking pretty photos. They also gave us a free drink voucher in the afternoon, and the drink was tasty.
If I come back to Nanjing, I’ll definitely stay here again.

Secondly, the hotel boasts an excellent location. It's just a 70-meter walk to Zhonghua Gate, 45 meters to the City Wall Museum, 400 meters to Laodongmen Pedestrian Street, and about 1 kilometer to the Confucius Temple. A taxi ride to the Presidential Palace is roughly 3.3 kilometers and costs 9-11 RMB.
Thirdly, the hotel rooms feature smart facilities, controlled by an AI assistant (Xiaodu). The premium family rooms are particularly good, and I'd recommend getting one close to the lake if you want to enjoy the view, haha.

The restaurant is very small and in both of our stays we had to wait to find a table to eat our breakfast.
