Villa Flamenca

Fabulous Holiday NYE. Stayed for a week from 29 Dec. Hotel is lovely. About ten minute walk to Balcon. Staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed bed n breakfast. Breakfast is plentiful. Hot breakfast tad cool but there's a microwave. Egg chef great. Made lovely omelette. Pool area is good. Plenty of beds. None reserved. Pool too cold to swim in whilst we were there but it was hot enough to sit out. Weather was bit chillier at the evening. Needed a jacket or scarf but restaurants had patio heaters. NYE was fabulous on the balcon. Amazing night. Restaurants booked up so not much choice left for us. Managed to reserve a table in plaza espania. Brilliant holiday. Couldn't fault the hotel and would stay again. Thank you Villla Flamenca.

I was a regular visitor from 2006 to 2017 when the hotel underwent some major updating an this was my first opportunity to revisit. Not disappointed at all. maria at checkin could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with a full selection of hot and cold plates, cereals etc. Stayed in a Flamenca room which was very relaxing. Best nights sleep in a hotel in a long time. Even had Irish TV stations on the TV - now thats a first. Even though it was December I did swim in the pool made ever so easy by the thought of a hot outdoor jacuzzi to follow which was available up to 8pm. When checking out I had the use of a baggge room and a courtesy room to shower in late in the day.

this hotel is classed as a 3* but I think that it is as good as some 5* hotels that I have stayed in... the board basis is bed and breakfast maybe that is why.Pool towels are provided, free safe, fully stocked generously sized fridge.The hotel is immaculately clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful ,the menus in the bar and poolside bar offer a range of options. There is also an A La Carte restaurant. It made a pleasant change that none of the guests felt the need to reserve sun beds and not bother to use them, you could go to the pool area in the afternoon and find plenty available.hotel even has a gym. The The location of the hotel is excellent within walking distance of the beach, bus stops, bars, tapas bars and restaurants.This was a last minute holiday for us only booked two days before our flight and it has turned out to be one of the best holidays that we have had ,we can't wait to return.Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful holiday.

Everything about this hotel is very good. The area it is situated is quiet & residential. The ideal place to stay if you like to wander around little cobbled streets on your way to the Balcon de Europe area the views are amazing and lovely places to sit & enjoy refreshments too. It is quite easy to access the local bus routes too should you wish to wander further afield. The hotel reception staff are most helpful with any queries & always available. The rooms are ideal just what you need, including a small fridge, kettle & air conditioning. The beds & pillows are very comfortable too. We stayed bed & breakfast which was fabulous. Plenty of choice plus a gluten-free area as well. The pool bar & Lucas bar, within the hotel serve good snack meals if you don't want to wander out. Finally the whole place was spotlessly clean & well cared for. We would most definitely return.

Not too big, not too small. Stayed here on a bed and breakfast basis. Bedroom a bit on the small side. Distance between the foot of the bed and the wall too tight. Experienced poor weather during our stay and facilities did not match to the numbers of people opting to remain in the hotel. We had several evening meals in the hotel and these were very good indeed. Position-wise, the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from areas of Nerja with shops and restaurants. Staff helpful and friendly.

An amazing boutique type hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left service of all staff was excellent. Our room was relatively small and the balcony was a great addition. The beds were so comfortable and the room was very quiet. There was a good quality breakfast served and a variety to suit all tastes. Everywhere was immaculately clean. The pool area was sparkling and it was lovely to have the choice of a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. Food in the restaurant was of high quality and the Happy Hour was good fun too. Great quality, wonderful service and value for money. Thank you to all staff for making our holiday so enjoyable.

My wife and I have just returned from two weeks at the Villa Flamenca and we had a great time.The hotel is spotlessly clean and all the staff were extremely friendly and courteous.We would like to give a special mention to Sergio who is an absolute credit to your staff and your brand.He is immaculate in his appearance and the service and politeness with which he carried out his duties was first class and always with a welcoming smile.Please pass our appreciation to him for looking after us so well. There was a plentiful supply and choice of food at breakfast and the staff were always very friendly and efficient. We can highly recommend the hotel a la carte menu and Luques bar menu. Happy hour is a great feature of the hotel as it creates a friendly atmosphere and is excellent value and is very popular with guests of the hotel and locals. Given our experience of the Villa Flamenca we intend to return however, we will look to book a larger room as we found the room to be too small for comfort for a two week stay , upgrading to a larger room on the Jet2 holidays website was not an option so we will book directly with the hotel for our next visit. Our bedroom was cleaned daily to a high standard and we found the bed very comfortable. All in all we highly recommend the hotel and intend to return given our recent stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable night’s sleep. The nearby construction sight was noisy after 8am and as there was plenty to do locally and trips out it did not affect our stay. Good food both at breakfast and for dinner in the restaurant. They could accommodate my dietary requirements with ease. Lovely pool area and everything was clean and well looked after. Wish the bar was open later or that the reception staff could have served us after 11 as we developed a taste of a brandy nightcap which had to be ordered before 11! Walkable location to town and to a lovely beach although be warned that the walk up from the beach is steep. Would definitely stay again if visiting Nerja. One hour from Malaga airport was not too onerous. Very lovely part of Spain.

Nice hotel, very professional courteous staff couldn't do too much to help with useful local advice. Excellent in house restaurant, I went through the menu during my 10 day stay. Lovely chats with other visitors and local resident expats during happy hour on the terrace. Breakfasts also contained anything you could wish for.
