Roseate House New Delhi – Very Disappointing Stay
• I requested a room with a good view weeks in advance, but was given Room 425 facing construction.
• The room is dated and worn out. (do not trust their photos on the advertisement )
• No hot water from the sink tap.
• Very poor bathroom design, after showering, the entire floor becomes wet and the bath mat is soaked and slippery (heath and safety risk).
• When staff delivered extra towels, they lingered in the room clearly expecting tips, very uncomfortable and unprofessional.
• Room key cards kept demagnetising; I had to request new keys multiple times.
• The door lock battery was dying, so the lock wasn’t secure. Felt unsafe knowing the room could be left unlocked.
• The property looks “luxury” from photos, but the materials and overall quality feel cheap in reality.
• Air-conditioning is either freezing cold or too warm, no balance.
• Bed linen felt moist and not fresh.
Overall:
Very poor experience, especially considering the premium price. Unfortunately, this stay left a bad impression of New Delhi. I would not return and do not recommend.
