"Pushing open the door reveals a huge viewing platform—a superb spot for watching the sea of clouds during the day and the sunset at night. There's also a small fireplace downstairs where you can gather with friends in the evening to brew tea. The location is only about 2km from Manghong Mangjing Wengji Village by electric scooter, making it incredibly convenient. Renting an electric scooter is super easy. The guesthouse owner was incredibly welcoming, brewing tea and chatting with us; it felt like coming home. PS: Enjoying the breeze and eating the freshly killed sunflower seeds from the owner's wife on the small terrace felt so bad, haha!"

"Perfection exists. It’s here haha ! Beautiful place, rooms with stunning views. The first evening, we left our stuffs in the room and got invited to join villagers for drinking and diner. The host are very kind and helpful. I had more free tea in 3 days than ever in the rest of my life. The village is also very cute and it looks very peaceful. We had a great barbecue at the nearest restaurant the other night. You also are not far from other villages ! We will come back :)"

"A wonderful hotel with wonderful people! It's very new and the rooms are beautiful. They always offer tea, give recommendations on where to go and what to see, and can even drive you to and pick you up from anywhere. You can also rent a scooter. Every evening they host barbecues, sing songs, and chat. In terms of rooms and service, there are absolutely no complaints; everything is perfect! They can also pick you up from and drop you off at Xishuangbanna (for a reasonable price). While the owner's niece speaks a little English, everyone is excellent at using translation apps, so there are no communication issues. The view from the hotel is stunning! The only thing I'd wish for is a more diverse breakfast."

"The location of this hotel is really convenient, just next to it, go out and turn right for a short walk and there is a platform suitable for taking pictures, the scenery is very good. I lived in the room with plenty of lighting and spacious space. The off-season came over and the price was very high. If you come back next time, you will consider staying here, and I recommend it to friends who want to find accommodation in Lancang ~"

"First of all, I want to commend the owner and the young staff for their incredible enthusiasm and ease of communication. Since it had just ended a period of continuous rain, all the little insects on the mountain were out, which was quite frightening. The staff were incredibly helpful, spraying mosquitoes and using mosquito repellent. They were very understanding; that's typical of the rainy season in the mountains. I booked the ”Cloud View” guesthouse specifically for its terrace, which was truly wonderful. The sunset views were amazing, the facilities were new, and the location was fantastic—right at the intersection of the road to Bee Queen Tree and Aileng Mountain. I plan to come back before the next rainy season and stay for a couple more days. It was so comfortable! The life city dwellers yearn for!! Thank you for the white tea, it was so fragrant and sweet!!"

"To be fair, the environment is indeed lovely, and the landscape design, including the pool and gym, is very well-thought-out. However... 1) The room was too hot. It was 31 degrees Celsius when we checked in. We set the air conditioning to 16 degrees with maximum fan speed and left it on all night. The next day, the display still showed 29 degrees. It was incredibly stuffy. 2) The breakfast selection was quite limited. My parents, who were traveling with me, said it wasn't even as good as Atour's. There were no hot dishes at all. We only found out we could order stir-fried beef with broccoli by asking. The rice noodles were also the worst we'd had on our entire Yunnan road trip – soft and mushy. My parents mentioned speaking to a staff member who said it was due to low occupancy, so they hadn't prepared much. This really shouldn't be the standard for an InterContinental. Even if there aren't many cold dishes, simply making a decent bowl of noodles or rice vermicelli would significantly improve the experience. I could sense the staff's eagerness to please and their diligence; they kept asking how our stay was and what we wanted to eat. They even brought a bowl of tangyuan (sweet glutinous rice balls) even after we said we didn't want any. But honestly, it felt a bit misplaced. It would have been much better if they had focused on ensuring comfortable room temperatures and providing a basic, decent breakfast selection."

"1️⃣ Very satisfied hotel, located in Mangjing Shangzhai, there is a princess when you go out, you can also rent an electric car to Manghong and Wengji, and the restaurant at the door is also super delicious; 2️⃣ Outside the window is the mountain view, super beautiful, super good lighting, super cost-effective, 100 points recommended; 3️⃣ It’s not noisy at night, it’s very quiet. Compared to living in Ligan and Wengji, it’s not only good location, many attractions, but also quiet and not expensive. The boss is also super good. The stool in the room is broken and it’s not allowed to pay. If you can’t call the car, you can help us actively contact the driver; 4️⃣ The bathroom is also super clean, there are no bugs, there are disposable towels, there are two kinds of slippers, disposable slippers and plastic slippers, the hair dryer is Xiaomi, super easy to use; 5️⃣ There is also a super large screen projection in the room. Come back to rest and watch a movie at night."

"I travel frequently and book hotels often, but I rarely leave reviews. However, I absolutely have to praise this guesthouse. It's located in Mengben Village, the second village up Jingmai Mountain, and unlike Nuogan and Wengji, it's not overly commercialized. The guesthouse offers a peaceful retreat amidst the activity, situated near a Buddhist temple. We booked two 'Cloud View' rooms, and for two days, we truly got to enjoy watching the clouds from our beds. The owner was also incredibly warm and prepared delicious breakfasts for guests, making her own steamed buns and baozi, and even steaming fragrant and sweet Yunnan honey sweet potatoes. She also took us to a nearby viewing platform for tea and recommended great Dai cuisine restaurants nearby. On our first day, we even happened to catch the Dai 'Closing the Door' Festival. This trip was truly enjoyable, both for the experience and the food."

"The rooms were clean and tidy. The guesthouse has a large platform on the second and third floors offering views of the sunrise and sunset. The owner is very kind; whenever we wanted to go out, he would personally drive us to the village and then call us to pick us up again when we returned. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, including chicken soup with vermicelli. The chicken was free-range from the mountains, fresh, sweet, and very flavorful."

"The best part of my trip to Jingmai Mountain was choosing this guesthouse. It's truly excellent value for money. The location is perfect, right next to Nuogan Ancient Village, and just a few steps from the Golden Peacock bus stop, so no long walks with luggage – super convenient! The owner and their family are incredibly warm and genuine, especially the owner's son who was so helpful in sorting out my transportation to Nuogan Ancient Village, which was a huge relief. I also got to try the Puerh tea brewed by the owner, and it was delicious. The room was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Overall, it's affordable, well-located, offers warm service, and a great experience."
