The guesthouse is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering expansive views and breathtaking panoramic snow-capped mountain scenery right from the comfort of your room. The environment is exceptionally peaceful and quiet, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. A special shout-out to our housekeeper, Dorje, who provided absolutely top-notch service! He started communicating with us even before check-in to discuss our itinerary, offering many practical local travel tips. His responses were prompt and very friendly, making us feel completely at home. The facilities are also commendable. The room was clean, tidy, and completely odor-free. The full-room oxygen supply and constant temperature system are lifesavers in a high-altitude region like this, ensuring a very comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast offered a great variety, and the free parking was a convenient bonus. Overall, it's excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mount Siguniang!"

"Overall This was an absolutely stunning stay — one of the best I've experienced, and it truly blew us away. We had a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The resort is run by a warm couple and a team of locals who were wonderfully attentive and helpful, arranging our transportation from Chengdu to their doorstep and back. The food was exceptional — wholesome, nourishing and deeply local. The dinner hotpot hit the spot on a cold night, and breakfast was healthy and energising — exactly what you need before a long day of hiking. The room itself was spectacular; waking up to pine trees dusted with snow and a clear mountain view was something else. On a clear night, you could stargaze from the balcony and melt into the rocking chair. Simply blissful and a good escape from the city life. Highly recommend NPS 10. 🏨 Room — 10/10 Great layout, comfortable bed, a warm toilet seat on a cold morning, spacious, and most importantly — a stunning view. The hotel is relatively new, having opened in 2025 according to the owners. 🧹 Cleanliness — 10/10 Spotless throughout. All common areas were new and well kept. 👋 Staff Friendliness & Responsiveness — 10/10 The couple who run the place are genuinely lovely — always on hand to ensure you have a great stay. Responsive over WeChat to help coordinate logistics ahead of the trip, and they'll drop you at the entrance of the main hiking sites. Other staff were equally helpful. The primary language is Chinese, but they are patient and a translation app works perfectly fine. 📍 Location — 9/10 A 10-minute drive from both Changping and Shuangqiao valleys. Not much in the immediate surroundings — quaint little farms, grazing cows, and steep hills that will test anyone not yet acclimatised. 🍽️ Food & Drink — 9/10 The hotpot on both nights was incredibly nourishing and full of flavour, featuring a variety of local wild vegetables and mushrooms. There is also a stir-fry menu with a solid selection of local dishes, though we stuck to the hotpot both evenings. 🌅 View/Scenery — 11/10 Snowcapped peaks and beautiful pine forests as far as the eye can see (visited in April). I could have sat and stared out the window all day. 🏃 Activities & Surroundings — 10/10 The mountains and hiking trails are the main draw here — and honestly, the only activity you'll ever need. Shuangqiao is absolutely gorgeous and you could spend a whole day there if you like to hike(instead of just taking the bus). Changping is more for hikers, no bus service with a different charm, I love it more cause it was less touristy. The immediate area is quiet — everything you need is within the hotel itself. Stock up on essentials in the city, or check with staff ahead of time if there's anything specific you need. It's a hillside town, four hours from Chengdu."

"The rooms are beautiful and the atmosphere is great, but it's quite far from the park entrance. No worries though, the hotel staff can give you a ride. They offer breakfast with dim sum, steamed buns, rice porridge, and side dishes, which tasted pretty good. For dinner, there are many menu options available and the taste is decent. The staff are lovely and always ready to help. It's a peaceful place, perfect for relaxation. Highly recommend it! The price is also very good. P.S. There's a dog named '11' who is super cute!"

"Facilities: The heated flooring and heated toilet seats were definite bonuses. The elevator was under construction during our stay, but I'm sure it'll be ready soon, which will greatly ease the discomfort of altitude sickness. Environment: It's a very convenient 10-minute drive to Shuangqiao Valley. Service: The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. As soon as we arrived, they invited us to warm ourselves by the fire and even offered us local specialties. The service was thoughtful and attentive to guests' needs and feedback."

"Choosing this place in Siguniang Mountain was an absolute gem! I booked the Cloud Mountain Loft King Room with a panoramic snow mountain view, and the 270-degree windows frame the mountains perfectly. Waking up to the sunrise illuminating the golden peaks through the floor-to-ceiling windows was breathtaking; every photo I took looked like a masterpiece. The room has a loft layout, and the 30 sqm space felt surprisingly roomy. The 1.8-meter king bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable, and the underfloor heating was a thoughtful touch. Given the significant temperature swings in the mountains, it was always warm and cozy inside, which, combined with the smart toilet, really elevated the stay. The B&B is just a few hundred meters walk from Changpinggou Scenic Area, making it super convenient for getting around. The butler service was attentive and detailed, and the breakfast was light, delicious, and plentiful. Plus, the option for free cancellation within 30 minutes of booking offers great flexibility. Overall, it was clean, quiet, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Siguniang Mountain!"

"The room environment is very good, the service is good, the bedding is very comfortable to sleep. It is newly opened, and the room will still have some smell. The bath can be taken at the front desk with a bath bag, which is very hygienic. All employees are greeted with smiles and very good service. Both meals were eaten at the hotel, and the taste was good and the price was reasonable. Special attention should be paid to the fact that the homestay is not non-smoking and is very unfriendly to non-smokers. Many people smoke in public areas (restaurants, elevator halls, etc.), which taste great. It is easy to lack oxygen on the plateau, and you have to smell second-hand smoke. I hope that management can pay attention to it. Don't put an ashtray for them to encourage smoking. In addition, I hope all residents will be conscious! Avoid others, go to the outdoor corner to smoke, do not affect others."

"The front desk staff are well-trained and always greet you with a warm smile. I kept thinking, either they're paid exceptionally well, have a stake in the business, or they've just started their first job. If none of those are true, then the boss really needs to give them a raise. Enthusiasm without a pay raise is fleeting. Also, the restaurant food is quite good. I ate there for two days, and the service auntie was wonderful, constantly busy and serving like a top – she deserves a raise too. Parking, however, might be stressful for new drivers. Other than that, everything is as expected. The facilities have all the essentials, especially the washing machines and dryers which are four-star hotel standard – a godsend for lazy self-driving travelers."

"This stay exceeded my expectations. The facilities were complete and very convenient to use. The room was exceptionally clean, even the corners were dust-free. The environment was tidy and well-arranged, making for a very relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and responsive. They mentioned it was a new opening and offered a free room upgrade as part of a promotion. It was also very convenient to find food nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit."

"The experience at Yangjing Hotel Siguniang Mountain Changpinggou branch was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, with cozy wooden ceilings and soft, skin-friendly bedding. The courtyard view outside the window was lovely, with a fish pond and rockery creating a serene, Zen-like atmosphere. The bathroom facilities were clean and had a separate wet and dry area. The service was attentive and thoughtful. It's the perfect base for visiting Siguniang Mountain, highly recommended! The room was also incredibly warm, definitely a plus."

"Facilities: The room had an oxygen concentrator and humidifier, plus nasal oxygen tubing, which really helped alleviate my altitude sickness. Before, staying at hotels without oxygen, I'd sleep terribly at night, which was a huge discomfort. This time, after a good night's rest, I was in great shape for sightseeing! Hygiene: You can walk barefoot on the floor! The room thoughtfully provided toilet seat covers and disposable bath towels, very clean. Environment: There's a restaurant downstairs belonging to the hotel, and the food is quite good. Guests get a discount, and it's also a great spot for photos. Service: Before I even arrived, customer service called to give me directions and important information. Upon arrival, someone helped with my luggage. Once in the room, they thoroughly explained how to use all the equipment. There's also a shuttle service to tourist attractions. When I lost my earphones, they went out of their way to help me look for them, eventually finding them in the car and even mailing them back to me. Such a thoughtful establishment! I'll definitely be back when the weather is good next time!"
