New Hotels in Otaru

"I happened to book this place by chance. Upon arrival, I initially had some regrets as it seemed like a very small guesthouse. However, after checking in, I discovered the room was surprisingly spacious and offered excellent value for money. It's also conveniently located within walking distance of Otaru Canal. The best part was having a Chinese host, which made communication incredibly easy. We hadn't pre-booked a private car, but when we needed one at the last minute before leaving, the host quickly helped us arrange a transfer to Lake Toya at a reasonable price. This left us extremely happy and satisfied."

"The double room was spacious and had everything you need. Downstairs is Higashimachi-dori, making it very convenient for walking. However, be sure to finish walking before 5:30 AM, as most shops close between 5:30 and 6:00 AM, unless you plan to take your time the next morning. Diagonally across from the hotel is the Otaru Grand Canal, which takes less than 5 minutes to walk to for photo opportunities. The large public bath on the 6th floor is very comfortable and rarely crowded on weekdays. Parking is limited, with only 12 spaces available. To park, go to the hotel's designated second parking lot. Walk two blocks and look for a lot on the left that costs ¥1,000 for 24 hours, and one across the street that costs ¥1,300 for 24 hours. Around the hotel, you'll find many parking spaces that cost ¥700 to ¥1,000 for 24 hours. The hotel's parking seemed a bit too far away, but I eventually discovered a parking lot on the back street that costs ¥700 for 24 hours."
