The hotel is nice and room are spacious. The location is fine too. Breakfast is more Chinese stile oriented but there is a coffee machine and the coffee is fine. The only issue I had are bites all over my feet and legs by insects. I think it is due to the carpet floor both in the rooms and on each floor corridor.

Facilities: The hotel has very complete facilities, including a swimming pool and a gym. We booked a king-size bed room, which is spacious and bright. Because there is a baby, we added a crib so that both the baby and the parents can sleep soundly.
Environment: The surrounding area of the hotel is picturesque. When you wake up, you can see the mountain view runway, which is very suitable for vacation.
Service: The staff is very enthusiastic and makes people feel at home from check-in to check-out. Especially the housekeeper Xiao Jin, who not only helped with the luggage and guided the room throughout the whole process, but also provided online services at any time during the period, which was very thoughtful.
Luxury art travel photography for 45 minutes: Travel photography teacher Liu Xia was very patient in helping the children take pictures, and the experience was very good.

Great hotel. I visit Ningbo very often. I stayed at this hotel several times. I try to book a room with a balcony. Cleaning every day, very friendly staff, there is breakfast, there is laundry and a small gym. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, very close to the train station. Not far from the hotel there is a central square where various shops and restaurants are located. Very close to the historical quarter in the colonial style. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel is trying, but missing the mark in a lot of ways…felt like a bit of a letdown for a 4 star hotel.
The location kind of sucks. It’s right beside a metro though which is good.
Breakfast is served in a room with about 10 tables…so you’ll be fighting for a seat. It’s a very limited breakfast as well.
The rooms have no coffee or tea.
No fridge in the rooms.
The rooms have a nice sofa and table but no chairs (making it hard to work).
Elevators feel more appropriate for a 2 star hotel.
However, the staff were very attentive. There’s a nice coffee machine in the lobby.

I went to Putuo with my friends to pray for blessings. When I came back, I stayed in Ningbo for one night. I chose Tianyi Plaza, which was recommended by everyone. There are many hotels in the surrounding area. I saw this newly opened hotel and decided to try it out. The result was very surprising.
Environment: Everything is very new, and the decoration in both the lobby and the rooms is of high quality. There is also an exclusive executive lounge in the lobby.
Facilities: The room is fully equipped, including coffee, sleep aid tea, sleep aid aromatherapy... toiletries are also good, there is a gym and laundry room on the second floor, and every detail is considered. The breakfast in the room at this price is also excellent. I especially remember their health tea...
Service: The staff were all very nice. They immediately brought hot tea to the hotel when we checked in. When we checked out, they also brought us two bottles of mineral water to drink on the road, because it was still warm in winter. But we were in a hurry to catch the flight and didn't take it.
A very satisfying stay. The only drawback is that the smart device is not very smart and I can't even turn off the lights. I don't know if I didn't operate it correctly. But overall the price/performance ratio is very high and highly recommended…

This hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas.
1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes.
2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale
3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days .
4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced .
5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby.
6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use .
7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes .
8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees.
9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion!
10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking .
For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those .
The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

GGuest UserNice resort for families with lots of activities for the little ones. Highlight was the service and all staff were friendly especially Mona who also spoke English well and shared her wechat and checked with us everyday to ensure our stay was pleasant. Bon fire and fireworks for Chinese new year were an added bonus. Mona also helped us book a BBQ tent which was a nice experience by the lake. The play area is large and could use a facelift as some areas seem dated. Buffet breakfast was nice with the usual fare and a nice touch to give the kids a small gift when they clean their plates. Although it’s winter, the temperature was quite warm and the room AC could only be used as a heater which made the room too warm so we turned off the AC and left the windows open. Car parking was mostly full during the holidays but we managed to get a slot to charge the electric car. Overall a pleasant stay.

GGuest UserBest Hotel we have visited in China within it’s cost to service ratio. You get real value for your money and this experience is therefore unmatched by any other hotel we have stayed at.
From arrival, you are welcomed at your car with a friendly portar that accompanies you to the reception desk with your luggage and after check-in to your room. Check-in was quick and easy with the friendly and efficient staff.
We had only told the hotel it is an anniversary stay. Our room was made-up with folded swan-towels on the bed and scattered balloons with rose petals.
You can go for a walk throughout the area all the way to the nearest swimming beach built on the lagoon (Ningbo Binhai Thousands of People Sand Beach) entry fee of 30RMB per adult on weekdays and 60RMB on weekends. About 10 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel has a bar where you can have cocktails and food professionally made with some of the best ingredients. Don’t get dissuaded by the price tag. (I would however say the service is extremely good but slow during the week at the bar. ) Be patient, relaxed and enjoy the bar. It is worthwhile and great value. Would highly recommend the Burger and Mojito.
The staff left us a complementary fruit and cake basket with a bottle of wine and some soup for a night snack.
You can visit the Chinese Fishing Village in Xiangshan. It cost about 646RMB to go there and back and the ride takes between 90 and 120 minutes. Entrance is 60RMB per adult. You can rent a tent and chairs at the beach for 100rmb for the first hour and 50rmb for each additional hour. I would highly recommend taking your own towels with some water bottles to wash your feet when leaving the beach. You can pay 25rmb per person at the facilities next to the beach to wash your feet or take a shower(the facilities are not good). There are slow Quad Bikes to ride on the beach and Jet Ski’s on the water. The quad bikes are about 100RMB for 15 minutes.
Room service can be sent to your room with the food kept warm in a small oven under the kart for your convenience.
When requesting some water or small items at night, the staff can sometimes send the items with a robot to your room.
The hotel has a swimming pool that you can use anytime within the schedule. We could use the swimming pool any time between 08:00 in the morning and 21:00 in the evening. You can request a towel at the pool reception desk on the swimming pool floor.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a break away from busy life. You can come here to relax with world class service at a valued price.

SSUThe environment of the Park Hyatt Hotel is really beautiful. It is alone on the peninsula, and the building is magnificent. Although the room is a bit older, its flaws are not concealed. The service level is also always on line. The only regret is that some hotel facilities such as the swimming pool are not open. Hope to stay again next time.

PPeggy PegSince last visit in Ningbo we used that hotel to stay overnight for our business trips. Our old hotel „Golden Port“ is now already closed for renovations maybe. We will see. The location is near barstreet where a Irish ☘️ Pub is located. A little bit hidden in the background. There we always have nice breakfasts and some dinner.

AAugust MI recently stayed at a hotel in Ningbo, China, which had a super location close to Ningbo Railway Station. The hotel's proximity to the station made it convenient for transportation. However, there were a few aspects of my stay that could have been better.
The location of the hotel was indeed excellent, with easy access to the railway station. This made it convenient for exploring the city and accessing transportation options . The hotel's proximity to shopping streets and attractions added to its appeal.
Regarding the food, I would described as ”okay” . It seems that there were various dining options available, but the experience may have varied depending on the specific choices made.
One aspect that could be improved is the English proficiency of the reception staff. According to the search results, the staff's ability to communicate in basic English was limited . This could pose a challenge for non-Chinese guests who require assistance or have specific inquiries.
During my two-night stay, I also noticed a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. This could be a concern for those who are sensitive to smoke or prefer smoke-free environments.
Overall, the hotel's super location near Ningbo Railway Station was a major advantage. However, it is important to note the potential language barrier with the reception staff and the presence of a cigarette smell. These factors may be worth considering when choosing accommodations in Ningbo

excellent: the food and beverage manager and restaurant staff were always friendly and the food was excellent (though I think the price of a beverages is outrageous). the Thai curry is highly recommended.
the pools and spa pools are great
the room is nice and the whole building is beautiful.
a birthday cake and card to celebrate was very special and thoughtful.
to improve:
the cocktails we're awful each time we tried a new one...the ingredients were listed but not all present in the drink
the check in and checkout - first and last impressions need to be improved. check in we didn't receive a friendly smile to guide us to the counter, check out was a long queue
during the busy time, more shuttle cars are required, we had several 20-30minutes wait times and guests act a bit silly and selfish, pushing to get on the shuttle bus even when families with small children where waiting longer. it was 40degrees Celsius so walking was not a safe option.
I had to call three times to get housekeeping on the first day and was told usually housekeeping only come every second day, which doesn't make sense. I don't need my bed made or towels changed, but I do need the trash removed daily. a bit of a strange policy for a pretty expensive hotel.
the play are for kids is nice and the staff are generally friendly and patient.

JJamieI booked the Seclusive Life resort for a 2 night weekend getaway while I am working in Zhejiang. It was a beautiful, relaxing experience. The mountains were so lush and green. The best part of the resort was the staff. Everyone was so helpful. I do not speak Chinese but we were able to communicate via WeChat very easily. The staff really went above and beyond to make my experience comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very good. I ordered my meals a day in advance and the staff sent me a message when my food was prepared. I enjoyed the pool that is filled with cold mountain water. I did some hiking starting at the resort and really enjoyed the mountain scenery. Unfortunately the tub did not work in my room and there was a lot of mold in the shower but I think that is unavoidable in this humid climate. At the end of my stay the staff was about to help me arrange a driver to Xeudou Temple and Zhongcun Scenic area. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed, stress free getaway. One note, there are a lot of stairs (193 to my room) to get to the cabins so anyone with mobility issues will need to be sure to reserve a room they can reach. Again, ***** for the staff. Super.

EErnst NZThis is an interesting place as it’s old, contemporary style of an area past, dim lights everywhere, traditional wooden panels alongside huge heigh ceilings. It brings back a time of glamour, reminded me of the Titanic in its former glory. Yet the rooms are crammed, I hit my foot twice on the floor bed corner. The staff are friendly and helpful, english is spoken at reception. Would i stay here again? Probably not, as the darkness of the room, ( windows do open slightly) felt depressing. However great location, cross the river and you are in the mids of the city. Ernst , New Zealand
