The boss said that the bamboo shoots were freshly dug on the island, and the roasted bamboo shoots and meat were delicious. One plate was not enough, so he added more, which made me happy. The breakfast was simple, but it was clean. I was very happy to take a cat and a dog to the island to watch the sea.

I wanted to find a place to relax in the mountains during the May Day holiday. I could bring my dog ​​to Dalezhiye, so I chose this place. We spend three nights here to explore the area and loved our stay! The owners were so kind and helpful! Despite our limited mandarin we could still communicate well with some English and translation apps. They helped us with public transport directions (two buses from Ningbo) and provided a varied tasty breakfast (even vegetarian upon our lastminute request). Nice warm shower and beautiful mountain view from the room. There are some great hiking trails nearby (see Zhejiang hiking trails app), some starting directly from this cute historic village. The village across the hill (15min walk) is also very scenic. All in all a great nature getaway from Shanghai with the sweetest hosts!
