The hotel looked decent enough online, but once I checked in, it was a different story. There were no amenities provided at all — no shampoo, no body wash, I asked the receptionist and he replied that I need to buy my own. I had to go out and buy my own toiletries from a convenience store nearby. What surprised me most was the air conditioning situation. The room had an old wall-mounted unit, but to use it, you had to pay a daily fee. I understand it was a budget place, but even the basics like shampoo should be a given. It definitely made me appreciate the little things in other hotels — sometimes you don’t realize how much those small comforts matter until they’re missing.

The place is nice in greek style and the staff is kind, but we’ve been to many places and i’ve never been asked once to pay for air conditioning. Also there was nothing to clean the dishes in the kitchen

The suite provides a bedroom and a living room. The bedroom is small and can only accommodate two single beds. The living room is spacious, with a dining table, sofa, tableware, refrigerator, oven and other living facilities. The overall hotel is small and medium-sized, leaning toward homestays, suitable for couples and family vacations, and has complete supporting service facilities, such as swimming pools, bars, etc.

The check-in counter didn't know the policy, and it took a long time to communicate about the visa issue. It was not a personal reason. I couldn't check in because the flight was delayed. I couldn't get a refund after communicating with the hotel. It was difficult to talk and impersonal. Bad review...

Beautiful boutique style pool area everywhere is spotlessly clean. Basic apartment but features everything you need for a self catering Stay. perfect location right next to the bus station you can hop straight on the bus from the airport for €2.50 number 612 which brings you right outside the accommodation. A short walk takes you down to the seafront promenade where you can walk for miles right into Paphos promenade which features the castle also a great shopping mall with a big supermarket 10 minutes walk away or around fantastic stay would definitely return and recommend.

I was staying at Tasmaria during my short holiday. What i can say? The rooms are really clean, and big. What i find quite bad was the mattresses, they are hard as rock. That's the only change i can recommend. Beside that, the staff from the hotel and bar are absolutely amazing. Helped me with all my enquiries, and made me feel safe trough my staying.

Can't wait to return. Tasmaria could not be better located right next to the bus station. The apartment was adequate for my needs. It may not be of the Ritz or Hilton standards but then neither is the price. It is self catering so everything you need from toiletries to washing up liquid is your own responsibility. I can't understand why people complain about the lack of these items when the clue is in the accommodation description, SELF CATERING. Convenience store is across the road for such items. The rooms are big and cleaned every day. Bedding and towels changed once per week.The entire staff are polite, friendly and helpful which is a bonus in itself. There was no noise from neighbouring apartments whatsoever assuring me the best sleeps I've had in a very long time. Only two watchable TV channels if you are English speaking, BBC news on a loop or a movie channel ,but who wants stuck in front of a TV in such a fantastic location. Plenty free sunbeds and decent pool with an outside bar to take up your time if you don't want to explore the area. I only used the toaster and kettle in the morning but there are plenty places nearby for breakfast if you desire. Restaurants and cafes aplenty,your are spoilt for choice. I would add that if you are disabled, there are no access ramps or lifts, I only highlight this to prevent issues if you arrive on crutches or in a wheelchair. If I didn't have to leave after my 7 nights for reasons back in the UK, I would have requested an extended stay. If you are happy to have basic accommodation,then I can't recommend Tasmaria Apts highly enough. I will 100% guarantee that I will be back

Love this place have been 4 times and hope to return .I definitely couldn’t fault it rooms cleaned every day and Couna the cleaner is a lovely hard worker.Our room 524 was big and bright with view over bus terminal. Everywhere in walking distance .Best sunbeds I’ve ever lay on .staff helpful and pleasant . Thank you Tasmaria for my 2 weeks in April Arlene & David Sinclair

We were flying in the evening but getting kicked out of the villa we'd rented at 10.30am, so booked this place so we had a base for the day as it was just £26 for the "night". Arrived at 11.am, obviously couldn't check in but were able to leave our cases and park our rental car. Explored the local area, it's in a great location with numerous bars and restaurants around. Check in was at 3 pm, even though we explained that we'd be checking out by 6pm... The room was as expected, very dated but clean. Quite big, with a large fridge, a washing machine(!) and a cooker and sink and a tiny TV. Bathroom was also very tired but clean and functional. The hotel has a big, clean and attractive swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers. Pool towels however were not provided, we just used the ones from the room. We spent the afternoon around the pool, used the shower before we left for our flight and felt that for £26, it was well worth it.

Great location, right next to bus station , buses are easy to get and have a set fare of €2 per trip anywhere. Tasmaria is a good base , TV in living area and bedroom,comfortable king size bed , lighting is good , bathroom and kitchen are adequate but the fridge did leak and it was very difficult to light the oven. It's dated , and the sunbeds and pool area need a good clean. Didn't see much of the staff but check in was smooth . I've not seen anyone eat here so they must serve food. There were people regularly drinking in the bar area though. Didn't need air conditioning as it was mid October but it would be an added expense if we had.

Brillant location very close to bus station and restaurants … some had great free entertainment… but the hotel is dated … and to be honest not brilliant … pool area is good and poolside bar (tad expensive) i suppose you get what you pay for … loved Paphos but not sure I’d return to Tasmaria.

Room and pool area were spotless & the room was cleaned daily. Rooms were quite basic but had everything we needed & there is a shop just across the road for any extras. Staff were all very pleasant. Location was great, right next to bus station with buses running every 15-30 minutes which l were very affordable. Hotel is within walking distance to plenty of restaurants. Had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

Not my best hotel apartment experience. We had to pay 118 euros extra for air con per week. In addition to our package holiday cost from jet2holidays. I would shop around for a better deal. Basic place. There was no holiday atmosphere. Not friendly, infact very hostile. A shocking experience of Cyprus for my first time. Owner was like a ********. Shouted at a liverpulean guest when she complained about the air-conditioning extortion. Older Irish couple booked into another hotel that had air con included as Taz was so unhelpful. Not hospitable at all.
