GGuest UserI visited just before the May Day holiday. The guesthouse's location is excellent, with a view of the Nalati scenic area right across the river. The owner confirmed our arrival time and dining preferences in advance. Even though we arrived close to 1 AM, they still had the chef wait to prepare a warm meal for us. The guesthouse has many small animals; in the morning, if you open the curtains, you might spot a cat named Xiao Jiu on the balcony, and opening the door could lead you to a big, fluffy rabbit, as well as a dog named Da Xiong. When there are more guests, the guesthouse also hosts bonfires. The multi-talented owner transforms into a resident singer, inviting guests to sing and dance along, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The owner even gave us a souvenir when we left. By the way, Nalati is incredibly beautiful, and I'll definitely come back! And when I do, I'll stay at Luxury Retreat Guesthouse again!

LLordtinaWe stayed here while backpacking, and it truly became one of the highlights of our trip. The location is perfect, the scenic centre isn’t too far. You can walk there if you don’t mind a bit of a stroll The hotel has a washing machine, which was a huge plus for travellers like us.
But what made this stay unforgettable was the kindness of the hotel owner, Mr. Liang Yue Yang. Despite the language barrier, he went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From offering us a ride to the scenic area, helping us buy bus tickets, to making sure we had everything we needed—his warmth and generosity touched our hearts. He even offered to send us to the bus station on our departure day.
The breakfast was simple but delicious, and the view from the hotel is breathtaking. Just a short walk away, there’s a peaceful river that’s perfect for a quiet picnic.
As Muslim travellers, we were also relieved to find halal food easily available nearby.
This place may be small, but the hospitality we received was big in every way. We’re so grateful we chose to stay here.

GGuest UserTaking advantage of the holiday, I drove to Yili to see the apricot blossoms. In the spare time, I went to Nalati to relax. The flowers in early spring are blooming beautifully. The hotel is open to welcome guests. We were the first to arrive. People who knew each other and didn't know each other had a barbecue and chatted together. The boss was also very enthusiastic and sent us some side dishes and some beer 🍺. The handsome boss was very enthusiastic. Next time I have time, I will experience Nalati in autumn again

GGuest UserThe facilities are complete and clean. The most important thing is that the boss is very nice and the service is considerate, just like family. Free pick-up and drop-off to the scenic spot, thank you very much 😊, the second floor of the homestay can also be used for cooling off, overlooking the alpine meadows, the geographical location is excellent. I will definitely come again next time or recommend it to relatives and friends.

GGuest UserLet's start with the downsides: Firstly, the afternoon tea is only available from 3 PM to 6 PM. Honestly, that's a bit stingy. I've stayed in five-star hotels all over Xinjiang, and this is the only one where afternoon tea is offered for just three hours. Other hotels offer it from 1 PM to 10 PM, and if you don't finish it on the day, you can even take it with you the next day when you check out. It doesn't get dark until 9 PM in Xinjiang, so only having three hours for afternoon tea is truly ridiculous. It's not like the cost of afternoon tea is high, but being so stingy leaves a very poor impression on guests and doesn't match the level of a five-star service.
Secondly, the privacy in the hotel rooms is somewhat lacking. For instance, the ground-floor rooms by the pool have windows and doors directly facing it, so with people constantly passing by, you have to keep the curtains closed, which means no natural light or ventilation. Then, from the third-floor public viewing area, you can see the courtyards of the rooms below and even the bathtub of a room on the second floor. If privacy is a concern for you, I'd strongly advise caution.
Thirdly, breakfast is a bit too monotonous. The only options are Western-style vegetable salad, bread, and Chongqing noodles. The noodles were passable, though.
Fourthly, I wouldn't recommend this place for those without their own transport. The guesthouse doesn't typically offer shuttle services to the scenic area, and it's incredibly hard to get a taxi outside the Nalat scenic area, especially in the morning. In the afternoon and evening, you might have some luck with Didi (ride-hailing), but drivers said there are very few cars taking orders here. We stayed at another five-star guesthouse in Nalat that was much more proactive in offering shuttle services to the scenic area and even to town for meals and back. With this place, well, you have to go through a fair bit of effort to communicate and negotiate, which can be quite draining for guests who are a bit more reserved.
As for the pros: The overall design style of the guesthouse is lovely, and the pool looks great in photos when the sun is out. The service was also decent; when we asked for help with luggage because of the tall staircase leading to and from the guesthouse, they did assist.

LLihaorenshengI walked around the neighborhood and found that although his house was not big and had not many rooms, the yard was very warm and romantic. The washing machine can wash clothes, which is very convenient. 100 meters from their house is the river, which is great for taking the kids to play! When it is quiet in the morning, you can hear the sound of the river in the yard.
It was very quiet to sleep at night!
Of course, the main price is also very fair! The one diagonally opposite is a little bigger and costs more than three times as much!
It is very convenient for those who travel by car to their house. We didn't drive, we went there by ourselves, it's not very convenient to get a taxi in this place! Fortunately, the owner of the supermarket on the side of the road booked a car for me.

The bed is clean and tidy, the sheets are white and flat, the quilt is neatly folded, and the pillows are soft and moderate. Lying on it feels like being surrounded by clouds, super comfortable!
The floor is sparkling clean, with no dust or debris, making it easy to walk around. The bathroom is also dry, with no water stains or musty smell, and the toiletries are placed in an orderly manner, making it super convenient to use!
And oh, those little details, like the curtains and tablecloths are all clean and free of stains and wrinkles, which really makes people feel super comfortable! I will come to this B&B again next time!

GGuest UserThis B&B is quite close to the scenic area, with a great environment. Behind it is a vast grassland where you can see cattle and sheep. The facilities are very new and the hygiene is excellent. It was one of the most comfortable stays I've had in Xinjiang. The service was very attentive; a butler greeted us at the entrance and helped with luggage. Breakfast was also fantastic, and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. We had dinner there too, and the food was delicious and perfectly suited our taste.

GGuest UserI had such a wonderful stay here and truly want to thank all of the staff for making my trip so special.
First of all, the hospitality was beyond amazing. As a foreigner who cannot speak Chinese at all, I was honestly a little nervous at first. However, every staff member tried their best to help and welcome me warmly, which touched me deeply. I would especially like to thank a staff member named Yi. She was the only person who could communicate with me fluently in English, and she helped me with absolutely everything during my stay. Because of her kindness, I never once felt uncomfortable or isolated here despite the language barrier. I would honestly give her 10000/100!
The accommodation itself was also excellent. The room was very clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the peaceful atmosphere allowed me to rest perfectly every night.
Another thing I loved was the variety of activities offered here. Everything was amazing , horseback riding, delicious hot pot meals, and even professional photography sessions. It was my first time riding a horse, so I felt a little nervous at the beginning, but the staff took such good care of me and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the experience.
Most importantly, I was deeply impressed by the culture here. It felt so warm and heartfelt. I truly love your culture. At night, there was a campfire gathering where local staff sang songs and danced together. It was such a joyful and unforgettable experience for me.
In conclusion, if I ever visit Xinjiang again, I will definitely come back and stay here. Thank you so much to every staff member for your hard work and kindness. You made me genuinely happy throughout my entire stay.
