I enjoyed staying at this hotel with my family and friends. It is situated on top a small hill on one end of Shengshan Island. Staff can pick you up from the island’s dock and drive you to the hotel - which is great if it is super hot or if you get seasick on the ferry ride (1 hour from Shanghai, 3.5 hours from Ningbo) from the China mainland. The hotel has impressive rooms with large bathrooms / a tub, showy / “baller” furniture, and thrilling views of the sea. Our room had a 270 degrees view - we received a free room upgrade from the generous hotel. The hotel has a solid morning breakfast (not buffet) included in the room rate. Soft drinks and beers can also be bought. The hotel has an outdoor pool and it is next to a seaside road that can serve as a running route (there is a running path part of the way). One length of the island, from the hotel to the East Cliff, is about 5.25 km one-way. The run is more undulating (hilly) than you might expect, but it is not too bad. Bring suntan lotion if you go in the summer. I’d say 2-3 nights is enough to get the full experience. This is a really strong hotel considering that it is in a small market and that the whole island is a bit isolated. I am glad I went and am happy to recommend if you decide to give it a try.

It was the first time I booked a B&B in the surrounding area. Although the surrounding environment was not ideal, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the B&B. I liked it very much. From the decoration style to the environment and hygiene, everything was super good. The food cooked by the owner's mother was also super good. 👍If I was not in a hurry, I really wanted to stay a few more days, because it is really a good place for leisure and vacation. Hygiene: very clean. Facilities: very creative and stylish. Environment: It feels like entering a Suzhou garden. Service: very good, the whole family is very friendly.

I recently stayed at Pullman Zhoushan Seaside and had a truly wonderful experience. As an Accor Platinum member, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious suite. The room was extremely comfortable, well maintained, and made for a very relaxing stay. Although this Pullman does not fully participate in the Accor loyalty program and the executive lounge is not available to members, I sincerely appreciate the efforts made by the lovely hotel manager to align our stay as closely as possible with Platinum benefits. This included complimentary breakfast and dinner for two, both of which were of high quality with a good variety. Most importantly, the manager and team genuinely tried to make us feel valued and well taken care of. Here are a few small suggestions that could further enhance the experience: 1. The gym’s maximum dumbbell weight is currently 50 lb (about 22 kg). Adding heavier options, such as 55–70 lb, would be a great improvement. 2. More shuttle services between the hotel and Putuoshan Island’s port would be very convenient for guests. Thank you to the Pullman Zhoushan Seaside team for the thoughtful upgrade and excellent service. I look forward to returning in the future.

We love everything about Healray Collection. Our flight arrived late, and took a late ferry over to the Island. Luckily they had shuttle service from and to Ferry, which made it so much easier than calling a car service. When we arrived, they assisted us unloading the luggage. Our room got excellent view and could see the Guan Yin statue from our room. I'm OCD, so cleanliness is very important to me and I approved. We booked two nights, sadly we were only able to stay one night due to a Gale warning. The hotel had such a great customer service, when we were sightseeing, they gave us a call to inform us that they received a Gale warning and that the ferry will not operate the next day. They gave us an option to stay or refund us the one night if we wished to checkout to catch the ferry. They were very helpful and resourceful in that respect. The manager Zhou Min reached out to our online booking to verify our refund. We were very pleased and amazed with their extraordinary service. I personally would definitely refer and book with them again. I care about service and they have one of the best service I've had experienced.

Service by the guy who picked us up from the airport is excellent. 10/10!!! Our luggage was damaged during the flight, he called someone to help us repair it. We were short on time for the ferry sailing to Mt Putuo due the weather conditions, that day sailings will be cancelled, (we got to chat in the van when he picked us up from the airport), he said we can just leave the luggages at the front desk and then hurriedly sent us to the port, good thing we made it. That's superb customer service!!! He didn't even want to get a tip, eventually we gave him some dried mango packs from the Philippines. The front desk guy though is a different story, he was super slow, did not know how to handle checking in of foreign passport holders I think. He has our passports and had to ask us our birthdays!! It was also difficult for him to understand the visa dates (expiry and issue dates), and he kept on asking when we arrived, it is just there stamped opposite the visa page, we just actually arrived that day, this is our first hotel. Anyway, free pick up from the airport is best and free sending to the port and then lastly also to the bus station. Great service.
