"I had such a great experience staying at Hue Hotels and Resorts El Nido. The location is super convenient, it’s close to everything! Restaurants, shops, and the starting points for island-hopping tours are all just a short walk or tricycle ride away, which made getting around really easy. The best part for me was the rooftop. The view from up there is stunning — you can see the dramatic limestone cliffs and surrounding greenery. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a day of island tours or to catch the sunset with a drink in hand. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, but still feels relaxed and welcoming. The staff were friendly and always happy to help, which made the stay even better. If you’re looking for a comfortable, accessible place to stay in El Nido with amazing views and a great location, Hue is a solid choice. I’d definitely come back."

"I would recommend The Funny Lion for anyone staying in Puerto Princesa. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the facilities were excellent. Everything from the rooms to the amenities was well-maintained and comfortable. I had a great stay and would definitely come back again!"

"I truly regret that I stayed for only 1 night. Since I am a solo-traveller, I wanted to chill in Puerto Princesa. The hotel is super close to the airport, as you can say it is located within a walking distance, the hotel offered a comprementary transfer from/to the airport. The room was clean and spacious. I did not want to leave! It was an amazing experience to stay."

"This hotel absolutely deserves a 5-star rating! While it may not appear exceptional from the outside, given its location on a busy street, trust me when I say it offers exceptional value. At such an affordable price, we enjoyed a luxurious experience, a spacious room with a balcony, stylish design, fantastic amenities, complimentary gifts from the hotel, a bathtub, and much more! Additionally, our room reservation included a delightful buffet breakfast at no extra cost. Not to mention, the hotel staff were exceedingly polite and courteous. Upon check-in, one of their staff members even escorted us to our rooms, providing information about the restaurant, gym, and relevant timings. I will definitely book this hotel again in the future!"

"The room was basic, but for the price paid it was fine. The shampoo in the bathroom was empty during my nights stay which was a shame. My biggest issue was the cleanliness of the communal areas. The tiled floors were filthy and covered in clumps of hair and dead insects. Inside the room, cleanliness was better, but there was still stains and marks on furniture and the walls. Staff were kind and allowed me to have my breakfast at a later time than I’d booked."

The breakfast was also decent, with enough variety to start the day well. Although my check-in experience wasn’t perfect, the staff handled it as best they could. My room wasn’t ready when I arrived, and since the hotel was fully booked, I didn’t get the twin room I had reserved. However, they were quick to accommodate my family by adding an extra bed for the kids, which made the situation more manageable. Overall, the location, amenities, and helpful staff make this hotel a solid choice for airport travelers. With a little improvement in managing bookings, it would be even better."

"The experience over all was amazing. We truly enjoyed our time in this hotel. The staff were very accommodating (they did need to switch us rooms though cause the first one had an AC with a bad smell) but without hassle they changed us and everything was fine. I think if the ac doesn’t run for a while they can do that. The pool was absolutely great, we spent most days in the pool at least once. I did wish it had a bit of shaded area over the pool itself but the water temperature was just right and so relaxing. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very delicious. We had some lunches and dinners there too which were all great as well. There is a very cool 360 roof bar with a happy hour, though it was disappointing that the front desk info said it included cocktails and beer for happy hour but we were told beer only for happy hour prices when we went up there.  The location and the views are just stunning from wherever you look and it’s truly peaceful. It is a bit far away so you would want a motorbike or car rental, which we did have so it wasn’t a problem for us. It was one of the most relaxing stays we had in the Philippines and we would definitely go back! :)"

"Hotel was awesome! It’s right by the sea, and our room had a fantastic ocean view. The pool was great, perfect for a swim or just chilling out in the sun. It's well-kept and a nice spot to relax. We loved the on-site resto/cafe. I had an americano and it was on par. It was a great place to start the day with its super cozy and welcoming vibe. For fun, they have a dart board and a Pinoy pool table. We had a blast playing both in the mornings with my family. Overall, Microtel Puerto Princesa was an amazing experience with its great location, awesome amenities, and fun activities. Highly recommend it for a laid-back seaside getaway!"
