The reception, bar, restaurant staff were very good all main areas were very clean.Unfortunately the Housekeepers let the hotel down as they could not make the beds properly 2 Pillows only 1 pillow case put on bottom sheet was never straightened top sheet was put over lightweight quilt no quilt cover that if you were lucky had been straightened ,also had to ask for towels as they took dirty ones and did not replace them . Pool towels available at o extra charge plenty of sunbeds . Snacks available at certain times 10 - 12 3 - 5 ice creams available as well .

Visited the hotel on a 5 day girls trip so expectations aren't as high. Rooms - basic but clean and functional. Air con is really cold which I loved! Food - probably my least favourite thing about the hotel. Breakfast is fine. Lunch is limited and dinner wasn't really up to scratch. The first night the chicken was raw which put me off eating meat for the rest of the trip. The snack bar was basic but great if you missed a meal or felt peckish. Drinks - drinks were actually really good for an all inclusive. Beer was lovely. Spirits weren't too horrendous considering the type of alcohol used. Entertainment - didn't watch it so can't comment. Staff - everyone I encountered was fine. Special shout out to Angela at the snack bar and George at the main bar who were fantastic. Location - a little out of the way but not too bad. Station Pub across the road is great for cheesy karaoke and cheap for drinks. About a 20 minute coast walk into Protaras and about a 20 minute drive into Ayia Napa.

Perfect family holiday, having read the reviews was slightly apprehensive but that was dispelled from the minute we checked in. Bottled water and sandwiches in room for us as we arrived at midnight. We stayed in the apartments not the hotel but only 100 yards away on the same complex, the room was basic but good enough. TV(we never turned it on) Free safe. Fridge and super cold air conditioning. the beds in the bedroom were however a little hard for our liking. Food was great and so much choice for every meal.all the restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. now the pool snack bar was awesome, Angela (i think) was a superstar in there all week so friendly, food was cooked to order and the 2 cooks were so nice too, food was really good, cheese and ham toasty was a favorite of ours and the kids ate so many hot dogs. The 2 guys doing the daytime entertainment by the pool were really good and engaged with all the kids perfectly. aerobics, water polo, darts, table tennis, disco's, The water park at the Anastasia hotel is great for an hour or so too and only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. generally the hotel is in a quiet area but......... a very easy scenic walk of 1 mile takes you into the center of Protaras where it is action packed with shops, food, bars fairground and lots more. Overall a 10/10 holiday and we are looking to rebook for later in the year. Thank you to all the staff there

The pool is definitely what sells this hotel, rooms were cleaned every day which is great and a decent size. But the staff let this hotel down I’ve never stayed anywhere where the staff are so miserable when ordering drinks from the bar we didn’t even get a hello or a smile they said nothing. The reception staff were always friendly though and happy to help which was nice. I’ve seen so many different reviews on this saying the staff were courteous and friendly but this is not how they were with us. Even after us smiling at them and saying hello first. The food was ok with a good selection just sometimes lacked labels on what things were and slow on filling the salad bar, sauces and desserts up but I know this can’t be helped it was just basic AI but I wouldn’t say it was great. Although we ate out most days as didn’t realise the hotel was so far from Protaras so spent most of our days there on the beach as the little beach by the hotel wasn’t great. We had one pool day and whenever going to the pool bar for drinks with our all inclusive bands on we was being asked our room number all the time to which she would reply are you sure? (This is about as much as we got out of the lady on the pool bar) she made us feel uncomfortable as if we wasn’t telling the truth. Very strange didn’t quite understand this. It’s a real shame as this hotel could be amazing. There is however a lovely bar opposite this hotel called the station pub and this is where we spent our evenings with great entertainment and such lovely friendly staff just what the hotel was missing. We booked this hotel thinking it was a 4 star hotel to only realise it’s now been down graded to a 3 so maybe that’s why we were so disappointed. I just think the staff make a hotel and if you don’t get a friendly vibe it really does make a difference.

We have been really pleased with our stay at The Tsokkos Gardens Hotel for 7 nights from 27th May 2024. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean, the bedrooms are serviced daily with fresh towels and all public areas are immaculately clean. The restaurants are buffet style offering a large choice of dishes, something for everyone! We were on an ‘all inclusive’ package which gave us access to three meals a day plus snacks in between if required. We had access to unlimited soft and alcoholic drinks from 10.00am until 12.00 midnight from the bar. Tea and coffee available from 7.00am until 12.00 midnight from drinks machines. Also included is unlimited access to the sister hotels water park just around the corner!! The pool area is huge, the swimming pool is also very large with an interesting shape. The entertainment is also very good, plenty of pool based activities during the day and great family entertainment in the evenings. My wife and I travelled with our 10 year old daughter, we really would highly recommend this hotel. It's great for families or couples. It's in a relatively quiet location but easy to walk to nearby beaches or Protaras centre itself.

My recent stay at Tsokkos Garden Apartments in Cyprus was underwhelming and far from what I had hoped for. Here are some key points from my experience: - **Staff**: Most of the staff lacked personality and felt robotic in their interactions. Receptionists were always helpful and available when needed. - **Food**: The vegetarian options were very limited, and I ended up eating salad, pizza, and chips for most meals. Breakfast was the best meal of the day but still below par. Family who ate meat also reported a poor quality of food. - **Pool**: The pool hours (10:00-18:00) were inconvenient, especially for someone who enjoys early morning swims. The pool was often crowded with children. - **Entertainment**: The entertainment was lackluster. Bingo was slow, the kids' disco was just music and lights, and the quiz took an eternity to finish. - **Room Issues**: The bed was uncomfortable, and we were given only one pillow, although this was resolved with a mattress topper and an extra pillow. - **Facilities**: To access food or drinks, we had to walk to the hotel, except for the small bar at the apartment pool, which was only open during the day. Wi-Fi was only available in the apartment. - **Cleaning**: The room was always well-tidied by the cleaning staff, who did so promptly while we had breakfast. - **Convenience**: Shops were a short walk away, and Jet2 staff were very helpful throughout our stay. - **Drinks and Coffee**: The coffee machine was available most of the day and night, and the drinks were of good quality. - **Dining Experience**: I often felt watched by staff during meals when it wasn’t busy, especially at breakfast. We were only offered one drink at dinner and never asked if we wanted a refill. - **Balcony**: The balcony had a lovely view of the pool. - **Water Slides**: We had access to a hotel with water slides across the road, but this was not explained to us by the staff. Overall, I would not recommend Tsokkos Garden Apartments. It was not worth the flight time or the money spent.

I booked this expecting a 4* experience. I arrived at 1am to be met by Howard who told me in no uncertain terms that the WiFi wasn’t great (I was planning to work from this hotel on a bit of a holiday/work trip) and that it was €20 for a 7 day pass. Bit old fashioned but okay.. I’d had a great deal at booking so wasn’t the end of the world. A very nice man took my suitcase up for me. It was 1am and dark so I went straight to bed- no pillowcases?? But hey, things are always better when you’ve had some sleep and breakfast. Breakfast was average at best. The staff did their job but nothing more, and the lads working breakfast didn’t do much to make a solo female traveller feel comfortable. At 4*, I expected to at least see the chef and doing the eggs etc- nothing. Pool is stunning. 15min flat walk to the beach. Plenty of shops for inflatables and coffee etc. Water park next door which you can use for free which looked AWESOME. 6 year old me would have been there everyday! My room had no hot water when I returned to my room, and the water pressure wasn’t great- see video below. It also wasn’t the cleanest- sink had black bits coming out the tap, and paint on the table and floor. Maintenance came to fix my shower, and I was told “tomorrow, tomorrow”. It wasn’t warm or fixed. I attempted one teams meeting on the WiFi and no dice so had decided that I would be leaving tomorrow. I went to bed- and mini disco started. Now I love baby shark as much as the next person, and it’s worth mentioning that the animation team have the patience of saints, and need to be rewarded massively. But at 10pm when you can still hear the thumping bass after 2 brandy sours- is not okay. I informed reception of all of my problems at 2220 and then contacted my tour operator- I was offered another room in another resort. The reviews for these speak for themselves-and I was done. I was told to wait until the head of reception arrived at 10am the next day to complain and request a refund. At 10am the next morning I spoke to the head of reception who was mortified, and tried everything to make me stay. She explained that they were unable to refund me as my tour operator had my money. I have contacted them and a refund investigation is ongoing. In summary- if you have young children who eat chicken nuggets, chips, buttery pasta and want ice-cream and pop in the sunshine with an amazing pool and waterpark for a great price come here, you’ll get a bargain- just maybe bring towels and bedsheets if you’re a bit of a cleanliness enthusiast. If you’re a couple, solo travelling, child-free. AVOID.
