Great location and welcoming staff

Stylish hotel, convenient location near Perth station. The room door was heavy and the wall shook when the next door closed.

I lived in perth for 4-5 years and I still visit a couple times a year for work. I always stay in Alex hotel. Its location is fantastic, the rooms/bathrooms are great and the service is on point. I will continue staying here on my future trips

Awesome location, clean with friendly staff. I think it would be handy to provide shower caps for guests. :) otherwise a top notch stay. Would definitely consider booking a room here again.

Hotel is in a great location. Close to restaurants and bars. Was a little disappointed to have no bar fridge or wardrobe in our room.

The staff were brilliant and the room was comfortable. It is a great place to stay for trains and public transport as well as night life and restaurants. GF options for breakfast were offered -toast, yoghurt and fruit. Barista coffee at breakfast was a treat. We did have a few issues with the room. The air conditioning cut out a couple of times in the middle of the night and we woke up each time this happened, as the room became too hot. Had to restart the air conditioning each time. Be prepared for no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities. They are offered communally but I do like to be able to enjoy these items in my room. The bathroom had two shower hoses. A waterfall one and a movable one on a hose. The hose head kept hitting the shower wall and every time it was adjusted it would swing back to the shower wall. So we tried to use the waterfall shower head but the button kept adjusting back to the hose head. It was very frustrating. The final thing was the shower gel and liquid hand soap were so watered down that it was like washing your hands/body with just water. Not very hygienic. These are all maintenance issues. The hotel had some really lovely spaces and we felt welcomed to use them.

Great base for enjoying cultural and dining experiences in Northbridge/Beaufort Street. Close to the broader Perth CBD. The standard of fixtures and fittings is very high and the staff very welcoming. Great continental breakfast too.

Fantastic hotel, great potition in Perth. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The room was clean and had everything you needed. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are simply furnished with most modern conveniences. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It would be great to have a option for a small fridge in the room. Otherwise, venue is central, convenient and all staff very helpful and friendly - would stay again, Only small complaint would be the $200 bond, which was a surprise charge at check in - the fee is charged to the card immediately, but can take 5-7 days to be returned to the card.

Loved this hotel. Great Northbridge location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast included and the late check out was a big plus.
