Pet Friendly Hotels in Turpan

After we encountered a bad experience with a desert glamping resort in Dunhuang, we were a bit cautious with Dune when we booked it. However, after I communicated with the manager in Dune via WeChat, I was more confident as he was very polite and helpful. He helped us to booked a transfer from Turpan Airport to Dune resort. As our flight arrived Turpan in the evening, it was late when we arrived at Dune. The manager and another staff came to the entrance of the driveway to welcome us and helped us with our luggage. They took us straight to our tent, and they upgraded us to a bigger tent, too. We woke up to this beautiful Kumtag Desert Sand dunes, right in front of our tent! It was so beautiful. As the off peak season started, we were the only guests there but the staff were serving us with delicious breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious and plentiful! The manager and staff were very attentive to our requests. One of the staff has helped us to arrange a local guide/driver to take us to the Kumtag desert for an exciting ATV ride and sand sliding. We had a great time. We ended up hiring the same guide, a pleasant and calm Uygur young guy to take us for some sightseeing and dropped us back to Turpan. I would say to anyone who is looking for a real desert glamping, please come to Dune in Shahshan near Turpan instead of Dunhuang.

The ambiance is wonderful. From the moment I enter the courtyard, it feels like I'm back in my grandparents' childhood home. The hotel's decor is very local. The service was excellent, and most requests were quickly addressed. I was worried the pictures might differ from the actual experience, but there wasn't at all! It was a truly wonderful stay.

This stay experience is perfect! The moment you open the door, a fresh breath hits you in the face. The marble floor is as smooth as a mirror, the bedding is smooth as new, and even the decorative ornaments in the corners are spotless. Every detail shows the hotel's professionalism and care. The parking lot is well planned and the signs are clear, so you can easily find a space even if it is your first visit. Free parking tickets are also provided when you leave. The biggest surprise was the breakfast session, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, the freshly cooked noodle soup was fresh and rich, the freshly baked bread was soft and sweet, and the freshly ground coffee was fragrant. You could feel the chef's superb cooking skills in every bite. From the environment to the service, it's impeccable. Next time I come here on a business trip, this hotel will definitely be my best choice!

We traveled with our pet by car and stayed in a special twin room (no window) on September 8, but other facilities were complete, new, clean and hygienic. I had a good sleep and was very satisfied. Thank you for being pet friendly. The area around the hotel is safe, clean and not cluttered. There is an open park diagonally opposite, which is very convenient for walking the dog. The front desk service patiently reminded us how to use the smart phone in a thoughtful and meticulous manner. The room is spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the mattress is thick and will not be disturbed by the springs. The bathroom has a large washbasin, the shower has all the necessary functions, the water pressure is high, and the toilet has an intelligent heated flush that requires no manipulation. Smart lighting makes it convenient to turn on the lights at night, and Xiaodu voice wake-up the air conditioner is also convenient. There are too many advantages to list here. Next time I go back to Xinjiang, I will definitely stop in Hami and stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is in a great location, within the Grape Valley scenic area, across from Fengqing Garden. The service was very friendly and helpful, even booking a car to pick us up at the train station. Self-service laundry is available. Upon arrival, the room was average cleanliness, with a slight odor. Turning on the lights at night, we noticed spider webs and a dirty duvet cover, likely from the bedside table. The headboard was quite dusty, so we wiped it clean before we dared sleep. We informed the owner the next day, and the room was cleaned shortly thereafter. Breakfast was simple but adequate.

Very unique B&B First impression: wooden pavilion, blue bricks and tiles, antique style Check-in experience: The little girl at the front desk was warm and thoughtful. I encountered a small problem when checking into the family room. After communicating with the store, she decisively changed the room and upgraded it for free. It was very heart-warming. My favorite: I like the big terrace on the second floor. It is accompanied by stars at night and shaded by ancient trees during the day. It is so comfortable to drink tea with my family.

What a surprise! We called before our arrival to ask for the exact location, and a young man who spoke fluent Mandarin answered the phone. Upon arrival, we discovered he was a Uyghur man. Furthermore, the B&B was fully equipped, with the air conditioning already set up before our arrival. They also offer à la carte dining, and the food was delicious, making it a great value per person. The room was clean, and the service was excellent. From our arrival to our departure, they were very patient with our questions and needs!

The facilities are brand new, and the hotel is very clean! We were given watermelons upon check-in, and the front desk lady was incredibly friendly and available 24 hours a day! We checked in late at night and were completely comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by a plethora of amenities, including restaurants and a mahjong parlor. The night market is nearby, and there's a barber shop if you don't want to wash your hair. It was a truly worthwhile night in Xinjiang, and the price was incredibly reasonable. If I hadn't been short on time, I would have stayed longer. I'll definitely be back next time!

The hotel's location was easy to find, and it has an underground parking garage, though spaces are limited and shared with other hotels. When we arrived, there were no spots, so we parked on a bend in the road outside. The room looked okay, but the shower grout had a lot of grime, which was a bit off-putting. The cleanliness was generally alright. However, breakfast was really mediocre; it would have been better to spend the money eating out. The variety was very limited, and the watermelon wasn't fresh at all—some pieces were even rotten.

Couldn’t be happier with the stay. Arrived early morning at Turpan rail station and the owner granted early checkin without a fuss. Super convenient given the tiring overnight train journey. Owner was also kind enough to arrange for tour driver for one day sightseeing. The area is awesome! Next door is a local vegetable and fruit shop where things can be purchased super cheaply. Bought a large watermelon (in season) and the owner lent a knife to cut it open. Delicious! The room is great; well appointed, clean, breezy. Only slight issue with the bathroom where the water didn’t drain fast enough so need to shower carefully to prevent overflow into the room. Overall, it was a stay well beyond expectation. The owner was super nice and helpful.
