The desert is lonely, but at this luxury hotel on the edge of the Kumtag Desert in Shanshan, that solitude becomes a poetic experience. Golden sand dunes undulate silently, like the breath of the earth. Here, time slows to a crawl, and the world becomes nothing but the desert, the starry sky, and the throbbing of the soul.
The tents, nestled in the desert, look like an ancient caravan camp from afar, but upon closer inspection, the interior reveals a warm and luxurious atmosphere. Soft carpets and understated yet sophisticated lighting create a perfect blend of desolation and comfort. In the evening, we soaked in the hot water in the open-air bath, watching the sunset paint the dunes a rouge hue. In that moment, it felt as if the entire desert whispered to us.
Dinner that evening was a feast we could never have imagined. The lamb short ribs, simmered for 36 hours, are tender yet not mushy. The tendon is crisp, and the aroma of ginger and chili dances on the tongue. The ox knee is soft and flavorful, and the rich tomato sauce is like a love poem from the Western Regions. The spiced aroma of the flatbreads and roast chicken carries the flavors of merchants and travelers from thousands of years ago. I can't help but wonder if in ancient tents, kings, princes, and generals sat together, drinking tea, eating meat, and discussing the country.
After dinner, we drank tea under the stars. The cool desert breeze blew against our faces, but we didn't feel cold. The stars in the sky, distant yet close, seemed like the most gentle gaze on travelers. That night, the desert was no longer empty, but filled with our dreams and romance.

惠惠youngI had a wonderful time staying at this hotel on my first trip to Turpan, Xinjiang. I had a very comfortable three-night stay. The room was warm and clean. The interior design was beautiful throughout the hotel. The restaurant staff, room service staff, and even the security guard at the entrance were all very friendly. However, I wish the young women at the front desk had been more welcoming.😊

We arrived at night, and the illuminated manor house was both quiet and bustling, with performances by veteran artists bringing the courtyard to life! After enjoying a welcome feast of grapes, our housekeeper escorted us to our cabin... The swaying light and shadows of the grapevines made me pleasantly surprised to find it felt just like a villa in Bali!
The next morning, we asked our housekeeper for breakfast, which was hearty and healthy. The lovely lady even told us we could add more if we wanted... After breakfast, we could leisurely explore Grape Valley!
My only regret is not staying longer. The cleanliness, quietness, and comfort of the cabin made me want to stay for a month!

It was amazing 👍 Special 👍 and unique, a very tasteful B&B with a large courtyard. The overall environment was very comfortable, clean, and the service was warm and attentive. It's a great place to relax and unwind. 😊 I'll definitely be back next time. ☕️ Thank you to the staff at Eight Wind Valley B&B for their attentive and friendly service 🌷🌷🌷

The room is spacious and bright, and the facilities are very new. The curtains and lights in the room are smart and convenient. The bedding is very comfortable to sleep on. The hotel also has It is also very convenient to wash clothes in the gym and laundry room. The laundry detergent and softener are added in the washing machine, so there is no need to buy it separately. The hotel's breakfast is also very delicious, with many varieties and good taste. There are also freshly cooked wontons. There are also many delicious foods in the surrounding area. The oily pork noodles in the noodle restaurant next to the hotel are so delicious. A plate full of meat is available. I will stay here again when I come to Turpan again. Very satisfied

GGuest UserThe hotel was on a back street in old Turpan so it was quiet and in a pleasant area. The hotel room was good and we were upgraded for free. There is a lovely and extensive garden/patio which unfortunately we could only make minimal use because it was cold. The hotel was extremely clean and our room was cleaned every day without request and we were supplied with clean towels every day. The manager was very helpful, advising us on a number of matters, ordering a taxi for us, and permitting us to stay until 2:00 PM when we left because of a 4:00 PM train departure. The hotel provided a basic but very reasonably priced breakfast. And as all reviewers have noted, the hotel has a unique toilet.
