"The hotel is on the mountain, beautiful view. But it needs to be understood that this is not a beach hotel. Formally there is an exit to the beach from the pool, but it is very cool and in the heat to rise from the sea it is a occupation only for physically trained people. And it is wild.
On the sea beach you need to drive 5 minutes Maya Beach, parking + two lying + a umbrella 35 euros a day. Towels are yours.
Breakfast was delicious, but all 4 days were the same.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable.
Far from civilization , there is one on the mountain.
There are lots of parking spaces.
There is a paid transfer to Taormina.
Dinner for 35 euros is normal, but without delight.
In the evening there is a show program."

Our stay at Hotel Villa Angela was simply perfect. We would like to sincerely thank the entire team for their extreme kindness and attention throughout our stay. We were truly pampered — a hospitality that made all the difference. The room was spectacular: comfortable, beautifully decorated, with a delightful jacuzzi and a balcony with a breathtaking view. We were even lucky enough to witness an eruption of Etna in a quiet dawn… a spectacle of nature that we will never forget. The breakfast is very rich and well thought out, with various Sicilian specialties, both sweet and savory. The cassata cake we ate on the first day was, without exaggeration, divine. On our last night, we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was an excellent choice: the dishes were very well prepared and paired with a light and delicious rosé wine. A perfect night to end our stay. The hotel also offers an excellent transfer service to the historic center of Taormina, which allowed us to easily alternate between walking tours and moments of rest at the hotel. Top marks, with honors. We're already making plans to come back!

We were very satisfied with the room, located on the second floor. There wasn't the rooftop music we expected at night. A highlight was the complimentary lemonade at the front desk, and they could help call a taxi to the bus terminal (note that you should make sure the taxi fare is the same as what you agreed beforehand, as they might try to charge extra). We were initially directed up stairs by Google Maps, but after contacting the hotel, they informed us of a route that didn't require climbing stairs and arranged for someone to pick us up – a very helpful experience. Taormina is located on a hillside with a steep incline, making it quite a challenge to drag luggage around. There's a bus stop right outside Taormina train station; you can take a bus to the hillside or the top. A cashier will collect the fare when the bus is about to arrive – €1.10 per person to the hillside.

A fantastic hotel, located within the scenic area, within walking distance of the viewing platform and the grand theater. The town is wonderful at night and worth exploring. It's highly recommended to book a room with a small balcony, as it's excellent.
