Namaka Resort Kamala Reviews

Namaka was a nice resort situated on the side of the mountain at Kamala beach. It sits above the tsunami danger line so the place feels safe. It is very private and quiet, the staff are friendly and also very helpful especially getting up and down the steep hill to get to your room. Breakfast in the morning was always such a treat, as they have a variety of foods offered ranging from light to heavy. There is also a very convenient Starbucks by the reception area that overlooks the ocean. They have two pools that can be used, a pool table in the lounge area, and a fitness center which is easily accessible. I would say the only downside is the parking- because of its location, there is limited space to park cars in the actual hotel grounds. Most guests who bring their own cars will have to parallel park on the side of the road outside the hotel.

This hotel is great ! Really nothing to say, the rooms are clean and modern, the view is incredible, the pools are magical, the food is super good, the staff is very very nice, you can go by foot to the beach, and if you want to go further, you can rent motorbike, can go by foot (20 minutes), or they have a shuttle bus to go to Kamala.

To be honest, the location of the hotel is good, and the sea view from the balcony is also good, but other than that it is useless Facilities: The air conditioner is very old and very noisy. It is like putting a juicer in the bedroom. It is a cautious choice if you have neurasthenia and cannot sleep well. However, if you turn off the air conditioner, you will hear the loud noise of other air conditioners outside the door. The interior decoration has nothing to do with five-star standards and is not even comparable to that of a business hotel. Environment: A few days after checking in, road renovations started in front of the hotel. The noise continued all day long, making it impossible to sleep in. To sum up, this is one of the worst experiences I have had since traveling abroad.

The accommodation has a beautiful view. There is still dust in the room. The normal TV channels are not clear. I had a technician come and look at it but I couldn't fix it. I can sometimes connect to YouTube, but I can't. The housekeeper's service is still not good. Stayed for 3 nights and had to ask for towels all the time. Small towels were not provided on the last day. When I asked the housekeeper, she said all the towels were gone. It hasn't been delivered yet. Equipment such as a shower cap is not replenished at all. The overall picture is indifferent. I think that if the price is this size, I probably won't go back to stay.

The layout of the room is a bit uncomfortable and depressing, especially the design of the bathroom where it rains. In addition, there are no hooks in the bathroom. There is no place to hang the bath towels. House keeping and cleaning need to be improved. The professional shower gel is gone and it has not been added for two days. There is also no small towel. Toilet paper was also left out. Overall, the price/performance ratio is average.

The sea view from the balcony is really beautiful. The room is not as clean as domestic hotels, but it is within my acceptable range. The wifi is very poor and is gone when you walk to the balcony. The breakfast was good and the two infinity pools were beautiful. It is very difficult to climb on a hillside, there is no elevator, and it takes a lot of physical strength. The location is not very good, you have to take a taxi everywhere. Generally speaking, it is a hotel suitable for staying in the hotel and having a bad vacation.
