This is truly an oasis of luxury in Tsilivi. The staff are magnificent; the welcome from Sarah and her team was second to none. There is nothing too much trouble and there are loads of staff who are there to help. From the team at the desk, through the guys in the spa, to those serving in the restaurant / round the pool, through to the cleaners, everyone has a smile and makes you feel a million dollars... Every single one deserves a medal for making us feel special for the time we were there. Special mention goes to Sarah and Christine, who were absolute superstars - thanks so much. The room was as nice a room as we have stayed in. Contemporary, clean, tidy, spacious and well appointed. The bed was absolutely magnificent. We were in 324 and the balcony faced the pool and was a proper sun trap in the afternoon; it was big too, so we spent hours on there just chilling. The towels were great, the shower was superb and the products provided were lovely. It was cleaned and tidied really well each day too. We got a late checkout too, so were in the room until 1500 on the day we left; it was 65 euros for the extra 4 hours, so we'll worth it IMO. We were B&B, so never sampled the restaurant for evening meals. Brekkie was the best spread I've seen, and wasn't busy either. Christine looked after us every morning and we never lifted a finger. I had eggs benedict each day and while it was small, it tasted fantastic. The breakfast wine blew the cobwebs away too, so make sure you give that a try. We ate a couple of times of an afternoon round the pool, and while the menu is limited the food was nice, other than some under cooked chips. We also sampled the lovely tranquil spa. My fiancée had a facial treatment, which she said was lovely, then we had the cave pool booked for an hour to do even more relaxing, after she was finished. You HAVE to do that mind. The cocktails are second-to-none; the barman made me a vesper, which was marvellous. In fact I had two it was that good. The other half had a pornstar martini on more than a few occasions, put it that way. They were the best cocktails we had all week. The only thing was the seeming lack of sunbeds; it didn't bother us, but others seemed to scrambling to get one. I fed this back and hopefully the team will sort this out. I'm sure they will, as it wasn't a huge problem. In summary this is a magnificent hotel and we can't recommend it enough. We will definitely be back and can't wait to relax in the sun with the team there looking after us. Thanks everyone...

We just came back yesterday from this beautiful hotel. We stayed in 129. Hotel is exactly like the pictures. Whole experience was excellent from The facilities to the food and drinks (get the club sandwich the best) . Very relaxing atmosphere. Staff were wonderful and pleasant. Can’t recommend enough for couples. Lovely welcome with drinks while We waited for our room to be ready and a lovely parting gift as we went. Will be back!

We are 5 days in on our 14 day stay. Rooms are immaculate and have all you would need. Staff are lovely and seem to genuinely care. They all work extremely hard at breakfast time and the breakfast choice is great. Pool area is excellent and great to see that most adhere to the no reserving of sunbeds. Plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walk…including Botanical Gardens / Halfway House / Johnny’s Greek Restaurant. If you have an upper suite booked, we are in 321 which is in a lovely position with sun on your balcony in the afternoon. Thank you Contessina Suites and we look forward to our next 10 days.

There are not enough words for me to describe how fantastic this hotel is. From the moment we arrived everything was just perfect and I can honestly say it is the best place I have ever stayed! After a lovely, warm welcome we were offered some much needed welcome drinks. We were then told as it was our honeymoon that our room was being upgraded! The room was gorgeous. We had a shared pool outside our room, the bed was huge and very, very comfortable (as parents of a 2 year old we took advantage and slept in every morning!) and the room was spotlessly clean. Every day (sometimes twice) the towels were replaced and everything cleaned. The room also had coffee and tea making facilities and an amazing shower. As for the rest of the hotel….every single member of staff we spoke to was so lovely and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. We only stayed bed and breakfast but the breakfast….wow! A huge spread of everything you could wish for, we never really even needed lunch! The hotel is very quiet but also close to a huge number of restaurants and bars, the beach is also only a 10-15 min walk away. All in all there is nowhere else I would stay if we were to return to Zakynthos. Thank you so much for making our honeymoon so incredible! :)

Upon arrival we were received very well by the friendly staff with refreshments and a Greek sweet specialty. The hotel, our room and the wellness facilities are very clean, modern and beautiful 😍 We where also able to book a day trip and rent a car via the hotel, and we had a wonderful stay. Totally recommend!

We had a great stay at Contessina. Very warm welcome in a beautiful hotel, nice rooms, clean, excellent food. Everything you want for a holiday! It is only a 2 minute walk to the beach and there are restaurants and bars nearby if you want to have a night or day outside the hotel. We recommended to our friends and already two couples booked the hotel! We would go again when we visit Zakynthos!

It was a very nice and pleasant hotel. Upon arrival we were well received and they gave us an appetizer. Because the hotel was not that big, you could easily find your way everywhere and you could enjoy it in peace.The hotel rooms were also beautiful and were cleaned well every day.We definitely want to come back again!
