Spring Hotel Vulcano

Lovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

From the moment you arrive this hotel is impressive. You walk into a three story, large, lobby reception area. We checked in easily and the receptionist was very professional. We were in room 311 which was close to the lifts and filtered water station. The room was large with a good size balcony, the balconies are arranged so you don’t really see any of the other balconies of your neighbours. We looked over a lane that went down to the golden mile. The bed are two singles next to each other, not what I would have chosen but they are very comfortable. There is a large tv, a kettle and empty fridge. The bathroom is a good size with a very powerful shower. Air conditioning covers every corner of the road and is adjustable. Reception and the large hotel bar is on level one with level zero being the restaurant for breakfast, the pool, pool bar gym and spa. The breakfasts are some of the best I’ve ever eaten, they truly cover every thing imaginable. Noise, they has been a lot of feedback about the building noise at the hotel. When we was there, second week of September, the noise was minimal, an occasional saw or banging but it sounds like it on the roof, where Up! Is. For a few days we heard nothing at all, it really isn’t a problem. The bigger problem was a group of golfers in their 50’s who turned up, shouting down from their balconies and acting like they are on a lads holiday. Cockroaches, these get a mention of previous reviews. We never see one insect the whole time we were there. The maids are very professional and the rooms immaculate everyday. Every morning you see the pool area being cleaned and the gardens being trimmed and looked after. Pool entertainment is varied, something going on everyday but some days there are very professional acts. A group of singers and dancers with a guy with a motorbike, another day a gymnast. If I could pick one, trivial, criticism it would be to move the smoking area. The smoking area is by the entrance near the restaurant, walking into the hotel from the pool area you end up walking through clouds of smoke.

I just want to write a short note to say, we had another wonderful stay at Volcano hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome, and the staff were friendly, attentive and as helpful as always throughout our stay. Big shout to Pedro at the pool, so friendly, Georgina & Rosa at the bar, lovely girls.. The hotel is lovely, clean and comfortable, with a great atmosphere and everything we needed for a relaxing holiday, the recent changes are all fantastic & suit all ages, which is a great addition in my opinion.The location is fantastic, and we especially enjoyed being able to unwind and make the most of the beautiful surroundings & extras on offer. A big thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We will be returning in December for another week and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Playa De Las Americas. ❤️☀️

The hotel can be so much better with a little attention to detail. Upon arrival we were given room 629. The good bit stopped virtually there. We were given room a room it had no towels - I didn’t realise (just naturally assumed I’d have a towel to dry - I called reception they told me I have to come down to collect them whilst wet because they cannot leave reception unattended. OK minor hiccup. I then needed to use the loo, guess what no loo roll - they brought two after we called again. The room comes with complementary coffee / hot drinks but don’t forget to bring your mugs, the they’re not provided, nor are any bathroom basic toiletries other than, shampoo, shower gel and a hand soap. £200 per night come on guys not hard to get things right. Following morning I called to ask for an iron / ironing board (not an in room provision) they brought me them but they brought me a travel iron with a UK plug on it we are in Tenerife where they use two pin sockets. Complete incompetence and not worth the money I paid. I’m so disappointed.

Great hotel with exceptional service. The breakfast buffet was amazing, so many options from full English options such as toast, sausages, hash browns, beans, eggs (of all kinds) and many more! There is also pastries, cereals, fruits and lots of choices of fresh juice choices. There are also a few coffee machines for hot drinks. The pool is a very good size, with lots of sun loungers scattered around! The gym is also very good, most hotels don’t really have much to use, but the gym here is amazing, I used that a few times while there!

Nice hotel , good location, clean room and the cleaners were in every day with clean towels and clean bedding . Overall our experience was good however There was no entertainment around the pool, seemed to struggle to find a sun lounger as must had been reserved but no one there, some parts of the hotel were inaccessible unless you were in an UP! Room we also noticed a ( few roaches dead ) but if I had read the other reviews here with them I wouldn’t have stayed here.

Was at this Hotel for 7 Nights and Loved this Hotel so much, all the staff from the Reception to the Cleaners were lovely, we also payed for 2 days access to the Up roof top terrace which was a great experience , my only small gripe would be that we were also able to use the Balance terrace and Unfortunately a lot of the Parasols and Sun loungers were broken which ment if you tried to go up later in the day there was very little chance of a bed. Otherwise this is a lovely Hotel and are looking forward to returning at some point
