Porto Hotels with Gym

Very modern, clean hotel, located close to the metro station. Very friendly staff - quickly responding to client's requests. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. Cleaned daily. The shower - amazing with some nice features :)

The food in the hotel's bar is very good. The room is not very big, but the view and overall facilities are okay. It is between 4 and 5 stars. The only problem was that they forgot to clean our room, even though we didn't go out in the afternoon, they still forgot after reminding the hotel that it could be cleaned. Breakfast is relatively excellent. You cannot hail a taxi at the hotel entrance, but you can walk 2 minutes to the alley entrance to hail a taxi.

OK so we arrived very early and the whole of the front and one side of the hotel is surrounded by construction for the new metro. I really feel for the staff but they were handling it well. We did have to wait a long time to check in but that was because they wanted to give us a room away from the building work. The junior suite was great and the welcome was fab. Breakfast was stunning and the staff were adorable.

This hotel was great! The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore. The breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of delicious options to choose from every morning. While the rooms were a bit on the smaller side, they were cozy and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, especially in directing us to the Car Park nearby. The outdoor space was perfect for relaxing in between sightseeing. Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay in Porto! tips: Before you have to lug your belongings for several city blocks, be sure you have the right location. There's another hotel in Porto with a very similar name. We went there first and they said it happens all the time. Also, if you're coming by car, there is no parking right outside the hotel as it is in an alley. Use the D. João I Parking Car Park/Garage (on the corner) as parking on Porto streets is not advised by hotel staff. The elevator from the garage will bring you right up to the square across the street making it very convenient. Price is 20 Euros a day.

The room was big and clean got everything. The hotel staff are professional very helpful Breakfast 17eouro if u dont book in advance if u did 12 . The location is ok because the taxies are affordable to the old city 7 eour Few restaurants around the hotel the closest are 2 sea food and another one. And one coffee place to have sweets or simple bite to eat lebon cafeteria. Not alot in the area to see.. still I got in 30 m from the airport with a taxi 25 euro make. sure it's this hotel because thier is 5 star same name hotel close by. safe place and not noisy..

My one night stay at the BessaHotel in Porto was very pleasant. The room was stylish, clean and modern, providing a comfortable environment. The experience at the pool was positive, especially as it had been raining all day, despite the disorganization caused by the constant occupation of the sun loungers by other guests who left without collecting their towels and occupying them uselessly. The central location, close to the Bulhão Metro, facilitated access to various points in the city. Quick service and without much bureaucracy. Would go back!! :)

When we arrived I thought I was getting a deluxe room with view and balcony. The room was so small that I couldn’t fit my 2 luggages in the room. And the room had a foot depth balcony. After complaining we were apparently upgraded. The breakfast is buffet and they don’t offer À la cart. The location of the hotel is fantastic, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean and nice. The staff are not very friendly and no matter if you are at the restaurant or in the lobby it takes them 45 min to 1 hour to bring you your food. I will never stay at this hotel.

Was good location, walking distance from Porto center with rooftop bar and wonderful view. Had good facilities (limited gym but could get hotel-arranged bikes) and the breakfast was very good. Would for sure stay here again in the future.

Modern fresh and clean hotel. This hotel is centrally located 10 min walk from Porto. Rooms are small and very well equipped. It has everything that you require. Bar and choice of beverages is of a high standrard. We ate in the hotel restaurant and I have to say it was the best meal that we had in Porto we were delighted.

Our first time in Porto and chose this hotel based on other reviews. Got to say, we could not fault this hotel, it's excellent. The location is ideal, the rooms are spacious (we were given an upgrade to a room at the side of the pool), superb staff, great bar service, good food, everything is superb and spotlessly clean. It's even got a pool area with very comfortable sun beds around it. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you're thinking of going to Porto (which is an absolutely fantastic city to explore). Thank you Hotel Catalonia, we will return.
