La Maurella

The location is excellent, with convenient gated parking right by the main road. The room was very clean, quiet, and had a great shower. We enjoyed the balcony with its lovely sea view. There are two restaurants within a minute's walk, though you need to walk near the cars on the main road. The pool was heated. Michele was incredibly kind and helpful, offering great suggestions for daily activities, including options for rainy days. The only downside was the very firm mattress, where we could feel the springs. However, the staff quickly added two foam toppers and blankets, which made it better, but still not that comfortable. Also, there’s no elevator, but Michele kindly carried our luggage to the room.

Received a really warm welcome from Michele on arrival who took the time to write down all the best local restaurants & gave us directions to the nearby beach. Lovely attentive staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Diana & Angela amazing. Panoramic view from immaculate room. Room adjacent to reception so occasional noise but on the whole very quiet. Breakfast selection was excellent & we looked forward to Diana’s lemon cake each morning. Location is off the beaten track, without a car you rely upon the bus to get to major hubs. But bus stop is very close. Temperamental shower was the only slight gripe, water pressure a tad inconsistent but it’s a minor grievance. Loved our stay.

Nice view, very good Service, Migelle was great host, very clean hotel, good breakfast. Host was very helpful to give inputs on all our tourist query. Breakfast was nice. They also have parking. And host assisted with luggage moving between car & room.

Mikelle and the team here were amazing. We stayed for 4 nights but wish we stayed here longer. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, best views and comfy beds. Mikelle is really helpful with info about the area and makes a brilliant cappuccino. My partner and I got engaged on the trip, and the team went above and beyond with making the room look amazing when we returned to the hotel after a day out. Location is good, very close to the bus stops to Amalfi & Positano and just a 10 min walk to the beach where some shuttle boats for restaurants/beach clubs can pick you up from. If we return to the Amalfi coast, we'd definitely stay again!

A smart (and rather expensive) B&B with swimming pool. The ensuite rooms have balconies with lovely views of olive groves and the sea. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The B&B is situated on the hillside under the coastal road: the rooms are well insulated but light sleepers might want to ask for a room on the lowest floor, which is furthest from the road. Kind and attentive staff.

We love B&Bs and LaMaurella had the best service we’ve ever experienced! Michele made our visit exceptional. He was always asking us what he could do to make our trip better. My advice for a busy trip: spend a day just relaxing on your balcony and order lunch service for your room. And, Praiano was a good jump off point for the Amalfi coast.

Lovely hotel..... Can't fault anything with the hotel. The staff deserve special praise though. Can't do enough for you and always friendly. Would recommend a stay here to anyone. Thank you to Michael for drawing me maps and answering my many questions.
