Hotels in Licang Commercial Area, Qingdao

The room facilities were good, standard Sheraton hardware. The negative review is for the breakfast staff, who were completely unprofessional. I asked for a butter latte to go. After I stated my request, the breakfast staff member just laughed and walked away with another colleague. A while later, they brought out a butter Americano. When I asked the restaurant why it was an Americano, the reply was that they hadn't heard me clearly. If they didn't hear clearly, why didn't the staff member have the common sense to ask again? Is this the kind of service attitude expected from a Marriott group hotel? It's terribly bad. All the negative service feedback goes to the breakfast restaurant. To the staff member who made this for me, would you even drink it yourself? I've stayed at so many St. Regis, Marriott, and Sheraton hotels and never encountered something like this. You'd think some low-quality motel staff were moonlighting for breakfast service.

Overall I think the hotel was great for the price. The location especially was very convenient compared to others at the same price point- lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was also a standout, they had seemingly very genuine smiles every time they greeted us. The only issue I experienced was receiving a bath towel with a sizable hole in it from continued use. Otherwise the amenities were generally good. City night view was lovely. Metro was only a 2-3 minute walk.

The hotel environment was excellent. As soon as we entered, the bellhop helped us with our luggage and brought it up to our room after we checked in. The front desk staff even proactively upgraded us to an executive room, making our stay even more comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast selection was extensive and delicious. It definitely met the standards of a five-star hotel. This was the most comfortable stay we had during our trip to Qingdao, and it offered great value for money. It's even more ideal if you're traveling by car! There are malls and many restaurants near the hotel. And for food delivery, a robot brings it right to your room, which is super convenient! Although it was a short stay as we headed to the airport the next day, it left a deep impression. This will be our first choice next time we visit Qingdao!

Extremely satisfied! The hotel even upgraded my room upon check-in. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Being on a higher floor was great for enjoying the views outside the window, and it was nice that the window could open for good ventilation.

It was the best night's sleep I've had since arriving in Qingdao. Even the toiletries smelled great – I loved the toothpaste, and the shower gel smelled really good too.
